I purchased the 9 hours of deep cleaning special and was very pleased with the results. Pros: My cleaning team showed up on time with a text that they were on their way before arrival. The three ladies who showed up got right to work and worked hard until they completed. They changed sheets on the beds I left clean linens on, they wiped all the door frames, door surfaces and picture frames. They removed all the items off shelves and wiped them and the shelf down. Books were removed from book shelves, wiped and returned after the book case was cleaned. Whatever they used to clean the granite counter tops in the kitchen was amazing and left them super shiny. Cons: I didn't see what they used to clean my wood surfaces, but I would have liked to have seen an orange oil used to preserve the wood, but they didn't harm the wood by any means. Also, some things were moved around after cleaning, like the way books are arranged on the shelves, placement of trash cans and soap dispensers in the bathroom. Overall I was very pleased with the results and the team actually had to stay slightly longer than the time I paid for to complete the tasks. I really liked some of the nice touches, especially the decorative toilet paper folds on the end, resort style folding of towels in the bathrooms and the swept off front porch. read more

I've asked for their services 2 times. Every time they come they have exceeded our expectations. I have used quite a few home cleaning services partly because my wife thinks I'm a horrible cleaner and mostly because I'm lazy. I will say this is the best and as long as I live in Tucson I will only use them. The service on the phone is fantastic and paying them is easy as well. I'm so sad to have to write this review. We used MEM about two years ago to do a deep clean of the house we just moved into. Was so happy with the crew that came in, and the fact they didn't use chemicals. After having a second baby, we brought them in on a monthly basis. This time around it was a new crew, but they were also always so nice and did a good job. However, on their last visit, one of the crew members broke my mothers antique ring dish. I heard her drop it but figured it didn't break. After they left, I went into the bathroom and it was gone. So I checked under the sink and didn't see it there. I called the company and they asked me to check under the sink again since the crew puts breakables there to prevent damage. I gave it another check and this time I found the ring dish, broken in two, hidden under towels. I called the company back and they were very apologetic. However, it was the principal that the crew member should have let me know she broke it. I later received a call back from the company, saying they spoke to the crew member and she said she didn't break it. But we knew that wasn't the truth. We were sad to let MEM go but if there was honesty and transparency we would have gladly kept them on. read more

This company left me completely in a lurch when I had scheduled a cleaning prior to visitors coming for the holidays. Although they tried to be upbeat on the phone (personnel in California) they ultimately did not satisfy my needs and the cleaning crew continued to delay my appointment. Two hours and fifteen minutes late coincided with the arrival of my guests. Reasons cited for the delay were that one employee had a death in the family. And the cleaning crew stayed at the job before mine to finish the job. Which meant my appointment was forfeited. I would not recommend. Poor business model in a time when their commitment was really important. read more

We've used this fine cleaning service twice now, both times for a one-off deep cleaning of our two bedroom, two bath home. Simply put, they are awesome. The cleaners are methodical and thorough, work quickly but without missing anything. They touch and wipe everything down with clean rags, unlike services we have used in the past who simply cleaned around items and knicknacks or used feather dusters that just spread the dust around. Granite counter tops and stainless cooktops are spotless and shining. I can't recommend them highly enough. read more

I had the MEM clean a rental for me a few weeks ago and they did and excellent job. During our walk thru I noticed I was going to have do some painting down the hall and in the master. Three people working hard at the same time makes quick work of an empty house -- great! The job was completed faster than I'd anticipated. As we walked the home I noticed that the rooms I thought would need paint were clean and in near perfect condition. The fridge/freezer was spotless, the oven cleaned the baseboards wiped down, closet shelves too. they missed one skylight lense but other than that they did an excellent and thorough job. 4.5 stars! read more

I should have written this review a year ago! Don't you just hate procrastinators? The job I hired them for was on June 5, 2015! My opinion hasn't changed though, I am so happy I called them. From the minute I first spoke to them explaining how I wanted to give a friend a gift of a thorough housecleaning I was completely satisfied with Mother Earth Maids. It took them 10 hours to clean 2 1/2 bathrooms and a kitchen in a 1600 s.f. house. My current cleaning person did this same task for $120 for 2 hours of work. This company is not transparent with fees and gives false accusations as to the service that was provided. Stay away. read more

We are in phoenix az area. Shitty. From what i can see in the negative reviews, their go to defense is 'confusion', which is the bs they threw at us when they decided to charge more money. At first they were friendly and we had come to the agreement of $145 a month for cleaning twice a month. They charged accordingly the first month and we were happy with the service. The 4th time they came to clean they did a shitty job. They put away dirty dishes and left toothbrushes in the toilet room (master separate from shower) and left a ripped diaper pail bag that led to smell seeping out of the pail. I was going to bring it up to the cleaners themselves on the following visit, but before that we were contacted by management that they were gona charge us for the visits we hadn't been charged for (???). Before we even agreed to the routine cleaning, we were very specific in our questioning and were reassured that the amount was for 2 cleanings a month. We would never agree to $145 for the cleaners to be there for an hour or 2 per visit. They're response was there must have been confusion, and refuse to match the agreement for past service or provide refund for overcharging. Needless to say, we won't be recommending them anymore (because we did in the beginning). read more

A friend of mine recommended Mother Earth Maids to me when I needed someone to deep clean the house once a month after my precious wife who was one of the most fastidious housekeepers in the world died suddenly a few months ago. They did an absolutely fantastic and detailed job through the entire house in just 3 hours. There were 3 ladies on the team and they were amazingly detailed and thorough. I am now going to have them come monthly and maybe even twice a month if needed. So far I can highly recommend their attention to detail and thoroughness. read more

Extremely disappointed. We booked them for our move out cleaning from a rental home and when I went to inspect what they had done, I was very confused. They did not clean out a single drawer, cabinet, nothing! We had to spend hours there cleaning what they didn't. Will never recommend in the future! read more

THIS TURNED OUT TO BE A RIP OFF. I tried an groupon and had to wait over 40 minutes. Then the guy was useless, i guess they think they can just say stupid repetitive stuff and that you will give up. The coupon was for 4 hours of house cleaning, but not having noticed the small print that was only for cleaning a place up to 700sq ft, it was 8 man hours for up to 1500 sq ft and over 1500 ten man hours. So for a tiny 1 bedroom apartment they need four hours. For a small house(By the way this is different size if it is not groupon(It goes up to 1800sq ft0(Massive house!!!!!!) and for over 1800 they need 10 MAN HOURS. There is absolutely NO SAVING HERE, you can get your house cleaned for a lot less than that! Groupon don't bother doing coupons if you are only out to use services that are ripping people off. Why does Mother Earth need twice as much time as other cleaning companies!!!!!!!!!!!????????? Perhaps they want to charge twice as much! read more

Mother Earth exceeded our expectations - they cleaned spots in our home that we had never considered and they were sure to touch on places that we requested. We just went through a roof replacement so there was dust and debris in every corner, but after the Mother Earth crew came through, you couldn't even tell that work had been done. They were also super easy to communicate with and were very accommodating with a last minute schedule change. Can't wait to use them again! read more

They seemed a good fit, they are based on Orange County CA where I live and I was having my moms house in Tucson cleaned. She and I have the same size house, mine normally takes about 6 hours of cleaning but I knew hers would need much more work as she is elderly and has health issues so it hasn't been cleaned well in awhile. They failed to show up to their first appointment and when she contacted them they claimed to have lost her information. They were late to their rescheduled appointment. I had paid for the 9 hours of cleaning and my mom called in a panic when they had only finished about 1/3 of the house after about 7 hours. She said they were working EXTREMELY slow. They called me on the phone and demanded a lot more money. I told them just to finish what they could with the time they had left and I would take care of the rest myself. They conned my brother, who was visiting, into paying an additional $120 for them to finish. I visited her house 5 days after the work was done and noticed a lot of areas that had not been cleaned. My mom claimed that they refused to clean a greasy area in front of her stove (which I ended up doing myself in less than 3 minutes), however they made time to fold the towels in the bathrooms into nice displays, totally wasted time. I re-vacuumed and steam mopped her floors and was shocked at how much dirt still existed. And to add insult to injury, they broke a couple of knick-knacks and just threw them into the trash without telling her. The end result was $300 paid for a poor job. I have left two messages for the owner to complain but they have not returned my call. read more
