Mauri is absolutely wonderful and welcoming! Just a ray of sunshine. Wesley has been here, different shifts, since we got here, and is helping everyone, and Becky and Melody, they do the breakfast rush! And it is impeccable! They are so happy to accommodate. I can not BELIEVE what a buffet we have had!!! My daughter's room is on the 3rd floor and it is equally nice. The breakfast buffet in the morning is, quite possibly, the BEST and nicest we have seen at a hotel in a LONG time. I can't imagine what else they could do to make it more appealing! The halls are quiet and calm, you can't hear any noise from rooms on either floor. The pool is indoors, and it is clean, doesn't burn your eyes whatsoever, and it doesn't take you out from chemicals when you walk in. The gym is really nice, and I loved having a spot to relax that was just for me. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again. If you are traveling and need a nice, calm, yet fun (pooll and gym) place to stay, I say this is your place! Clean, safe, quiet, without being stiff and rigid, with the best staff at any hotel we have stayed at, in quite a long time.

The sight of us must encouragea few hits... honestly, people, we aren'tthat bad to deal with. Check-in was quick & easy. We were given room 103, ground floor, by the rear exit. This is a favorite door to allow to slam & a gathering spot for smokers or all sorts, meaning that door slammed regularly- day & night. We hooked up a sound machine & that countered the noise enough to sleep well. The bed appeared new & it was comfortable. The pillows were balled tightly in the case, so, if you like flatter or more flexible pillow, just loosen the case. The room was adequately cleaned. We did find an apple watch & charger still there. It appeared to have fallen/ been knocked under the bedside table, which we moved closer to the bed & boom- there it was. Temperature control, water pressure & water temps were all good. The fridge was COLD- not cool, COLD. At roughly $60/ni, we were pleased with the room. They also charged the card correctly, with the room charge as a hard charge & the incidentals on a separate hold, which is nice. Breakfast here was a waffle maker, boiled eggs, yogurts, assorted breads, hot/cold cereal & hostess donut packs. On the weekday, there was also fruit.

Can't beat the price. The room was clean and the art work is always pleasant at Super 8 properties…read more There was a slight odor of weed upon entry but no odors in the room itself. The breakfast is basically a quick start with having only minimal food options. Hard boiled eggs, yogurt, bread, packs of little powered sugar and chocolate donuts, cereal and 1 waffle griddle. I did find an Apple watch in the room while moving back an end table by the bed. Hopefully the watch finds its owner. I do wish the bed had regular sized pillows. There was only 3 small pillows on the bed. The end tables had plenty of power outlets and usb ports.

The price may look enticing but don't be fooled. Spend the extra $50 a night and stay elsewhere…read more This place is extremely rundown. The A/C can't keep up and even on a mild summer day the rooms feel humid. The bedding is questionable at best. Our TV was cracked. But worst of all, the walls are paper thin and the guests around you are likely to be incredibly loud and inconsiderate. The room above obviously had kids jumping around all day/night. The guests next to us had the TV volume up to 100. So while we had a place to crash, we didn't get a good night's sleep. The breakfast had potential but everything is hand-bagged or repackaged in the "kitchen" including the bagels, bread, cream cheese, butter, etc. Also had eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles but didn't try them based on the condition of the kitchen which is visible beyond a thin curtain.

I informed the desk when booking that I'm going to a funeral. Told the desk same thing when checking in. No one said that I can't leave dogs in their kennels for a couple of hours. 2 designated pet rooms at the back door are at the busiest area of the motel, by a door that BANGS BANGS BANGS constantly all day and overnight, waking us and our dogs all night. Halfway through the funeral I'm called to come back and sit in the room with them. So I did and apologized. Staff said customers complained about barking but I was called at 2pm, no one checking in or out at that time... And when I returned there was 1 car in the parking lot (?) The exterior doors are left unlocked all night long, informed the desk staff who says it's per owners instructions and says it's 'safe' there (?). There are people laughing, yelling, dragging rolling carts over a high threshold at the back exterior door which bangs all night long. I asked for a copy of the pet policy but desk woman couldn't produced it and didn't email it to me as promised. The motel is clean, a little outdated but otherwise not bad. The front desk is never staffed, must ring a bell, okay. I might stay here again, IDK, charges were reasonable but definitely won't bring my dogs and will never agree to stay in a room by the back door. BTW I cleaned up all the yard areas after the previous dogs (why do some ruin it for everyone?), and the courtyard area where other guests left trash.

Driving up to this location, I was shocked. I've probably driven by here hundreds of times, but I've never stayed here. The property is not well lit at night, but it is Maryville so it is quiet. Walking into the main "lobby" to check-in I was greeted by this nice older gentlemen and the strong smell of dinner cooking. It was curry, which I love. I learned from the gentleman that this is not only a local, family owned establishment, but that the family lives upstairs! It was nice to chat with them as I checked in. The room I reserved was a single king bed, and a smoke free room. As soon as I opened the door, the smell of must and cigarettes hit me strongly. I bought one of those odor absorbent air fresheners to help. Regardless of that smell, the room was quite clean, albeit cheaply made. The bed was comfortable enough. The room didn't come with any amenities. There is no gym, no pool, no bar, and no breakfast (continental or otherwise.) However, they do allow people travelling with pets. There are TONS of different improvements I'd like to see at this location, including some basic aesthetics. If all you're looking for is a quiet place to lay your head at night, then this might be the place. Forewarn, I did feel the stay is a bit overpriced in comparison to similar motels. You can pay less for something like Motel 6. Some suggestions I have for this Inn, which I desperately hope will begin to thrive, are as follows. Offer breakfast! Whether you decide to do a standard continental breakfast buffet, offer pastries and fruit, or make some homemade food from family recipes, offering a morning snack is nice touch for your guests! A smoke free room should be as such. Make sure those rooms do not smell, as smell indicates the residue from tobacco hasn't really left. Redecorating! Your lobby is not welcoming. Some matching furniture, design, repainting, etc. Basic improvements in the rooms.
