There is one check in desk with several people that can check you in no matter which doctor you are visiting. Once you check in, you take a seat near one of 4 doors that will open and you'll be called back. On my latest visit, it didn't take too long for them to call me back. The medical assistant was very friendly and escorted me to a room. She took my vitals and prepared me for the doctor to come in later. I was one of the first appointments of the day so I didn't have to wait too long for the doctor, however, in the afternoon, I've waited sometimes for up to an hour or more. The doctors I see here are usually pretty good about listening to me, but there have been a couple that want to rush you out after giving you the "standard" diagnosis. Intermountain has good doctors for the most part. Inside the room, they had a white noise machine with wave sounds to calm me while I waited for the doctor. The decor in the exam room area included barn style doors rather than typical swing doors which seemed to make efficient use of the space. I'm sure I'll be back several more times as many of my doctors have moved here from the Layton Clinic and only see patients here.

I've had four appointments here with the maternal fetal medicine team and I've always been treated with care and given the opportunity to ask questions and not feel rushed. My only complaint is that every single one of my appointments has started 15-30 minutes late. This place isn't very busy so it's typically not because of other patients. It's because they are still working out kinks with having rooms available, or the staff being ready. I'm not really sure all the details, but it's frustrating nevertheless. I would still recommend, but work in some extra time into your schedule.

There was an accident on the freeway on the way there, which delayed us quite a bit. Tanner Clinic made room for us and made sure that they fit us in even though we were late because they knew that we had a long drive there. I am so impressed with this clinic. I felt so great about my mom going there that I have decided to transfer my pain clinic from Murray. They were very proactive regarding injections that will come in the future for her. They explained everything clearly and the entire staff was incredibly friendly. As soon as you walk in, you will feel at home. It was easy to ask questions because they want you to be informed and left plenty of time for us to ask any questions we had. I would recommend this clinic to anyone. I anticipate that this will be our clinic for a long time to come and I look forward to having a wonderful relationship with this clinic. If you have been in a pain clinic before, you know how difficult some of these offices are. Care quality isn't even decent, I gave birth in October in the Lehi location, and the nurse I had was awful. Cause severe birth trauma for me as a first time mom, wish I could remember her name. I've had family try to help me navigate their financial aide and they mention Intermountain isn't even this hard. If you can, go elsewhere.

We're able to get our shots. The waiting area isn't very kid friendly, but maybe that is okay. You don't really want to play with toys at a clinic, you don't know what kids runny nose touched them. The other review was one star, I don't agree. Probably someone with one bad experience, but that hasn't been my experience over the several times I have gone.

I developed severe UV sensitivity, suffer in immense pain, and have irreversible cognitive and motor neuron damage. I am completely disabled with a novel Porphyric syndrome at just 30 years old. Contrary to what Fowers had said when she laughed at me as I broke down crying, I was not well. In fact, my disease is almost identical in symptomology as lead poisoning. If I had been referred to a hematologist as I had requested back in Oct. 2023, my disease may not have progressed to the point of complete disability. In fact, she refused to refer me to any specialist at all at the time. After speaking with my nurse advocate, she was appalled at this. I've been given an attorney to assist me in filing a lawsuit. Jody Fowers is not only incompetent but malicious to those with complex illnesses. DO NOT TRUST THIS WOMAN WITH YOUR HEALTH. I feel it is my duty to ensure this traumatic experience does not happen to anyone else. Rare and complex diseases exist. It also goes through the whole send a code, fill out address, email, phone number, etc. only to tell you they can't process your request and to call a number--which apparently is available 24/7, but again doesn't tell you that.
