I will never be able to express enough how instrumental Kate at Mountain Greenery was for our Wedding. We used Kate for floral, rentals, and as our Day of Coordinator. I am incredibly A-typed and organized and love planning, planning a wedding was my Superbowl. Kate has so much knowledge and there were so many things I wouldn't have ever thought of. There is also incredible value to knowing everything is taken care of on your wedding day and not having to put out the fires. Kate was a pleasure to work with through the entire process, she quite simply knows how to get things done. She was not afraid to tell me when she disagreed with a decision I was making and was the deciding vote in many disagreements between my now-husband and I regarding food, décor, events, our dog's attendance, etc. Kate was incredibly accommodating to our budget. Not only was she reasonably priced, her recommendations saved us a ton. She made sure our day was everything we wanted and more. In addition to her outstanding coordinating, her florals and décor were beautiful. I cannot say enough good things about Kate and Mountain Greenery. My only regret was not having hired her immediately when we got engaged. The vendor recommendations I took from her were outstanding and I wish I had her list before hiring all of my vendors. Kate is amazing and her wedding planning services are amazing and her shop is amazing. I just realized I never left a review! I got married in the Adirondacks a few years ago and Kate came highly recommended. She was so easy to work with - she's friendly and personable, but also very obviously crazy organized and pays immense attention to detail. She's very passionate about her work and very creative, so when you give her a "vague idea" about what you want, she follows you immediately and has a ton of suggestions, but also sticks to your choices. To the point where if you contradict one of your own choices from months ago, she'll notice (in her meticulous binder) and double-check with you which one you want. Personally, in my case, it was so awesome to work with her because she immediately recognized which parts of wedding planning were interesting to me (major decor choices, color scheme idea) and which were not (rental details of tables, chairs, glassware, flatware, etc). She asked me for overall opinions and gave me choices, and, at my request, handled the rest. It was perfect! If I wanted to pick through everything, she was prepared to do that too. And she's also super, super nice. Last comment - I love everything in her shop. And she has the best soaps. read more

Our daughter got married this past weekend in Inlet at the Woods Inn. Kate Russell, the owner of Mountain Greenery, provided beautiful flowers, excellent advice, wonderful service all at a very fair price. We ended up hiring her as our wedding planner for the wedding weekend and that was the best decision we made!
