She often made unnecessary snide remarks toward us that made everyone uncomfortable. She would mumble, then when people would ask her to repeat, she would snap at them sharp and loud. It was the kind of uncomfortable situation that causes everyone to exchange looks, acknowledging something is not right. Apparently other reviews on Yelp reflect similar sentiments. This is NOT a unique occurence. After a two hour wait, I was told "to go in." When I asked where, she pointed to a the door and said "right there!" After walking in to another receptionist area, I waited another 5 minutes before a nurse asked me if I had seen the doctor yet. "No! No I have not!" After hearing me agitated, my new PCP comes around the corner and a asks "did she tell you room 2?" to which I answerd no. His response: "oh... sometimes you just have to yell at them." I walked into his office to find one single framed piece of art - a picture of Joseph Stalin. A few minutes later, when describing my insomnia, the doctor told me "some people can operate with 4 hours or less of sleep, like DONALD TRUMP, but the rest of us, we cannot operate like that without having serious problems." Succinct to say it was the worst experience at a doctor's office I've ever had. While the doctor was indeed consummate (save for his sleep comment which makes me question his validity), the practice is in absolute shambles. Disorganized, incredibly behind schedule, rude, and to be honest, a little kooky. I created a Yelp account SPECIFICALLY for this review. That's how much I care about sharing my experience at this facility with others. DO NOT COME HERE. JUST DON'T.

They do not open them until 8:30. Then, I was told my doctor was running late. Fine. Thirty minutes later a nurse comes and takes my blood pressure/heart rate and then sends me back out into the waiting from. 15 minutes later I tell the nurse if the doctor doesn't show in 15 minutes that I'm leaving. She tells me it's not likely and would I want to reschedule. LOL NO I WOULD NOT LIKE TO RESCHEDULE with someone who does not care about showing up to their job. You will regret going here.

Give me a doctors office that you don't have to wait in?? I have gone to many clinics before and…read morethe wait is the same! I have been coming here since I was a baby Dr. Trigo was my first doctor and then I switched to Dr. Gliwa. As I have work in a medical office before patient tend to me a little dramatic due to the fact that they maybe sick. Who likes going to a doctor? No one! This causes overreaction and hence the nasty negative Yelp reviews. If you are giving poor reviews based on time wait then that's not accurate. The staff is very friend-- but sometimes they have there off days. Who doesn't? If there is a long wait I ask the nurses when they do my exam and I do some light shopping in the area -- time flys by a lot faster. Both my parents go here and I couldn't be happier-- I have recommended this office to many people and have not received any negative feed back from them. It's sad that the only reviews that make it on medical office are the negative ones because we only write about them when we are angry. This place has almost all the specialties that one may need. It's been in the neighborhood for as long as I can remember and I'm glad!

I write this to inform patients to save their time and energy, to get another doc. Dr. Ukowska is…read moresupposed to be a medical practitioner; able to connect with patience, diagnose them well, listen to them, make them feel heard and safe. However, as a patients, we don't feel any of these (myself and others I know). She is dismissive, rushed, unbothered, uninterested and cold. The wait time is insane (30min and up). I feel unwelcomed and rushed. I feel like I am forced to comply with her attitude (dismissive, unsure, bothered) which leads to me feeling unsure about my own health. I always feel dissatisfied after a visit. And I am still sick till day, I am not saying it is all her fault but she has a part in it. Once I was explained my condition, she answered "but you look fine!?" People are already sick so the last thing they want is feeling worse after consulting their doc. lastly, I agree with the one star reviews. I wish to see future improvements, especially that she is a doc!

He…read morerecently performed my kidney transplant, and I cannot thank him enough for helping me through the entire process. From our very first meeting upon arrival at NYU Langone, his kindness and compassion -- his caring approach -- put my mind completely at ease. This was a life-changing surgery that could have been so much more difficult and stressful. Instead, it went so well it felt almost seamless -- I never imagined I would be on the other side of all this and feel so good and positive about it all. What sets Dr. Robalino apart is his communication skills and incredible humility. When I thanked him the next morning, he humbly told me that it is entirely a team effort. His team includes the equally wonderful Dr. Bonnie Lonze and Dr. Brian Boyarsky, as well as many others who took exceptional care of me. The entire staff at NYU Langone along with Dr. Robalino's surgical team were outstanding, supportive, and caring beyond measure at every step. Finally, the experience at NYU Langone hospital itself was incredible. I was in an amazing room that felt like a small studio apartment with a million-dollar view overlooking the East River. As my post-surgery recovery began, I got to watch the boats go up and down the river at all hours, set against a backdrop of a constantly changing New York City light and sky. It was like a moving work of art. This aspect was as exceptional as every other part of my journey, and it was deeply healing. If I had known what to expect, I would have done this a long time ago. If you need a transplant surgeon who combines elite medical expertise with deep compassion and a wonderful team, I cannot recommend Dr. Robalino enough. I could not have asked for anyone or any place better. Thank you so much.

Went back to my ER bed at 52S. After about 45 minutes, a female was put into room 52. About a hour goes by. The lady that was put in the room 52 was taken to ultrasound before me. At that point, I addressed my concern and found out that the doctor never put the order in. And he left for the day. This is the first time I've ever had an issue with NYU Langone.
