WiFi is trash, there's very few power outlets, room is average. Have paid less and received more in the past.

Rude staff. Smells like weed in the hallways. Not recommended at all. Stayed one night but never again.

I was staying at the hotel that this restaurant is located in, so it only made sense to trybit out. I'm really glad I did! On the menu, it's called the Reef and Beef. 8oz ribeye cooked beautifully. The skewer had 2 shrimp and one scallop. The mashed potatoes and vegetables were a perfect compliment to the proteins. Excellent service in a relaxed atmosphere.

But clean and rooms appear to have had a "facelift". Didn't try out the onsite restaurant and bar, "Driftwood". Full size Starbucks in the lobby is a great touch. The "Pantry" on the 14th is a smaller room with drinks, snacks and some breakfast items. Other larger Delta properties have more full blown staffed Marriott Concierge Lounge or M-Club, this does not. As others have stated the parking garage is small, but close nearby and have tight turns if you have a big truck. Costs are $15 CAD/night. There are 3 spots right by the front door for checkin, with signage for them. Don't believe there is any upgraded room layouts available, as the best available is on the 14th floor "pantry" room with a non blocked view of the Marilyn Monroe towers and Square One mall :-) In our room there don't appear to be any outlets in the bathroom oddly enough. All in all, not bad for the location and price with the right expectations.

Fairfield Marriott Mississauga was an ok place to stay if you're just passing by for A night. Our…read morecheckin experience wasn't very pleasant. At checkin there was a disconnect amongst front desk, housekeeping and management. We received and confirmed our checkin invite via the system 24 hours before arriving. Being a Platinum Elite member, our profile clearly reflects our preferences as high floor and room away from the elevator. We were first assigned a high floor next to the elevator. We had to came back to the front desk and request a different room. They then assigned us a lower floor. This means they never even bothered to look at our profile before or even at physical checkin! Breakfast is non- eventful. You are better off going to a coffee shop! Then, coffee that was offered at checkin (3pm) was cold and tasted horrible. After one sip, I threw it out. They shouldn't even offer leftover breakfast coffee after noon if no one is going to bother to check and replenish. We decided to go back to staying at Marriott's IN Toronto as we had in previous years and had great experiences.

There were two employees at check in, a male and a female - both were helping customers when we arrived. When the male employee got done with helping the customer, it's as if I didn't exist. He went elsewhere and was talking to the other customer who was already being helped by the female employee. Then of course the phone rings and he answers it, so I was again left there waiting. Luckily, the female employee ended up helping me to get us checked in. She explained when the complimentary breakfast was and she answered all the questions I had. We got a standard room with 2 queen beds. Beds and pillows were both firm so I didn't get much sleep since I like sleeping on a soft mattress and pillow. Some buttons on the remote control were not working properly, or perhaps it needed new batteries. It was nice that our room did have a microwave and fridge. The sink stopper in our bathroom was not working properly either so our sink drained very slowly. Shower pressure was fine and I loved the scent of the body wash they had. Breakfast was decent with some pastries, cereal, milk, eggs, bacon, waffles, mixed fruit, coffee and tea. Gym was small and having more than 3 people in there would feel super crowded. It's a mediocre hotel and nothing really stood out to me, but again, for the price we paid for, it was worth it.

My rating is 3.5 stars…read more TL;DR: It was a comfortable, brief stay. The washroom sink's water pressure needed help, as did communication skills with one of the staffers at the front desk. Late last month, I had an early flight out at Pearson. I decided to stay closer to the airport and chose this Four Points by Sheraton in the Meadowvale area of Mississauga. I checked in at around 9 pm on a Friday night. I found a parking spot around the corner from the main entrance. I fetched my lone piece of luggage and my backpack out of my car, and headed inside. I walked past a couple of electric charging stations. It was good to see. I had to wait for a bit at the front desk. There were two women helping other guests. When one of the guests was on his way, the woman who would check me in had an awkward way of signalling me to approach the desk. I had a feeling that she wouldn't be the best communicator. Sadly, I was correct. Gurwinder checked me in after I stated my last name. She simply asked for my credit card. I asked her what was being charged to my card. She quoted how much my hotel stay would be. She didn't tell me the hold for incidentals that would be charged. Meanwhile, her counterpart was explaining the hold and charge to the man next to me. It was like night and day. Gurwinder asked if I wanted points as my check-in bonus. I said yes. If you are a Marriott Bonvoy elite member, you get a perk. Gurwinder gave me a card. I had to ask what it was for. She stumbled explaining it to me. Her counterpart jumped in and said that it was a free tapas at TaZa Grill and Bar, which is the restaurant at this hotel. I thanked both women, grabbed my belongings, and headed to my room. This hotel has eight floors. I took the elevator up to the top. I was in room 801. It was fairly close to the elevator and ice machine, which I typically don't like because it can be noisy. Luckily, it wasn't on this floor. I ended up in an executive suite. Although this room had a mini fridge, microwave, and sink, I didn't use them. I love this setup, though. I'd definitely use it if I were staying here for a longer period. My room had a king-sized bed. It was comfortable with plenty of pillows. I liked that half the pillows were firm. One of them supported my head nicely when I slept for a few hours. I watched a bit of TV. I got local channels, which I appreciated. There was complimentary bottles of water in the bathroom. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The shower had the perfect water pressure. The sink in the washroom did not. It reminded me of being in the women's washroom at Minneapolis-Saint Paul Airport by gate E3. The water pressure is so strong at a specific sink that you get sprayed with water and it looks like you had a bladder accident. It was the same effect with this sink. I liked the shampoo, conditioner, liquid hand soap, body wash, and lotion in the washroom. They were all in dispensers. They smelled clean and cheerful. I didn't bother with hanging up any clothing in the closet. I just had my clothes draped over the chair in front of the TV. There were many charging outlets and USB ports in the room. I was pleased. I did go downstairs to redeem my free tapas at TaZa Grill and Bar. You basically seat yourself. I got small samosas. I purchased a Diet Pepsi to wash everything down. You have the option as a hotel guest to charge your bill to your room or pay. I like options. I checked out of this hotel at 5 am. There was a male guest in pajamas smoking outside the hotel as I headed to my car. I took photos of the hotel as I drove around in my car. Fun! I enjoyed my brief stay at this hotel. I'd return and stay here again. Hopefully, the sink's water pressure is fixed in this room and Gurwinder's communication skills improve. (389)

ROOMS It's clearly an older hotel that's been renovated - two years apparently (during the pandemic). I received a two-queen-bed room. Pros: Modern lighting fixture, clean comfortable beds, sliding drawer that acts as a suitcase stand, large LED TV, easy to use HVAC control, quiet room despite being beside the busy 401 highway. Cons: Towel bar is right beside the toilet (most people don't close the toilet lid, contaminating the bath towels upon flush), no place to hang or dry the hand towel by the sink and a small nit-pick: some may find the closet a little dim lighting-wise. There is no safe in the room, in case that is important for you. === 3. SERVICE Front desk service was OK - on check-in, there was minimal interaction with no explanation on how I could get my food/beverage credit or any confirmation my free Elite points were given. The restaurant service is top-notch: great from recommendations to service to wherever you choose to sit in the entire lobby area. === 4. ALL ELSE The lobby has been renovated and offers a variety of seating choices for groups large and small. Two computers are available for guest use, presumably to print airline boarding passes and the like. There is a small 24/7 market/stand offering primarily drinks, ice cream, frozen food and chips (nothing healthy) - but good in a pinch. The lobby restaurant offers a number of dishes for all hours of the day up until 10pm; however, the competition in nearby hotels offer much better value, especially for breakfast. There is plenty of parking out front; however, it is shared with the other hotel property out front also.

We thought maybe it was just some smell and opened the slider and turned on the air to air the room out as we left for dinner . We came back and the room was not any better. Anyone who came into the room immediately noticed. We contacted the front desk and they sent someone from housekeeping to spray it down but once the spray wore off it was very pungent. The front desk stated they were sold out and did not have any rooms available to change us to. We let them know to please change our room in the morning once they have rooms available. In the morning I went to the front desk and they said they were sold out again but they had rooms that checked out as I heard them talking about it. The front desk agent was absolutely the rudest CS rep I've ever had at a hotel. She said she would call me this was at 9am. We got ready and I had gone back down around 11 and she seemed annoyed that I am even bringing this up again. She shrugged me off again and said she would call. No call ever came I went back down around 12:30 and sat there telling her I would wait because we needed to change rooms before we left for the day and this was already delaying us. She gave me attitude about not having rooms and that's when I asked for a manager after sitting down there for an hour. The housekeeping manager was nice she came up to the room and agreed it smells horrible. It took another hour of me sitting around the lobby and they finally changed my room but to one without a sofa bed but at that point we would have to make it work. They wasted HOURS of my time along with the attitude instead of being apologetic. On top of all that this hotel was under renovation outside and they started with extremely loud construction work early in the morning. I filed a complaint and they gave me 5000 points which is equivalent to maybe $15. I would highly recommend against staying at this hotel. 2 vehicles from our wedding party were also stolen out of the parking lot. Bad managent and honestly the hotel is way overdue for a refresh
