This trip ended the…read moreseparation, loss and wonder of what happened to 2 sisters that were separated in 1922 following the untimely death of their mother who was only 35y. This reunion allowed me to connect with long lost family that had been apart nearly 100 years! Through the help of DNA and genealogy work I have discovered so many interesting connections and the little footprints and breadcrumbs left by my relatives for someone later on down the road to find... Finding Jim at the Leesport Market was a blessing! He brought both portraits and small snapshots to life again! Meeting my lost family I was able to see (pictures for the first time EVER) of my Great Grandmother's face, they also had several never before seen photos of my Grandmother when she was young along with her long lost sister, aunts and other family... Jim you are such a kind, honest and talented man... Thank you for sharing your gift with my family and others! The condition of my photos were a mix including the following issues: - Some were torn, discolored, faded, becoming brittle to touch- I was happy to see new life brought back into these photos with natural color enhancements added to some. - Some photos were very small snapshots that were hard to identify the faces due to size and age - we were so excited to see these made into regular size 4x6 and 5x7 photos and see the cute details such as a flower being held in my grandmothers mouth - Other photo challenges was the balance between light/dark this made it hard to focus in on the faces of in the photo- I loved that Jim was able to correct the lighting/contrast of the photos and keep everything looking natural, if not better than the original. All of my photos were over 100+ years old and these will now be able to be enjoyed for years and years to come! I still get goosebumps looking at these photos! They are priceless and mean more to me than any other possession. The care and appreciation for restoring family history is beyond measure! All I can say is GO SEE JIM! He will not disappoint and you will be forever thankful you did for generations to come! You are now our families "go to guy"! With the deepest heartfelt thanks! Christine & Family

Such a great wedding product and experience. As a career DJ and entertainer, I have worked with…read morecountless photographers over the decades, so when it came time for my own wedding, I went to my top choices of photographers to see what they had to offer and ultimately, determine what fit us best. Criteria included engagement photos, enough time to cover the wedding day, a personality that fit ours and what packages included. I had met Kevin DJing various events going back to 2006, so I knew personality was good for me in my book and wanted my fiancée to approve as well. We felt that Kevin has the perfect mix of creativity, value, flexibility, and a package that was exactly what we needed. Both my fiancée and I are not exactly photogenic; especially me! I explained my concerns to Kevin about feeling uncomfortable and awkward doing odd poses and the like. He assured me that if I didn't feel comfortable, we could change things and also took into account what our ideas were and what we saw in photos we didn't like as well. I can honestly say he had me relaxed and having fun which was very apparent when he caught my fiancée and I laughing or goofing around and he would get the perfect candid shot without us knowing. He is always ready for that moment! One item I really learned from this experience being on the other side of the wedding market was how important it is for you to have the same photographer shoot your engagement photos as wedding day. Kevin suggested St. Peters Village based on our preferences for an engagement shoot. My fiancée and I choose vibrant colors for attire as the backdrop was fall foliage. Amazing outcome. The raw photos looked great and the engagement book was phenomenal. My family was shocked how I looked (I tend to look nervous in photos) and how Kevin used lighting, angles, and focus to create amazing shots. Since Kevin was able to practice with us at engagement, when it came time for the wedding, he had a great starting point and was able to hone in securing the best shots. For our actual wedding book, we chose roughly forty photos. I can best describe Kevin's skill this way: Our photos were great but essentially forty mixed up puzzle pieces. Kevin arranged them artistically in the book into a big picture that told the story of our perfect wedding day. The wedding industry is truly an industry where you get what you pay for and Kevin is on point and top of the game. Once you meet with him or speak with him over the phone, you will see he has the vibe you will want at your wedding. Work with him and your memories will be preserved for a lifetime. The best part of paging through the end product is seeing all the nuances you missed on your wedding day as it's so hectic. My wife, family, and I were smiling and laughing the whole time! I was so pleased, I just hired Kevin back for newborn photos of my son. Super impressive job there too!

My black poodle had heart disease, and the vet didn't give him much time, and my sweet girl dragon was also on limited time. I enjoyed the photo shoot with my two dogs and two dragons, simply spending time with my family. My poodle passed away four months after the session, but now I have professional photos of him displayed all around my home with his little brother and reptile siblings. Thank you, Willow Street, for capturing my special family--especially my black poodle, who will live forever on my mantle.

If you are running an auction and are offered one of their sessions as a donation PLEASE do not accept. My parents in law bid on the family portrait session with the understanding that we would only receive one free desktop picture, however their prices for additional pictures are OUTRAGEOUS, and they have no digital option. In addition to what they donated to the auction, my parents in law ended up pay over a thousand dollars for ONE picture, which did not include framing or retouching. When we we doing the selection session the owner was dismissive and inattentive, and I watched as my mother-in-law almost came to tears. She was willing to pay for one extra family photo, as that's all that was in her budget, but there weren't many good photos of our whole family, mostly just of the individual children which they couldn't afford to purchase. The prices for their pictures are not transparent or available on the website, so we had no way of knowing what we were getting into when we bid on this ridiculous item. My parents in law gifted me the free desktop print, which we did not pay for additional retouching for, and it's awful quality. I got one of my sons and their cousins. The image is dull and blurry and the children's faces are poorly lit. My son's eyes aren't visible at all, and my other son's face is in shadow. It wasn't in my budget to pay HUNDREDS OF ADDITIONAL DOLLARS for retouching on a session that was meant to be a DONATION. I know Willow Street says they can't give out digitals because they make 'art,' but the quality of what I received was lower than the work I've seen by other local photographers who charge far less, and allow you to purchase digitals. I literally got pictures of my youngest taken at JC Penney recently that look better than what we've received from Willow Street. In my opinion, this donation was gifted to my son's school in bad faith, in order to get people through the door and extort money from them. If you're considering family pictures save your money and hire another local photographer, who will allow you access to all your images and who is upfront and transparent about pricing. The only bright side is the photographers who work for the owner were very nice. I hope they all get better jobs.
