Horrible! The nurses are unbelievably rude. I've never been so spoken down to in my life.

I love the fact that I know them and they are very personable and friendly. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes or so when showing up for an appointment. For my last visit, I called on Thursday morning, was seen Friday morning, in and out in 15 minutes (it was an easy diagnosis) with two prescriptions to get me feeling better. Doesn't get better than that! Dr. About Hosn is always warm, caring and professional. He takes the time to listen and he explains things, answers all my questions. Couldn't ask for better care!

My Mother had gone to Dr. Aboul-Hosn ever since Dr. Rogers quit practicing in Bellefonte. She just…read moreraved about him all the time. This past year she got metatastic melanoma cancer and had to start taking Chemo. All during this she continued going to see Dr. Aboul-Hosn. She received an IV dose of Yervoy Chemo and had a very serious reaction to it. The ambulance took her to the hospital to the E.R. The E.R. doctor wanted to admit her (she is 87), but they had to call Dr. Aboul-Hosn at 1:00 AM (he is the only physician that admits his own patients) and he said to send her home and have her come in to his office the next day for more IV fluid. The ER discharged her againist their better judgement and left the IV port in her arm. She had an appointment with the cancer doctor the next day and he said she needed steroid IV in order to counter act the Chemo. When he saw her he wanted her admitted so he called Dr. Aboul-Hosn. Dr. Aboul-Hosn told him to tell my Mother than he would no longer be her physician. My Mother was devastated over this as she had gone to him for at least 40 + years. The Hospitalist ended up admitting my Mother and she had to find another G.P. This outcome was completely outrageous. I know Dr. Aboul Hosn likes to take care of his own patients, but when cancer is involved that's just wrong.
