Crew came, start to finish in 3.5 hours they installed 7 jacks to stabilize foundation, $12,000 and I notice the next day jacks are at slight angle, Building dept sends notice it needs repair, NO ONE will call me back at Mount Valley Foundation Services, I have sents texts and emails and voicemail and NO ONE will call - I made the mistake of not reading reviews, not sure if i was scammed or this company is just not legit. read more

Hired this firm to handle water coming up from the garage foundation. Mind you this is a $10,000 job! What a nightmare this firm has turned out to be. Synopsis: 4/24 Started job. Unable to complete the job, was to call us that Monday with a return appointment time. Heard nothing. Left message for their office and Kevin, our foreman. After 3 days I was told they would return late Friday afternoon. (1 week after initial job). No showed and no phone call to reschedule. Monday, 5/4 left another message for Kevin. Followed up with another call but this time to Bill who provided the estimate and assured us they are the right company to correct the issue. Kevin, obviously prompted by Bill, called to schedule return visit 5/7. Kevin advised he had no idea why the problem persists and was going to speak to management, call me back. Surprise. After messages to Kevin, Bill and their office nobody is calling back. Do NOT consider this company at all. They havent finished the job nor corrected the issue. What they have done best is take our money and ghost us. I also can't help but wonder if they feel that they can take advantage of the homeowner, my 87yo father. They came I to "fix" my "sinking home. They did not do what they said they would do. My floors are more unlevel now than before they came in. I called them a few times but they thought they did a great job and said there was nothing to fix. We had to hire Low Country Foundation to come in and redo their work. Beware! read more

In March of 2025, we had 3 foundation companies provide an estimate due to the back corner of our house sinking. The sale person for Mount Valley met with us and reviewed what was needed. It was noted in the contract that there was an Engineering package. Unfortunately, I made the assumption an engineer would come to the property to confirm what the sales person had drawn up on the job worksheet by hand. No engineer comes to the property. The work is performed based on the sales person's visit. We installed 6 Settle Stop Helical Piers for $14K. 1 year later, our bedroom, where the last Helical Pier was installed sank 3/4 inch. It took some perseverance to have MV come back out and we were told "we do what the home owner wants." How would the homeowner, unless an engineer, know that if you don't have Helical Piers from both cracks in the foundation there will be issues with the side that is not supported? (We learned this in the last year) Another $4K later and 3 additional Helical Piers - still no engineer on site to verify if any other part of the house will be impacted - and now the deck of the house is impacted. The boards have torqued and we need to have our deck re-supported because of the new piers. We did have the house raise a little over 1/2 inch with the 3 piers to try to get it back to where it was the prior year. The installer noted - "I can go as high as you want." Again we are not engineers and did not know that this would continue to impact other parts of the house. We spoke with MV and were told we would receive a call back, as with other customers on this website - no call back. My recommendation is to not use MV and if you do, please hire your own engineer to confirm that the work will not continue to impact other parts of your home foundation. We are learning the hard way and most likely will need to spend more money for additional support of our foundation. read more

I have been a very dissatisfied customer since July of 2022. From the very beginning, the follow up, customer service and quality of work has been beyond sub par. I have had an extremely hard time getting this company to follow through with work it is contracted to do. When I called today, the receptionist refused to give me contact information for the general manager so I could send him an email detailing my concerns. She said that someone would call me today. I had Brandon come out to inspect my home. He was communicative, sat me down and told me everything I needed to know and answered all my questions when it came to anything I was unsure about. I had a few other companies come out before him and ultimately went with Brandon and Mount Valley Foundations as he made everything simple and was able to price match one of the other companies. I am a very unsatisfied customer, work that was to begin on July 28, 2025, has still not been completed! After my electrical was damaged, I was told that someone would fix it right away, well I'm still waiting for that to be fixed as well as the project to be completed. I've easily called over a hundred times and either no one answers, they transfer you to a number that no one answers, or they lie as to why no one showed up when they were supposed to. I thought this was a reputable company after reading the great reviews on their site, but definitely beware, I'm now seeing that more and more people are experiencing what I am. read more

Great salesman but no execution. We were under contract and paid a deposit and upfront it would be about a month before someone would be available to start working on our project. The person that started doing work, realized that the scope of work originally defined was insufficient. The company came back, saying the scope of work to complete the project would be almost double what we were initially quoted after some negotiations we settled on an amount to complete the work that needed to be done. And that's about when people stop showing up. My husband called several times every day and was given the runaround excuse after excuse. We finally requested our money back and terminated our contract with this company. We wasted several months. We are at a financial loss as these are rental properties. They did more damage to our property than they "fixed". Shop around unless you have plenty of time and money to waste. read more

These people are nothing but criminals. You can't even reach the original inspector. Spent over $24,000 for three days with people that looked barely out of high school. They promised they had to do permit and an inspection, no inspection has ever been done. Nothing has been fixed. The work was performed on my pool deck today by Austin and Michael and I am very happy with the work. As promised they called when they were in their way and arrived on time. Before the work was started we talked about my expectations and we were in agreement about the work to be performed. They explained the process and told me what to expect. I watched as they began the process and asked a few questions which they took the time to answer. When the job was completed I inspected the work and asked if they could fix something to my satisfaction. They happily agreed and added the few minor touchups. When they were finished I again inspected the work and was very happy with the final product. Austin and Michael explained the warranty and told me about the annual inspection. I was very pleased with the work that Austin and Michael performed along with the patience with all my questions and their professionalism. I would highly recommend Austin and Michael. read more

If you value communication, this is not the company for you. Contacted MVFS for some work to my driveway. They came out and started the work, but left. I got a message four days later after I followed up that they didn't seem to finish and they said they left due to potential rain which they need a few days without to complete. Fine, just tell me. They then schedule for next Thursday to complete the work and no showed. No call, no email, no reschedule notification, no rain forecasted or rain in last few days, zero proactive communication as to what happen. I follow up to find there was an "emergency" which no one told me about. Someone later came back finished the job, didn't confirm it was complete to my satisfaction. Two months later, get invoice (or invoices I should say which you will get every day or so till you pay) So I filled out a contact form request to have a manager call, no response. Got another invoice, so I call the service line ask for a high priority message to manager, we are still waiting on call and it's been over a week now. Came here and found a feedback email, let's see if that works for a call. I'm not holding my breath. Just go to Cantey or someone else. read more

Please, avoid this company. Since meeting with the sales rep on 01 Aug 2024, I've been stuck in a nightmare. To complete the job I paid 9k for 5 different visits from managers and installation crews were needed. Also, please be aware that this branch of the company did not when the torch award from the Better Business Bureau. The upstate branch did. They never mention the 600 Better Business Bureau complaints filed against them. I had to file a complaint against them because the field inspection manager wouldn't return my phone call (this was the 2nd time. The 1st time I had to make 5 calls to get him to inspection the work). I don't have enough character allowance to describe the 6 week experience so here are some highlights: The sales rep didn't know basic pricing information * The sales rep asked if I trusted him to lead 'this expedition' but after I signed the documents he was no longer part of the project * The sales rep didn't record any measurements or findings on the initial inspection. He also didn't check other areas of the house so I don't know how far reaching the problem is * The first install team put a support beam in the wrong location. * I didn't have control over lift amount. They do. My house still has a slope. * The permit specialist fear mongered and told me that if I didn't get a full encapsulation my situation would only get worse * The permit specialistim gave me incorrect information about the inspection process * The second install team also messed up the installing the beam. One beam was clearly crooked. * As a 'favor' because they constantly messed up they said they would run the vapor barrier up the wall. They didn't. They barely ran it half of the wall. No one told me that drilling would be involved so for four hours I heard loud drilling. As such I developed a migraine that caused me to logg off of work. * they did not 'settle the environment'. Meaning they did not fill in the holes. * they did not originally run the vapor barrier wall to wall. There were six inches gaps * they communicate by shouting and banging on the floor * while working under the house they failed to remember I could hear most of what they said. Like their discussion on honey mustard and the one time were quoting reels 'do I have the floor. Yes, you do'. * there is no organization. The general manager told me they would start at 10 am and that I wouldn't need any support beams. They started at 8:15 and installed 2 additional support beams *they entered my premises and went under my house without telling me they were there *I still don't have measurements regarding the work that was done. *without me knowing the GM listened on a conversation I thought I was having with only one person read more

The guys from Mount Valley did a really nice job with the encapsulation. I had a lot of questions and the foreman (Jerrod Mazych) was very good at answering and explaining what the crew was going to do. The two guys on his crew was Noah Jenkins and Alex Myers.....Those guys are really hard workers, and they take pride in the job they do. I could tell this crew got a long pretty good ( I could hear one of them singing while he was working) that's awesome.
