The final straw was when the crew of two, who were supposed to work for 2 hours (4 person-hours of work) stopped early after working for only 1 hr and 45 minutes. That shorted us by 30 person-minutes of work, yet they insisted we pay them for 2 full hours of work! So we terminated our agreement with them and we're now working to find another more reliable, responsible cleaning service.

I hired Amie's Cleaning for…read morea standard cleaning and was promised that my floors, kitchen, and bathrooms would be thoroughly done. Unfortunately, when I got home, I found that the floors hadn't been vacuumed or mopped, and there was still dirt and gunk left in places like the refrigerator handle and backsplashes and cupboards (which they guarantee in the standard clean). It was easily the worst clean I've ever had, especially given that I paid $155. I had clearly communicated that the floors were my top priority. I was also told that if I didn't want a deep clean (which was $235 and not necessary because I had one done recently), they would still handle the basics thoroughly. Instead, I came home to half-done bathrooms, a kitchen where items were knocked over and not put back, and a generally careless job. To add to that, they advertise a $100 discount, but it turned out to be spread over multiple sessions as small increments, which felt misleading. And when I brought up my disappointment about the job not being finished, the owner basically blamed me for not choosing the more expensive option instead of addressing the poor quality of the clean I did pay for. I'm sharing this so others can be aware. I was willing to be flexible if the job had been done reasonably well, but this was a really disappointing and surprising experience. I trusted them too much. And now am cleaning today when I don't have the time during the holidays. And Amie did not honor the 100% guarantee, instead she offered to cancel my recurring subscription I had signed up for. Here's the thing I feel most burned by. I was very clear about the floors. I offered that they skip many things offered in the standard clean like the ceiling fans that I didn't need to put a focus on that. I asked, will I be mopping afterwards. She said NO. On this I agreed to the contract and went forward. Two women here for 2 hours and mostly 2 bathrooms and some kitchen done? The owner was very rude to us. They said they told us this was required when ordered, but they did not. Then when they missed areas to be cleaned, it was very difficult to point those areas out as none of the workers spoke English. Be cautious and make sure you understand and are comfortable giving credit card info prior to any work being done. Very suspicious on their hiring and business practices.

The first time I spent over $1000 and received a less than adequate job. The second time I told my agent that the house I purchased was not left clean by the seller, and I would like it cleaned. He arranged master clean to do the work. I have left two photographs showing how they left the stovetop and master bathroom tub/shower. As you can see they did a terrible job. I went over on a Saturday and spent 3 hours redoing the work. I was able to get both the stovetop and bathroom spotless. Needless to say I will not be using Master Clean anymore.
