    Shuttle service
    Leilani M.

Convenient location for drop off or pick up to lax. Easily accessible right off the fwy. Picking up a friend it was easy to find. Shuttles to airport available. Parking fee with guard on duty. Inside reception desk was spacious but lobby a bit rough around the edges. Tv, vending machine, restrooms, small convenience items area. Pet friendly is not friendly for the ones who are allergic. It is what it is.

3rd point of escalation with armed guard sent by "front desk" to oust id from the property because of my wife not having her ID

--- Below Mediocre, Misleading, and Intimidating--- If I could give zero stars, I would. This was easily the most unnecessary and disrespectful hotel experience I've ever had -- and I've stayed at plenty of places. We booked the room, paid the deposit, and checked in. No issues. But apparently, this Motel 6 enforces a hidden policy that every single person on the property -- not just the person who booked -- must present government-issued ID. That detail is not shown clearly when booking, not on the front page of their website, and definitely not something any normal guest expects. Some time after I checked in, an armed security guard banged on my room because my partner (who had to use the restroom) didn't have her reissued ID yet. Not only was the staff inflexible -- they escalated. The guard came back after a few minutes, more forceful, and were even removed from the property entirely while standing in the driveway trying to figure out where to go. No communication, no refund, no discussion, no understanding. And I'm not exaggerating when I say this: even people who work in the hotel business told us they've never heard of a policy this extreme. Friends we told were just like, "What? Who does that?" Look, I get that employees have to follow rules. But these pawns chose to go above and beyond with unnecessary rudeness and pressure. Pretty sad. It felt less like a hospitality business and more like a low-key, carceral room & board. And reading through the 4-5 star reviews.. really? I honestly don't know what hotel they stayed at. This place was mediocre AF, tense, and deeply unprofessional. Bottom line: Avoid this location. Motel 6 should be embarrassed to run a place like this.

    Bedbugs on bed sheets

Unfriendly staff. They ask guests to take seats till they get called if they arrive before check in time. Without even asking for names or details of the guest. Rooms were quite okay, until insects started to appear during our sleep. Bedbugs were crawling over sheets and under pillows. Had to check out in the middle of the night hours after we checked in.

Ugly orange wall and matching curtain!

First of all the booking service they use online says yes to every type of room available but does not really book the room or note the specifications requested. Secondly, there is a lack of communication between shifts, which should be required (especially if there are pressing issues during the day that management needs to intervene in) and lastly, the night time staff is very rude. They are extremely unprofessional. The overall condition of the room is not worth the 300+ dollars per room that my family paid for 2 nights stay. The rooms smell like mildew. The cheap paint drab color on the wall and matching curtain and white corking on the trim in so unappealing. I'm not even sure they cleaned the rooms really! Never again!!

I stayed here for the last day of my California trip so that my traveling mate and I could be close to the airport. I was pleasantly surprised as (for the price) the room was simple and clean, and the customer service was professional. Beds were comfy, and the hotel was not run down like I thought it would be due to low price. There's an outdoor pool and plenty of vending machines and little places to eat or grab a drink in Inglewood area. Parking costs $16.50 a night. The hold fee was only $75. Overall, I would stay again. The only cons were that the tub stopped up a bit, and the hold actually turned into a charge that they refund a few days after they take it (as opposed to a hold just dropping off a few days after checkout. Security was also a little aggressive. Other than that, there were no issues. I would stay again.

I had a great stay at Motel 6. I was apprehensive at first but I had such a pleasant stay. I stayed 3 nights and it cost $200+. Parking: will cost you $16.50 per night (if I remember correctly). Sometimes parking is full at night time. I didn't struggle much and always got parking. Although one night I had to circle the parking lot till someone left. Deposit: they take a deposit which is supposed to be returned when you checkout. Still waiting on mine.... Check in process: this took about 5minutes and I was assisted by Celine (trainee). She was such a delight; kind and had a smile on her face the entire time. I was also assisted by Shante (sorry if the spelling is incorrect) but she was knowledgeable and kind as well. Check out: The process was quick and took 2minutes I'd say. But incase there are lines, I'd suggest waking up early for checkout. Rooms: the rooms were decent! I noticed that every day upon my return to the motel, I had new towels in the room which was very nice. The room I had didn't come with a fridge or a microwave. Sheets felt clean, towels felt clean. No bed bugs so that was great. Elevator: you have to use your room key to access the elevator when going up. Suggestions for Motel 6: 1) I STRONGLY suggest that front desk should have a line system by using "heavy duty crowd control stanchions" from Amazon for check-in and checkout. I noticed on some days it was chaotic and lines were almost nonexistent. This suggestion would help keep the lobby look less busy and control crowding! 2) It would be nice if the rooms consisted of little travel size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Or even blow dryers. I'm not at all picky so I would rate this stay a 8.5/10. I say this because I noticed the guard arguing out loud with an individual outside and it didn't seem professional with all the cursing that was going on, on his end. With that being said, the other guards were awesome and I'm grateful for them for doing their job.

Motel 6 LAX - Running a Prison - Customer Experience Horrible What kind of Prison is Motel 6 running at LAX? Can't have a cup of coffee and sit in the sitting area that is provided to enjoy it. Guards Yelling at you for not reading signs. Can't take pictures in the lobby. Incident: Guard yells at me, "Can you Read" from across the room. I missed the sign that says "No Food or Drinks on Couches". I didn't see the sign, but what hotel has ever not let you drink a cup of coffee in the lobby from their coffee bar. See Pictures. I asked security guard to be nicer, I didn't appreciate his approach. Initial approach is to yell across the room with a sinister remark, "Can You Read!" He started getting aggressive like he was a LA Cop from Rampart. I immediately removed myself from the engagement and went to the front desk asked for a manager. The Clerk who I believe witness his aggressive behavior was aloof in assisting me and just said she'll tell the manager she has my room number. She seemed very evasive and unwilling to help. I left and returned to take pictures of the room and the security guard so I can report to corporate. As I was taking pictures, the Guard told me that it is illegal to take pictures in a private establishment. This establishment is surprisingly clean for a Motel 6 but the customer experience is absolutely horrendous. Bed bugs won't bite you but the staff will. See attachments of Lobby where couches are and coffee bar. The highlighted photo is where I was sitting when the security guard addressed me by yelling from the pillar. See highlighted photo distance in which security guard addressed me. Note: Pictures in this review have been modified to protect the identity of people in the lobby and Security Guard Picture is not posted for the safety of his identity too. If you want to be yelled at like a 3 year old who cannot sit on a couch and drink a cup of coffee Visit Motel 6 LAX. Where we coral you like prisoners and yell at you like kids. Management can't be contacted.

We had a room with a king bed, and we really liked the layout of the room itself. It was modern and quite spacious. The kitchen was complete with a fridge, microwave, stovetop, cookware, and utensils. There was a small coffee maker that we didn't use. Luckily we brought bottled waters because the room didn't come with any. The bathroom was spacious with enough room for two people to get ready. There was shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in dispensers in the shower, as well as one small bar of soap and one makeup wipe at the sink. Onsite there's a Starbucks (closes at 5pm), Jersey Mike's (closes at 9pm), and a pizza place (closes at 10pm). We got food from Jersey Mike's and brought it back to the room to enjoy while watching TV and relaxing. The beds were super comfy, the atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. Early morning checkout was a breeze and the airport shuttle was already there loading up passengers. The ride was quick to our terminal! All in all we enjoyed our stay and we would definitely stay here again.

Would like to return to here again but that inconvenience was a happy mood killer. Got in the elevator and the elevator smelled like a bunch of heavy farts which they should have better scents in there. Had to hold my breath the whole time so I wouldn't barf. It was so bad. :( Also, front desk doesn't allow any food deliveries to deliver up to the rooms which front desk makes it hugely inconvenient for guests having to come down and pick up food. That is not wise at all. More happy mood killers for guests to feel. So not cool. As lovely as the place and rooms are, the service here is very disappointing to horrendous. Also, every room should be checked if the tv works or not for guests. More inconveniences especially calling front desk and having to wait so long for them to pick up. They're not even busy. Maybe just busy staring at people looking like they're assisting guests including me and there were no welcome greetings to guests when entering the lobby. That was already a fail in its own. For a place of pricey hospitality, that is so expected. None of that whatsoever. I went downstairs to lobby to pick up my food myself when the delivery dude wanted to deliver to my room but front desk forbid him. Automatic epic fail with front desk customer service on that and other issues. As well as the water bottles of Voss be new ones daily and not already used ones still sitting there for the next guests like me to be appalled to. Overall, the experience here was wack. :( That they should compensate back somehow. My stars is only 1.5 for here. Do better and be better, management here. Y'all are not even cheap price here to be ghetto service here. Y'all need to not be like all the things I had to mention. Guests like me definitely expect better from y'all. And we are not getting that. At all. So with that, don't be like ghetto hotels. Sure hope y'all fix all that mess immediately because surely no one would want to return here if those I mentioned are all wack and stay wack. Especially when there are more other hotels better to stay at that never make it inconvenient and very unhappy for guests. Period. As the #1 customer service of my staff and I to all my businesses, we would never make our guests unhappy. We are so impressively detailed, attentive, and genuinely caring from the moment of greeting them asap they are about to enter the front doors, to assisting them the whole time, and to them leaving and not wanting to leave being so attached to us. Every time. We don't miss a beat when it comes to our guests. My own guests are always always leaving Yelp comments as: "Loooooooove this place!" And "Excellent service and a fun atmosphere! Customer Services were amazing - attentive but not intrusive and they seemed genuinely pleased that we were enjoying..". And "I love this place! Amazing and the people who work there are so nice and sweet every time! The place is so welcoming and has pretty decor and I'm in love.." And "The staff was very friendly and helpful and ensured we were ok." And "Customer Service was warm, attentive, and quick, which made the whole experience even better." And "Was greeted with a warmth and exuberance often reserved for royals, celebrities, the beloved. Highly recommend this spot!" ~from my own guests of old and new. There are more. A lot more. That's how my staff and I naturally roll. Y'ALL NEED TO STEP UP HUGELY. I'd appreciate it when y'all can compensate me with my visit recently. Because being a first timer here and wanting to return has been difficult. Wasn't a good experience.
