Waterfall that was close to the hotel! Everything was close and convenient!

I think the Lodge is extremely underrated! Impeccable service. Room was huge and extremely comfortable! A/C was great! Free Netflix and other streaming available! Front corner offered numerous restaurants and cafes that we're phenomenal and not expensive at all!! This would be my number one hotel in the area!

Look at the size of this kitchen, y'all!

What a wonderful place to stay, right next to the interstate. Yet, you feel like you're miles and miles away from it all when you're there. You are overcome with peace upon entering. Calm music playing in the background, gorgeous interior, and friendly staff greet you. You know immediately that you are at the right place. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, clean, and utilitarian, in such a good way. There is a large kitchen, with full size refrigerator, cabinets, and even an electric cooktop. You could stay weeks here if you had to. The pool is heated and nice, if perhaps a little small, especially if a lot of guests are there. The breakfast in the morning is not incredible, but pretty good. You're not going to want to go out anywhere, as it is way too pleasant inside to go out to eat. I'll definitely be back. If you're anywhere near Hendersonville you should definitely give this one a try.

    Lodge fireplace with candles?

We stayed here during winter storm Izzy with 12 inches of snow in 24 hours! The staff and the room could not have been any better. We had a king suite on the third-floor and overlooked the parking and field behind and found the bed and furniture very comfortable. Very much enjoyed our stay and got to spend a day playing in the snow. The breakfast was lackluster but we attributed that to Covid protocol. The only real disappointment was the candles in the fireplace in the main lobby. I think if you're going to call yourself a lodge you should at least burn some real logs. They did set a fire outside on Saturday evening but at 25° and snow falling, there wasn't much of a way to enjoy it. We will definitely be back.

I would add more stars if I could. Absolutely wonderful hotel and the ideal location and setting. The ambiance was palpable, and the staff friendly and courteous. I have been visiting family in Hendersonville for 6 decades. I will never stay anywhere else and am so glad to have spent 8 nights here at Thanksgiving. It was a wonderful time during this very challenging year of 2020.

This place is the cutest and most comfy place a person who is traveling with dogs could stay at. Our two pups were able to be comfy and shockingly so were we. The lodge was decorated adorably for Christmas and the breakfast was to die for. Loved the French toast and the burrito!

We found this gem of a hotel looking for a halfway point on a frequent trip we take. It stood out to us as it was pet friendly, but usually pet friendly hotels lack in cleanliness, service and charge an extra fee per pet. We decided to take the chance on it after speaking on the phone to the front desk and hearing that there were no extra pet fees and they enjoyed dogs coming to stay. It did not disappoint! The lodge is so cute and homey. The rooms are clean. Staff is friendly, and our dogs love it! I also absolutely loved how they decorated for Christmas this time! We will continue to stay here for our upcoming travels.

A very serious ice/snow storm was forecaster for our area and, as we don't have a generator at our home, we needed to find a hotel on a main road that might not lose power. Due to their reviews and location, we chose to stay at the Fairfield for three days. While power went out at our home for over 25 hours, the power and the internet at the Fairfield remained in place. We had selected a room with a king bed. The room was tastefully decorated with ample sources to charge our electronics. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable. Though, I really think the bathroom was the most remarkable aspect of the suite. The shower is quite large--as is the bathroom itself--and the bathroom mirror has LED lighting, The breakfast (my favorite meal of the day) was outstanding. There were eggs and bacon or sausage, a pancake bar, and a very generous cereal and granola bar. Finally, the staff--including the manager Nick Tarleton--couldn't have been more helpful, friendly, and focused on the cleanliness of the facility. Hunkering down in the hotel (unable to leave because of the storm), we saw them often. A special shout-out to the woman who manages the dining area--she was a delight to encounter each morning. Unfortunately, their pool area was closed due to updates, however, we did go into the gym which contained new equipment and generous options for working out. To summarize, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Fairfield. Very easy access off of I-26, which makes it a great base for seeing the many sites and mountain destinations for which western North Carolina is known.

So I have been staying here a few times a year. Parking is around the perimeter of the hotel and you can use your key to enter from doors near where you park. On my last visit, I got back late from a performance so I appreciated the multiple entry doors and all the lighting in the parking lot as the spots in front were taken. When I arrived, I was given a feather-free room but on the second floor. The room was clean. The walls were on the thin side or the couple next to me were just loud talkers. The tv lineup was good for the little time I was in the room. WIFI was in the good range. Breakfast had a pancake maker; waffle maker, mini quiches and breakfast sandwiches; some cereals; oatmeal and breads. The hotel is good for an overnight stay.

It was such a great experience that I would recommend traveling to Hendersonville just to stay at the Elizabeth Leigh and eat at the restaurants on Main St. It's a very relaxing and classy small town. Main St. is a short 10 minute walk from the inn. When I walked into the inn, I was blown away by the elegant antique decor. The pictures online just don't do it justice. I stayed in the Blue Room. It had a large comfortable bed, two chairs, loveseat, wardrobe, and a few other various decor items. All the colors and patterns went together flawlessly. The bathroom was incredible. It had gold and white accents, but still went really well with the blue theme. There were plenty of fresh high quality thick white towels neatly rolled in a basket. The shower had an adjustable head. Water stayed warm the whole time despite showering at the same time as other guests. Breakfast was southern, filling, elegantly served, and tasted amazing. The first breakfast was eggs, bacon, and thick French toast. The next was a cream cheese, berries, and French toast casserole or 'hot dish' depending on where you're from. There was complimentary bottled water, wine, ice cream, homemade white chocolate macadamia cookies, homemade pound cake (which was wonderful), and beer. Now possibly the most enjoyable part, the rest of the property. The inn has a wraparound porch with big white rocking chairs that overlook the yard and the little street in front of the house. The backyard has a fountain, swing in front of a little waterfall pond, and corner area with seating. There are multiple places to have private conversations with your loved one(s). If you get the opportunity, getting to know the owner Cindy and her husband Mike will be the best part of your stay. The inn is an expression of Cindy and her dream to give guests a relaxing, but high quality environment to experience genuine southern hospitality in the gorgeous mountains of western North Carolina.

We booked the Silverbell Tree room directly through the Waverly, totaling $595 for two nights. The Waverly charged an additional $17.99 for a booking fee. We couldn't find record or notification of this charge anywhere, however. Trying to keep a long review short; $655 total for two nights in a semi-clean room that didn't include refreshment of bath towels/cloths or any housekeeping after night one was a bit disappointing. The claw foot bath tub is ok, but feels less than clean. (Showering is kind of gross since the curtains don't leave much room to keep your own rear end off of them, let alone whoever's rear was rubbing on them before.). The bed was great.
