    1 Bedroom Living room
    Derek S.

Stayed here a few nights in their 1 bedroom apartment and it was a decent experience. Booked direct and our apartment was ready upon arrival. The property seems to have been continually refreshed and looks good from far away. The property itself could use a deep cleaning. The kitchen cabinets were pretty loose, there were some mysterious stains on the bathroom walls along with the floors... 24 hours prior to arrival, I was able to select an apartment although there was no floor plan to choose an apartment from which was odd, especially when booking direct with Hilton. The 5 storey Warden tower appears to be mainly for the apartments with a full kitchen whereas the main tower appears to be for suites without a full kitchen. There is a crossover on level 3 from the main tower which equates to level 5 in the Warden tower. Parking is $10/day with a "registration" at the front desk. I didn't see any tickets for any of the residents, guests, or employees. There was a coin Laundry room and ice machine next to the elevator on our floor. There was only 1 washer and 1 dryer in the laundry room which was a paid machine. The apartment itself was spacious although there was a limited amount of cooking equipment. Dishwashing capsules were provided in the drawers although there was no manual dish washing liquid. The TV had numerous premium US business channels. The air conditioner worked well and kept the apartment at the desired temperature. The bathroom was pleasant with a collection of face, hand, and body towels. Soap, lotion, body wash, and conditioners were all attached to the wall. Water pressure in the shower was great although there was no handheld option. Housekeeping was "by request only". Called down to the front desk and they informed me that I can request additional towels if needed but daily housekeeping wasn't an option... A touch odd that a full service Hilton property doesn't have a daily housekeeping option... The bed itself was on the smaller side as a full. The mattress was soft with a super soft pillowtop. The sheets were of great quality. The restaurant in the lobby had a decent breakfast. Ordered their smoked salmon eggs Benedict and it was a great portion although the tater tots appeared to be frozen and the smoked salmon may have been topped with a ton of preservatives. Checkout was also super easy via the Hilton app. Received a pre folio the last night and a final folio after checking out.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at this hotel.  It's located in the Markham suburb of Toronto and near many Asian eateries (within about 10 minutes drive) which was the target of our stay.  It used to be an Embassy Suites and those familiar know that that means very spacious two room suites (basically rooms separated by a door and each with a TV), and a large, open, and airy atrium configuration.  The rate for our stay in this quality hotel was very reasonable with an all-in cost of $160.25 CD or $118.70 USD per day. Very importantly, the pillows, bed, and bed coverings are high quality and provided me and the wife with a good night's sleep.  Pillow quality has been lacking at most of the hotels I have been staying at lately, so that was a very welcome aspect.  Room cleaning is every other day and that was plenty fine for us.  My only little knock with the room details was that the soaking tub was on the tall side and even though I'm pretty coordinated, but also old, lol, I as well as the wife had to be careful getting in and out.  Also, there's no free fresh brewed coffee for the guests (though there is the usual unappealing pot in the room), but that's the Hilton style and a whatever on that. If you're driving, there's also a daily parking rate of $10 CD per day.  They have an attractive and welcoming bar in the middle of the atrium.  I had an Old Fashioned one night there and Meriam was my server in the bar and did a delightful and friendly job for us.  Thank you!

The conference rooms are OK, the servers are attentive. Food is so-so. Venue is nice.

Stayed here a Friday- Sunday and really enjoyed my experience here. The hotel was clean and very spacious. I had the bedroom and also a small living room with a couch, two more chairs, and another tv. I wasn't in the hotel much but the evening when I needed to sleep was very quiet. I was on the 7th floor and enjoyed a decent view of the city which at night looked quite nice. Large parking lot with plenty of parking. There is a very large covered parking in front of the of door. The staff here was friendly on all interactions. My app wasn't unlocking my key and the quickly got me reset and was good from there. I wish I would've had more time to enjoy the bar and order food from here as it did look good in passing. Look forward to staying here again as it is close to a lot and a great location.

Checked in at Hilton Markham on 10/22/23. Upon check-in, receptionist Mirza noted to myself and my girlfriend that we had access to the Executive Lounge due to her father being a Hilton Platinum Member. We were even handed a card, how exciting! I even have a picture of it. When going to the lounge with my GFs parents, we were then berated by Food and Beverage Outlets Manager, Frebin. He just kept repeating that we per Hilton Member policy, we would be charged as extra guests. We were never advised this upon check-in. I am not disputing policy. Policy is policy, but the customer service was horrendous and to belittle customers like that in an open space is utterly disrespectful and egregious. He even said he would print out the many pages of the Terms & Agreement for the policy. What type of customer service is that? I've been a Manager myself for over a decade and would never treat a customer as he did. Front Office Supervisor, Michael, also added little to help remedy the situation and just referenced the policy, even though his staff member Mirza noted that he understands the mistake he made. At check-in, Mirza advised that we had access and noting nothing else. No policy or charges were referenced for the fourth member, even though I was standing right there and counted as the fourth member. Disappointing to see this from a Hilton hotel and I will certainly take my business elsewhere going forward. UPDATE: It took me calling the corporate line and them reaching out to them for me, but they did end up waiving the charge. It should've been done in the first place, but is what it is.

I am currently staying at this hotel due to my husband having work in the area. I have been here for about an hour and am already disappointed in the cleanliness of our kitchenette suite. We were first given a regular "suite" which is a living area and a bedroom, but it was so dark and dingy that we decided the $70/night to "upgrade" was worth it. The light and space is definitely better in this room, and they did let us having very early check-in which was kind. However, the furniture is dinged and scratched. The kitchen counter wasn't wiped down properly, and there are mystery stains on the couch. Attention to detail is not housekeeping's strong suit, unfortunately. We have our dog with us, and this hotel is one of the few pet friendly ones in the area, so I guess we're stuck here for the next few days :/ *update* I called guest services and asked if they could send housekeeping back up to the room (I just couldn't stand looking at the grime, and a wet paper towel only cleans so much), and they ended up moving us to an identical room down the hall. While I appreciate the gesture because this room is a tad cleaner, there are still quite a few things that have been overlooked- towel rack pulled out of wall, cracked mirror etc. but I guess I'll just have to deal since we aren't moving again...

Best hotel to stay if you are visiting the Markham area. The suites are spacious and the decor is modern. The executive lounge at the property is one of the better ones I've visited in North America.

    Swimming pool

I'm here because of my business trip. The front desk service is good and nice. And the room is ok too. But why only three star is about the swimming pool. I made a reservation for the next day 8:45 am, but when I went to the swimming pool the guy who work there told me I'm not on the reservation list and without at least a "sorry". Then I made reservation again with the guy on 3:30pm. After I was there, the swimming pool actually is a "kids swimming pool". There is a swimming school use the pool, and the coach is very mean to me. All the guests use only one lane. It's crazy. And the changing room has locker but I have to take the lock by myself?! Who take a lock for a business trip or check-in a hotel? it's ludicrous! Very bad experience about the swimming pool. And the pool is not for adults.

Nice big hotel . Rented a 2 bedroom suite - room kind of dark but good layout fir 2 bedrooms and 2 bath. It doesn't smell fresh though .

I didn't stay at Hilton Suites Hotel overnight... I was here for a wedding banquet and the experience was excellent. The cocktail reception before the actual dinner was nicely done. The services was excellent from the bartender to the wait staffs that walk around with plates of food. The ballroom where the wedding actually held is spacious and the dance floor is huge. The services was though a little lacking as my water was never filled, my wine glass was always empty... I ended up just get a jar of water and bottle of wine and started serving my own table. Food was quite good for a Chinese banquet style... The waiter at least remember to serve me food.... and he gave me a couple of abalone and almost half a lobster... maybe I just have this angry and hungry look! Tons of food! Chocolate fountain! Dessert table! What a Great Wedding!

They do have complimentary coffee, hot water, and tea bags near the front desk; this was a welcomed addition as a snow storm hit during my stay. The small fridge and microwave does come in handy if you are staying a few days. The room was pretty clean and spacious, but the curtains don't close all the way; I normally wouldn't care, but my room was on the second floor and people outside can easily look right into your room. Another annoyance is that it can be difficult to find parking in the evening as the lot isn't that large and spaces in the front are partially taken up by the hotel next door. I like the look of the large glass walls of the shower, but there is a huge design flaw as the swinging door collects splashes and the water starts to leak out onto the bathroom floor. They do provide a towel on the door, so I guess they are aware of this issue. Overall, I did enjoy my stay. The drawbacks weren't serious, and the friendliness of the staff were top notch. I wouldn't mind staying here again in the future.

When I pulled up the the building, I thought they rebranded it as I sworn I've stayed here under a different Marriot brand. I pulled into the back parking lot which you have to register and pay for if you're a guest. There is a parking station out back but don't use that as it's way cheaper staying as a hotel guest. At front desk, they had a pretty decent sized lineup but they got through it pretty quickly. They asked if I checked in and I let them know when they were under a different name. They told me they actually have 2 hotels here which is confusing but confirmed that I had stayed here before. Front desk staff were really nice to me. They let me know that breakfast is included. I headed to my room and got settled. The room I had was pretty bright from all the natural light. The room has a tv, desk and a fridge. Tips: - If you stay 5 nights or more, parking can be credited. - If you are Marriott Bonvoy Gold or higher, the gift can be $10 credit each night in the market - but keep in mind they charge tax in the market when considering pricing :) === 2. ROOMS Having stayed in double Queen and single King rooms: the rooms are updated and comfortable. The beds are decent, the linens in reasonable shape. LED lighting is available from the entrance with the mirrored sliding closet doors to the room and underlit desk area, and around the room which includes a couch, small. fridge and more. The HVAC is centrally controlled, though I found there is a switch on the unit that lets the unit produce only heat or only cold. The windows do not open in any way and the curtains are handy to stop the outdoor heat/cold as well as some of the low-level traffic noise. The bathrooms are fine; the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are available in pumps in the shower, but like may other hotels, there are not nearly enough places to hang a hand towel or bath towel. There is a decent-sized LCD TV though there is no digital TV guide available so get ready to keep flipping :) === 3. COMMON AREAS The lobby is modernized with the ability to print out boarding passes. The restaurant area is nice with a small business centre. The pricing is love-it-or-hate-it like all other Courtyards; might I suggest any one of the nearby eateries? The market beside the front desk has a selection of items but they charge tax and/or it's not complementary unlike some other Marriott properties. There are conference ballrooms downstairs along with a small gym that has free weights and some cardio machines. === 4. SERVICE Service is prompt and professional at the front desk. I had an issue with my latest room where in the desk light tube could not be turned on reliably and the HVAC seemed not to cool. They responded right away, but ultimately couldn't fix the light. But at least they tried, twice. === 5. ENVIRONMENT Overall, it looks like the place was modernized in the last 5-10 years. There is a Chinese chain restaurant and a spa on one end of the building. Parking is a little interesting: it's outside along the edge of the property or it's in old, strangely structured parking garage where it's $6 per night (unless you stay 5 nights in a row).

Hotel staff had twice granted me access to another paying guest's room. Room 203 (Apr 29) -- Final alternative after the Room 212 incident. Had the same sewage odor. Completely unusable. What went wrong: The lobby and pool were under active renovation my entire stay. I wasn't told until one day before arrival, despite booking months in advance. Had I known, I would have stayed elsewhere. The hotel's solution was to bus guests to a nearby Sheraton for pool access -- not acceptable. One elevator was out of service for an extended period. I have a medical condition affecting my knees. Repeatedly climbing multiple flights of stairs was a genuine physical hardship. Renovation appliances including microwaves were stored in the hallways throughout my stay -- a safety hazard and well below any brand standard. On April 27, I was forced to vacate my original suite mid-stay due to a plumbing emergency. Every replacement room offered was a downgrade. At no point was I given a room that matched what I had booked and paid for. Room 201 was placed directly above the active pool construction. On April 28 -- my birthday, the entire reason for this trip -- I was woken at 8:20 AM by loud drilling. Later that same morning, the hotel called to inform me that Room 201's shower, sink, and toilet would be out from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Nearly nine hours without basic water access. Upon returning to the room that evening, there was a sewage smell coming from the bathroom. It was still there the next morning. The Room 212 incident is the most serious failure of this entire stay. Staff directed me to and physically unlocked an occupied guest room -- not once, but twice. This is an egregious breach of guest privacy and safety that should never have been possible under any operational circumstance. When I raised the issue of my 60,000 IHG points used for my April 23-25 reservation, the property manager told me she did not have the authority to process a points refund and directed me to contact IHG corporate. I did exactly that -- and IHG corporate confirmed that she does have that authority. She had the ability to resolve this at the property level and instead chose to send me on a deliberate runaround. That is not a miscommunication. That is a manager using a false claim to avoid accountability. The hotel offered a partial refund of $147.70 against an original charge of $606.92 -- and only before the most serious incidents had even occurred. IHG denied my formal points refund request. Really friendly staff who were both welcoming and helpful…read more Clean hotel. We like coming to the area for good food and the occasional visit to Toronto. This is our first stay at this hotel. Honestly it was a great hotel and we will definitely be coming back. Our room was clean and updated. The breakfast was hot with some variety. It was nice to see the hotel busy with lots of guests and each evening of our stay people hung out in the lobby. Lots of life in the hotel is a good thing! Even with a large number of guests the hotel breakfast was able to keep up with the demand. Parking lot was good. With the heavy plowed piles of snow and the fact that they shared a parking lot meant not as many parking spaces as needed so may need to search for a bit but we still always found one. Other than that no complaints. Our door to our room was funny and the shower made a noise at the start but these things are so minor. We will definitely be back.
