They kept the car for repairs from September 15th to the 19th. Though claimed they fixed the hood, they wouldn't specify what caused the drivetrain issue but assured its resolution. Four days later, the malfunction warning returned. Despite my concerns, the staff redirected me to their mechanic and hinted at retaliation when I expressed doubts about his honesty. All I want is a proper repair before my warranty ends and an independent inspection The Mechanic informed me that Mortoland never fixed the Hood because the cable they claimed to have replaced was not. I do not recommend anyone to get a car from here. Someone refered me . This place is a disgrace. The communication skills are so poor that they don't know how to talk to people with human dignity. If you buy the 3 year warranty and have to fix your car. You have to drop it off to them . They WILL NOT disclose where they are talking your car. If you ask them what was found when diagnosing the car they WILL NOT tell you. They WILL NOT tell you how long to pick up your vechile. They all don't have any people skills . To be honest I regret coming here . I don't feel comfortable or trust this establishment . It's really shady. I had a very positive experience purchasing a previously-enjoyed Mitsubishi Galant from Motorland. The sales person I dealt with was friendly and professional. During the test drive I noticed the passenger side power mirror was not functioning properly, and it was promptly repaired before I picked up the car the next week. The only minor complaint I have was the interior could have been cleaned better. Extended warranty information was discussed and there were no high-pressure sales tactics. Horrible experience. I reached out to Motorland Auto Sales Inc. regarding a vehicle that they had for sale sometime last month. My initial contact there was Mathew. As I live in Calgary, I had my cousin go do a visual inspection of the vehicle. Following the visual inspection, I asked to take the vehicle for an inspection by the BMW delearship. I was told that there would be a refundable $500 hold on my Master Card while the vehicle was to be taken away for the inspection. The inspection revealed some concerns and the dealership indicated that they could fix those issues. I asked if there would be warranty on the vehicle and they promised that there would be warranty on the vehicle. They went ahead and held another $1,000 before sending me a bill of sale. When I received the bill of Sale, I noticed that there was no indication of the form of warranty discussed. Infact they checked off the box that indicates no guarantee. I asked why they did not commit to providing warranty and their response is attached and also pasted below: I immediately developed a cold feet and lost confidence in the dealership's commitment to the words of its staff. I had to ask myself, how am I confident that they will indeed complete the repairs they promised to do. I decided that I would not proceed as I was uncomfortable. I requested that the funds be returned and They responded and said I would loose $1500 Even though I had not Signed bill of sale for the transaction. The Bill of Sale clearly reads that the transaction is final when it is signed. I never signed it and they believe that I was just making excuses to get out of the transaction. They couldn't not comprehend that my reason is valid. They could not comprehend that there was such a trust issue surrounding the response below and they tried to force me to close the deal.
