I did not originally want a videographer for our wedding but I am so glad my wife insisted on it. John was great to work from the pre-event planning stages up to the wedding day itself. The films are amazing and our guests and family are just as excited as we were viewing them. The day goes by so fast it is great to have these majestic videos to watch and relive our special day together. Five-Stars, especially if your venue is the Mission Inn in Riverside.

Anyway, I was planning a graduation party after I graduated with my masters in anesthesia. It was a fake "graduation party" but really an engagement party. I had it at the art museum in riverside and used the graduation party as a front to propose to my now fiancé. I hired godfather films to do the recording at the event. Initial meetings went well with the head of the company (I forgot his name, I think John). I explained what I wanted and had good input from them and thought everything was set. I met with the person actually filming that night and again went over the plan. The night was amazing, had a great time. When it was time to receive the footage, we were given DVDs with the WORST coverage I have ever seen. It was like my little sister was filming with a GoPro. The camera was constantly blocked by people, their elbows, their backs. The zoom was used in the wrong places so we were seeing people's nostrils. I can't express how terrible this was. And it was raw footage that didn't even cover the whole time. We were told were getting a video as well as raw footage. When we confronted the owner about this, he refused to fix it or give us any money back. Aside from the DVD, the footage was horrible. My friend edits videos and he asked me to ask the company for hard copies so he could put a DVD video for us to recap the night. We asked and we were sent VHS mini tape copies. My friend looked at me and said no one uses these anymore, they are extinct. In an effort to receive DVD copies, it became a hassle. Once we did get the DVD copies, we didn't even get all of the footage promised to us. How frustrating. Needless to say, my friend took that piece of garbage we received and was able to edit it into a very special video for us, even with the poor footage and terrible quality. i will NEVER EVER EVER use them again, and in fact I complain to everyone I know about them. The owner is very removed from the practice, as well as very unfair. They provided a service which was not promised and extremely subpar, and refused to help rectify the situation at all. Henry spent a lot of time prior to the wedding working with me to make sure we could achieve what I wanted. I had a themed wedding with dark club lighting and Henry's cameras looked great. All of the footage is crisp and clear and has great movement. He also had the audio perfectly recorded ensuring that I had a mic on my clothes at all times and recoded from the venues sound board anything that was said into a microphone. The sound files are totally clear and perfectly leveled. They captured all of the key moments and did an amazing job capturing the dealings and emotions of the night. My wife told me after the wedding she felt totally comfortable having Henry in the room with her and her girls as they got ready. His second shooter was with me and my guys and had a lot of great shot ideas for us. Henry worked great with our photographer to helped to come up with amazing first look photo and video ideas as we shot them. Henry also saved the day when our second photographer fell through a week before. We were able to add one of Henry's photographers. I only asked for him to shoot three specific things but he came through and went above and beyond capturing so many extra shots we did not even think to ask for and are so happy we now have. It was very generous of Henry to bring this photographer onboard for a very fair rate and have him shoot extra pictures above what we had asked for. I feel Henry's packages are very fairly priced. For the amount of prep time you get with Henry and quality and skill of his team I felt the quality of the product was far greater than the price point. All in all. Henry is professional, fun to work with, flexible and his crew well organized. The entire night he had cameras covering all of the events. I was completely confident nothing was missed. My footage was delivered on a hard drive and looking through It all I am so thankful for Henry and his entire team.

In a search for a great…read morevideographer for my wedding, I was extremely fortunate to be introduced to Penny and her crew through a mutual friend. A few months before the wedding, we met with Penny at a pizza shop and instantly I knew she would be awesome. She was extremely attentive and very accommodating!! She had a detailed questionnaire that we filled out so that she knew exactly what we wanted. And not only did she provide video, but also an amazing Photo Booth!!! She created a template that matched our wedding perfectly and made sure that everything was ready for the big day! During the wedding, her crew was impeccable!! With a total of 5 staff including herself, they all worked so hard to ensure that my wedding was perfect! I saw a drone in the sky, and guys running around with smiles on their faces holding cameras, and props being set up all without me having to do a singe thing! But I must emphasize that not only did Penny provide great service during the wedding, but also after as she edited the hours and hours of video footage to create a heartfelt "Wedding Highlights" clip for us! My goodness, she slaved away with not only 1 edit, but 4 edits to ensure that the video was to my utmost approval and that I absolutely loved the clip!! I was so amazed at her diligence and willingness to ensure a happy product. And from start to finish, I could not be more pleased with the work of Foreground Studios. I highly recommend Penny and Foreground Studios to anyone looking for the best crew for their event! And I will absolutely use them again for any event I have in the future! We met with Penny about a month before so we could discuss our preferences and she could give us some tips on photo shoot sites, the best colors to wear etc. The whole process was stress free and we had a great time shooting at the Balboa Park in San Diego. Penny and her team of photographers (Chris Lee & Issac Chan) were great and easy to work with. All of the pictures turned out beautiful and we will be using them for our save the dates, wedding guest book and pictures around the house. I highly recommend the team.
