I did a random ChatGPT search for the best funeral home in KCMO and Marcom-Harvey Funeral Care came up as highly recommended no matter which funeral home I compared it to. I had to make a call to them around 330am and they answered and went out of their way to help me get things sorted out. They helped with facilitating getting my mother shipped from Atlanta to KC and has so much patience for all my questions and lack of knowledge on the process. I dealt directly with Aesha and she was so kind during the entire process. When I finally arrived at the funeral home, the walk across the patio area was so warm and inviting and beautiful. I knew I'd made the right choice and that my mother was in good hands. The facility was very clean including the restrooms and the air conditioning worked a little too well! The energy was very positive and peaceful. Aesha was never pushy. They really seem to have all the details of running a peaceful service, down to a science. I spoke to the owner as well, Mr. Marcom and he was a gentle, Creole, man who also had a kind spirit. I hope I never have to see them again under these circumstances, but in the event I do, they will be my first choice!! We…read morewere so impressed by their quick response, coordination and professionalism, I recommended them to my neighbor who hired them to remove several dead / sickly trees. The project manager recommended Grade-A Landscaping to remove a large berm that held one of the trees. They unearthed a lot of surprises, and overcame so many challenges. More improvements followed and the end results were so impressive. We hired them to remove several evergreen trees and shrubs from our beds, but primarily to address a large area in the front where soil runoff and tree roots were problematic. We are beyond pleased with the new retaining wall (pictured). A few days later a driver miscalculated parking in the driveway and broke the corner stones. I texted Nick and while weather caused delays he kept me in the loop until a couple weeks later when the team arrived and fixed it. These guys really care and own up to their commitments. Team members are hardworking, a pleasure to be around, and honestly appear to love what they do. I look forward to doing more business with them.
