Absolutely make sure you allow for a LOT of time, especially if you're there on a weekend, or in the morning. That parking lot is a fright! But this is a gem of a YMCA. I went to OrangeTheory and had the best workout of my life. I see some reviews complaining about this gym, their policies and how unfairly they feel they have been treated. I never experienced this the 6 years I've been a member. The complaints are sad and disappointing, considering the place is a studio that prides itself on heart health and fat burning, without these policies of late cancels, injuries can occur. I did experience a bunch of entitled Karen's as well as great people in the studio. We all have one goal- our health. The employees are doing their jobs and they are great at it, the last thing they need is a complaint about a fee or a treadmill they couldn't run on. I've been to many studios and the policy is they don't reserve spaces - that service is a courtesy at this location and somehow that is still a problem! Anyway, I will continue to go to my classes at many locations for as long as I can. Keep up the good work!

The studio has a tight knit community and there are some of the best coaches around...BUT it saddens me to say the studio has been in a downward spiral of neglect. There are machines that are consistently broken, tablets that randomly shut off, the equipment is worn, weights are chipped, dust bunnies live behind the weight racks, walls need repairs etc. We are the smallest studio - only 10 stations - it is tight on the floor- and it feels like we are gravely neglected by the owner. We, the members, take great pride in being an OTF devotee, but it is to the point people I care about are cancelling their membership to go to the Pilates studio next door or some other exercise outlet. This shouldn't be. We have tried to appeal to the franchise owner to take pride in the facility and uphold the standard of the brand - but as I was once told by one of the managers "we are overflow studio" so it seems our requests fall on deaf ears. Do better! Show the dedicated members the experience that is commensurate with the high dues we pay to attend the class. I look forward to changing the review to celebrate fixes that I hope will be coming.

This place is dirty, bathrooms don't work, employees don't communicate about the details of signing up, and machines are broken half the time. Literally this gym sells nothing but ambiance and aesthetic. Recently spoke with Liz about canceling my membership. I was offered a discount for the following months & declined. Person at the front desk walked me through the process of canceling my membership online to only be told afterwards that my buddy pass was in a 12 month contract & i'd be paying for it until next February, which was never communicated with me. Now there's no main membership with an active buddy pass that I have to continue paying for without being able to utilize it! How does that even make sense? Scammers all the way around. I'll be causing hell until my buddy pass contract is cancelled.

The room gets so hot and we're not even in the dead of summer yet. I'm not sure if A/C is limited or what's going on with the ventilation. Also, the layout of the space is narrow but long. Machines are spread out with enough space in between each other, but they're basically stacked vertically (one behind another for a few rows). It does seem to be the most space-conscious arrangement for what they are working with, but it's hard to follow if you're all the way in the back and the instructor is demo'ing a new move or if the instructor is newer or not superbly clear throughout class. If this studio location is close to you, do NOT skip on Motivate! Bring grip socks (if you don't want to buy them there) and be on time. If you're early, check out the boutiques and mom-in-pops along Honolulu Avenue. Choose a machine in or near the front unless you're a regular.
