    Heard there was a free class on May 5th so you know I had to go. First time here, but I've been to their place in Glendale which I really liked. Same look. Free parking. Street parking also available. I like how clean the studio is. The machines are spaced out nicely. My daughter and I haven't worked out on these machines in awhile, so we were hoping to get a quick review when we got there early, but the instructor didn't ask/approach anyone who came early. Good thing we figured it out after awhile, but the frustration was REAL!! We did a lot of staring at the pros before we really got the hang of it. Even with the bad start, we still got a good workout. Muscles we haven't used in awhile were sore which was great.

    My experience here has been nothing but 5-star. Specifically, instructors Charlene and Cereza are top notch and provide excellent coaching and instruction for Lagree beginners like myself. The workout itself is 45 minutes with little breaks. And the focus tends to be leg, core/abs, glute heavy and quite literally left me sore for days!! There is nothing I've done previously that prepared me for this type of workout with a Megaformer machine. Nothing!! The coached workouts here are a nice mix of static holds, resistance, compound and micro movements. I would highly recommend this spot, especially for dudes, who want to throw in some serious muscle and workout confusion into their fitness routine. Lagree is awesome and this studio certainly does it right.

It's slow, controlled, focused movement that hits deep muscles. You walk out feeling taller, tighter, and strong instead of just sweaty. Perfect for toning, posture, and that sculpted look. I respect studio policies, but the way the situation was handled immediately created an uncomfortable atmosphere. Unfortunately, the class itself was equally disappointing. The pace was extremely slow, there were long pauses between exercises, and much of the session felt like resting rather than working out. At one point, a participant actually put on a sweatshirt during class because the workout was so low intensity. To make matters worse, the class ended about four minutes early despite already feeling far less active than a typical Pilates session. What bothered me most was the complete lack of engagement. Lola never corrected my form, never checked my technique, never interacted with me, and made no effort to create a welcoming environment after our initial disagreement. I spent 45 minutes feeling ignored. Not even a simple goodbye when I left. I've taken many Pilates classes, and this was the first time I walked out feeling unwelcome, underworked, and disappointed all at once.

    It is astonishing at how much improvement I have had and how quick it was…read more I had some old and newer injuries that affected balance, movement, walking, knee pain, lower back, hip, etc. It wasn't just that Zonnie knew the exercises that were correct, she knew exactly how to do them, what exact position, and what muscles to activate. She is keenly present from moment to moment observing, correcting, and controlling, and is a very competent, pleasant, and calming presence. Then there is a different way of breathing, standing, balancing, and operating one's body in day-to-day life, the training along with the exercises to activate the appropriate muscles. The improvement in my balance is huge, I was frequently tripping or bumping into things - no more. I love to stand up paddleboard, now my balance has improved so that I can paddle on rougher ocean water. I like hiking again - it had become tiring due to injuries. There are side benefits associated with the core exercises and breathing technique that has improved certain common difficulties associated with males of a certain age. Better sleep etc. My knee, lower back and hip pain seem to be in the past as well. It's a lot more fun to do the day-to-day stuff.
