Great location, value, and vibe. Would definitely stay here again when I'm in Stuttgart.

They staff are polite, helpful and friendly. Rooms are small, in the typical European style. Beds are narrow "single" beds that can be pushed together to form a double. There isn't a lot of space for open suitcases in their standard rooms unless you get a single room (which is a lot like a dorm room) or the larger "suite" which has a couch and a sitting area (also his and hers sinks in the bathroom, a stand-up shower and also a bathtub!). When you check in you are given a hotel "passport" which you show to the desk clerk each time you return to the hotel and they give you back your hotel key. The key is a big heavy metal security key on a heavy key fob so it's not fun to carry around, and this way if you are sharing rooms your roommates know if someone is in the room or not. The elevator is tiny and slow - but at least there is one. Other than checking in and out with my big luggage, I used the stairs every other time because it wasn't worth waiting for the elevator. The breakfast here was wonderful. I would stay here if only to have their breakfasts - the hot chocolate is fabulous!

As of writing this review they have 3.5 stars but I would give the hotel 4 stars at least. This…read morewas one of the few times where they did not speak english as well as we would have liked. This does not bother me at all, since when Europeans come to the USA, they really must speak english. If you think about that it's very true. We asked the girl at the front desk where we may find a gas station and she ran off and got us the luggage cart and stood next to the elevator waiting for us. The parking lot is very tiny here so I am guessing not many guests have a car and a gas station is not close by but we did manage to fill the tank and return the car before moving on to Paris. Except for that funny story all was good. Yes, free breakfast and free wifi with convenient location for the train. - 4 stars recommended.

It's not only for early trains out of Stuttgart, it's exceptionally close to everything you'd want to do in downtown Stuttgart and, it's attached to a mall? I question that because I'm certain (almost) that it was attached to a mall but it was a holiday so I'm not 100%. Speaking of holiday, I was pretty bummed that the bar wasn't open as even when I've visited other hotels on holidays, the bar and/or restaurant has been open. Despite that, a 5 star experience as the staff was awesome! Got a beer on the house due to the bar being closed and they even wished my wife a happy birthday. The room was wonderful. Aloft hotels are relatively newer from Marriott so I wasn't surprised but it was a great short stay. Check-in and check-out was seamless.

This Aloft is not my favorite. The hotel is all about location. Very central to downtown and…read moreadjacent to a mall. It's challenging, unless you are familiar with hotel to know how to get into the hotel. The fri t has a small pull over area, then you have to take the elevator up to the lobby. The pullover area is tight and you may be stuck there for awhile until others come back to their car. We were not provided an upgrade as an ambassador. Our room feature two tiny beds: perhaps twin size. Limited floor space. Also the room had a small shower space. The view was of another building. We were provide drink tickets when we checked in. The cocktails provided to us were horrible. Was there any alcohol, Breakfast was just ok. There was a wide selection but a lot of the food was poor quality, bland, or something you just didn't want to eat. The best part of the hotel was the friendly front desk staff. Plus hotel offered washing machines. Parking is available under the hotel for a high view that is slightly discounted by hotel.
