I normally like going to Habitat for Humanity to find furniture and other items that I didn't know that I needed it. This store was filled with many different types of furniture and items that were donated. I find that the quality and selection of merchandise really depends on the neighborhood that they are located in. I really found that this store was a bit pricey. I found a couple of paintings that caught my eye and they were asking for a price that was more than it was worth because the original price tags were still on the back of the paintings. They were $10-$20 dollars cheaper then what Habitat for humanity was asking for. After seeing that it I lost some interest shopping in the store. Since I was now just in browsing mode it's interesting to see what was donated in this area. read more

Although they have some cool furniture, 90% of it is way overpriced! It seems more like a high end furniture consignment store than a nonprofit donation center. I understand some things will be priced high if it's expensive furniture to begin with, but literally EVERYTHING is overpriced. And if there is no price on it, you bring it up to the front, and you'll get different prices depending on which employee you ask. I once asked a price on a lamp, and was told $20; brought it up to the front and the cashier said $30. Just as I was about to check out, the manager (I assume?) told her to charge me $45 instead. Literally all within a twenty minute time frame. We love going over to peruse the Habitat Restore in Silverthorne. You never know what you're going to find! We were just there again today and discovered three things we just couldn't live without! The people there are helpful and courteous and all seem to be happy to be there. read more

It has a large selection of stuff and displayed nicely. However everything is way over priced. Used carpet $400! I've been there many times and rarely buy anything. read more

The nicest people work here. I had a dining room table to donate and John was very clear that they only accept items in excellent conditions. Once John saw my table he was happy to accept it. They don't pick up donations so they suggested I hire a local guy to haul larger pieces over to donate. It's nice to see people care so much & take such pride in their volunteer activities. read more

No one wants to help you and once you can get someone the man i dealt with was rude and short. He kept saying if I got the wrong one just bring it back. This is a metal bed frame no frills. I kept telling him I didn't want to make a return trip I wanted the right bed frame the first time. He just kept saying that they get miss marked and are missing pieces all the time. I got a queen frame marked king. Now I have to go back If I did my job they way they do theirs people would die. I don't have the luxury of not caring and making mistakes. This store is overpriced! One time we saw a desk, but felt it was too expensive and did not buy it ! We went back to browse a few weeks later, and saw the price of the desk was increased! Different employees seem to give different prices too! They have signs inside about sales, but it's so rare to get any type of bargain! It is one of the most expensive resale stores around. Some items are high quality for sure, and it's all for a good cause but the items remain way OVERPRICED!! Denver has better prices for sure! This store needs new management. Prices are mismarked and if cashier does not like the price on the item, he changes it. This is the type of CUSTOMER SERVICE I experienced at this Habitat for Humanity. I have visited, purchased, and donated at this habitat for Humanity since it opened In Summit County. The customer service has decreased DRAMATICALLY. This place is an accident waiting to happen. Furniture is all over the place. No safe free aisle for customers to walk thru. I am surprised people have not been hurt or that furniture has not fallen on them... they have glass tables piled on top of couches..... This Habitat for Humanity needs. NEW MANAGEMENT. read more

I love ReStores and while this isn't the fanciest one in Colorado it is centrally located and reliably stocked with furniture. Last week I dropped in to check their inventory and found a shabby chic lamp for $10. Also they have plenty of sofas and dressers. My friend is looking for a sofa and while their selection was great my friend didn't find anything she really loved. The prices seemed reasonable though! But don't bother trying to park in the front as you'll just have to walk around to the back entrance. read more

I love popping in to see newly stocked items. It's hit and miss but I have been delighted with my finds: lamps, dressers and even a table and chairs. Staff is helpful and have a bit of patience as they are often short staffed but never short tempered! read more

This store is the most expensive Habitat I have ever been to! There is a $1900 couch, with tons of wear and tear at this place. Save your time and go to Buds down in Denver and support their philanthropy. This is not the charity it should be! read more

This is Summit County's go-to place for used furniture. They offer very reasonable prices, and the furniture selection is excellent. I wish I knew about this place last year when I was in the process of furnishing my entire house! My boyfriend and I were looking to upgrade our living room furniture, and we ended purchasing a beautiful high-end couch and loveseat set for only $215. As soon as we handed over the cash, 3 volunteers cheerfully came to us and helped us load the couches on the back of my boyfriend's truck. We were blown away by the wonderful quality of their furniture, the insanely low prices, and the friendly and upbeat customer service. Like the 5 stars suggest, it's as good as it gets! read more

This store is now located further down Blue River Parkway. It's hit or miss at this store but it's stocked with lots of chairs, sofas, lamps, bed frames and beds, tables, framed art etc. Since it's donated goods, don't expect to find high end stuff although once in a while you'll find a treasure but it will be priced higher. There are no clothes and just a few pieces of glassware/china. Worth taking a look. read more

I have tried to give several pieces of furniture to this store and they always refuse the pieces. Just tried to give them a Pottery Barn coach and chair in excellent condition and they stated they did not take slipcovered coaches. This is a Belgian slipcovered sofa and chair- retails for over $5000.00. Are you kidding... tried to drop of a high quality buffet last year and they stated they did not accept that type of furniture. What gives??? I thought these places were supposed to take things so that individuals can get furniture??? read more

We visited this new location of the Summit County Habitat for Humanity Restore on Saturday. It is solely a furniture store and full of couches, chairs, tables, dressers, bed frames, nightstands, lamps, chests, sideboards and other cool stuff like a vintage sled. The store is much larger than the previous location in Breck and very easy to find, right across from a 7-11 on Blue River Parkway. The staff was eager to help us find specific items we were looking for. Prices were pretty good for many items, for example the nightstands we were eyeing were $65 apiece and huge, heavy solid wood. A super cool mid-mod open sideboard was $70 marked down from $90. We would have taken all three items with us if we had any room on our trailer. Side and end tables were all half off that day so they do have sales in addition to the bargain pricing. Furniture was all in very good condition, with decent to great-looking upholstery. Styles ran the gamut from lodge to modern to kitsch and everything in between. Though I was sad to see this store leave Breck, I'm very happy this store expanded into a larger space and I'll be a frequent visitor as a shopper and donator. read more

I purchased a couch from Habitat the other day and paid for it to be delivered. Two guys showed up with it and could not get it through the door. They scraped it up pretty good in the process. When i called Habitat about this they told me all sales are final and I would have to hire a professional mover or I could donate it back to Habitat. The guys then quit and left me with a couch stuck in the stair well. I hired a professional mover and they got it through the door in about 5 minutes. Best resource in Summit County! I have a high end mountain home, and have found wonderful things here! A spotless lodge design room size rug, in Cabela's catalog for $356 for $80. Solid oak Mission style large coffee table and side tables for $40 each. A gorgeous rubbed bronze and amber glass chandelier for a big stairway $80, listed for over $400! Every time I go to Summit County I stop, and the inventory turns over weekly. DO NOT shop for new furniture before you look here for a few weeks! The staff are very welcoming and helpful. No dickering allowed. Prices go down over time. ALWAYS new things here! Treasure hunting at it's best! read more
