This thrift shop is a treasure! So much excellent outdoor apparel for men and women at super reasonable prices. I scored a Columbia jacket for $30 and could have scored a pair of Burton snow pants for $50 but the fit was not good so decided against it. They had a number of brand name ski and snow apparel as well and nice rain jackets all very well priced. Just beware there is 8.55 percent tax on clothes here. They will let you try on items in a private room if you ask but there is also a mirror in the store if you just want to try on coats over your clothes. They are expanding to a new storefront down the street soon so look around if you can't find them at this exact address. Pro tip- also stop at Beau Jo's for pizza and beers when you come here. The point about the weird bathroom /hot tub dressing room someone else made is totally accurate. It is bizarre. Also, Ivan confirm that there are a lot of weird somewhat aggressive signs but I was thrilled by the bargains I just like whatever. read more

We came in for the first time on my birthday. And we left extremely happy. Parking may be a bit difficult to find. This thrift experience may possibly be one of the best I've ever come across. Many expensive name brands for amazing low prices. And lots of original tags still on clothing items. We ended up coming back the next day for round two. Both of the employees on duty were very friendly and helpful. We spoke with one of the owners by the name of Marco. He was extremely kind, patient, helpful, and informative. Thanks for everything. Oye....the employees here....0 stars for friendliness. Actually negative stars. Not sure if they both were having an off day or if that's their status quo. Grumpy and could appear to care less if customers were present or not. When greeted by customers they either 1. Grunted or 2. Did not respond. What the heck??? Ruuuude!!!! You work in a customer service based industry. As for the merch: decent selection of some name brand items. Many priced well. Some overpriced. Some worn out or stained...so look out for that using your smart phone flashlight (we'll get to lighting issues soon). As for trying on area: super sketchy. When I asked where to try on the clothes (bc no dressing room is readily apparent) the employee appeared as if she wanted to say there wasn't one but obvi I'm not going to purchase clothes without trying them on to see how they fit....since you can't return them like at normal stores... So with hesitation I was informed it was in the bathroom in the back but 1. I could not take more than five items in with me 2. No bags 3. Do not dare leave anything in the bathroom. Just a lot of rules for a place with ONE customer in it and the one customer (me) wearing shorts and a tank top...no place I could secretly stash these clothes I wanted to try on (8 pieces total). Plus I just don't look shady. I know, I know sometimes it's the not shady looking ones that create problems but that's not me. Fine, fine....no problem, I'm I go with my five items. In the bathroom which was huuuuge and had the largest bathtub ever, there was no table to place your items. You had to lay them on the dirty appearing bathtub. Odd. Def need a spot in there to put your items on (since there is room for a table). They did have a full size mirror but the lighting was diiiiiiim. So you were making a best guess of how the items actually looked on you. Then there were sooooooo many signs posted about DO NOT LEAVE items in the bathroom or kitchen. Zero clue where the kitchen was. And take everything with you. And put everything back....which I think is super odd bc I've worked in the retail industry and how often do customers know where to put things back properly? Not often! Even stranger, they have a big rack IMMEDIATELY outside of the bathroom which, in a normal store you put your items that didn't work out, but all over this big empty rack were the same signs of do not dare leave anything in the bathroom and put everything back!! Just thought that was pretty odd....I've shopped at plenty of consignment shops and they haven't been so brusque about their requirements. I def felt like these folks would rather not own this store and don't actually want customers to ever visit. So I opened the bathroom door and hung the hangers on the rack with the other employee sitting maybe five feet from me, watching me soooooo closely and just looking like he was hoping I would be ballsy enough to ignore the 42 signs posted so he could chew me out. I hung them there so I could then put the clothing I tried on back in appropriate shape to hang back on the hanger before taking all the items back out to put back on the floor. He sat there grumpily staring at me during this whole process. I then took everything with me AS MANDATED and he settled back into his chair to resume what he was working on. I have never felt so judged in any consignment store before. I think they need to get some new ownership or employees into this place stat that make customers feel more welcomed. When I took my purchases to the front the employee saw me and said ummm it'll be a minute and disappeared to the back to have a conversation with the other employee for over five minutes. (Yes, I timed it bc I had people waiting on me) I just stood at the register waiting and watching their exchange wondering when I could check out. Again, I'm the only employee there. And yes I did debate leaving without the items bc I was pretty annoyed at the lack of customer service but I hung in there bc I'M NO QUITTER! Finally she gets up there and her first question is "what did you do with the other items?" I told her I put them back on the rack as your many signs instructed. "Oh, you did? Huh. Great place stopped in and bought a Flannel and sweater that was never worn, all quality name brand clothes so glad this place is in Idaho Springs. They also have ski goggles and other winter clothing for the slopes! read more

Wonderful selection of clothing and a lot of items new with tags. I was able to use the bathroom for a dressing room so that was helpful. Staff was friendly and attentive. I would make it a point to come back here if I was driving through. I bought a PrAna dress and Lululemon leggings for $20 total. Wohoo! read more

What an amazing "thrift store" w/ even better prices. I scored 7 items including a Vince ($9) & Athleta sweater, Lucky top & Frye leather boots($45) all of which look brand new. 7 items for less than $100. Lots of other brand name items including lululemon, madewell, and your other REI type outdoorsy brands (mountain hardware, marmot, Columbia, etc). Surprised to see how many brand new items w/ tags for a steal of a price. Check this place out if you're in the area. read more

Stopped in here for the first time MDW after going on a hike and waiting to eat dinner and I loved this store! I am a big thrifter/vintage shopper and I love going in unique stores like this to look for cool pieces.
