Then i said how would i know then. I paid the 62.00 even though i didn't want to and declined they repair services. I do not recommend this auto repair. they are moving there location soon to off of route 40. beware and double check there pricing if you do go. hopefully this helps someone else from getting over charged.

To say that they went above and WAAAAAY beyond to make sure my car was fixed that day is so far understated...they even stayed late to fix these issues! There were parts they did not have in stock and Jack sent one of his sons out several times to different locations to pick up parts needed. I mean, the time, effort, and care they gave my car was amazing! Jack apologized a couple of times that it was taking longer than expected, but they were short-staffed - basically, it was just him and one son doing the mechanics, while the other son was running around town to get parts, but what a team. Recently, I asked JT Motorsports to supply and mount two motorcycle tires. I was surprised to find that the price of these tires was 35% higher than what I paid for the same brand and size two years ago. I attributed this increase to the rising cost of living in Maryland, as my last set was purchased during Sturgis Bike Week at J&P Cycles on a Sunday (Mid-Rally). However, when I received the (1st) invoice, I was stunned to find a charge of $360. I couldn't believe it and thought there must have been an error. Even the staff member seemed surprised. He double-checked the invoice and printed a revised bill of $288. Although this was a reduction, I was still taken aback by the amount, especially since I was expecting to pay closer to my last experience ($200). I reached out to several well-known motorcycle groups to gauge what others would expect to pay for such a service. Most members estimated the cost at around $40 to $80 per tire. In short, I was disappointed with the invoices received and paid. Unless there is an adjustment to their pricing structure, I will not be returning to JT Motorsports for future purchases. It's disappointing because I had hoped to have a nearby reliable establishment for my motorcycle needs.

A friend of mine extended an invitation to accompany her on a trip to Mountain Motors, a used auto dealer in Frederick, MD. She had her eye on a 2008 Subaru Outback listed on their website. During the test drive, we found the Subaru Outback to be in good driving condition, despite its slightly high mileage of 165,000. Given its 16-year age, I'd seen similar models with 3.0L engines on the road reaching close to 275,000 miles. While driving, we noticed a minor vibration in the steering at around 45 miles per hour, and the steering felt a bit tight. However, the fact that the vehicle came with a 30-day warranty reassured us, prompting my friend to proceed with the purchase. About three weeks later, the check engine light illuminated, and the engine started idling irregularly. Promptly contacting their service department, my friend was advised to bring the car in for inspection. Notably, the owner not only provided my friend with his personal cell phone number but also maintained direct communication with her, with me on the line. The car was returned after approximately five days, and to our surprise, it drove even better than during the initial test drive. The dealership had replaced the spark plugs, core packs, and power steering pump, and arranged for a complimentary transmission service. All of these repairs were carried out at no additional cost. Furthermore, one of their mechanics accompanied us on a test drive. Despite initial skepticism fueled by reviews I had read, the individuals at Mountain Motors turned out to be exceptionally courteous, understanding, and efficient in their follow-up. We purchased a used vehicle from Mountain Motors 20 months ago. Unfortunately the motor started to make a noise that sounded like a cam issue. We returned to Mountain Motors and they determined the engine was not repairable. They replaced the motor free of charge....zero out of the pocket cost. They have a used car warranty of 24 months or 24,000 miles. We plan to purchase our next vehicle for another one of our kids in the next few months and will go through Mountain Motors. Their repair shop behind the dealership is Aspen Motors and everyone was extremely courteous and professional. We also have a suburban that has the GM lemon 5.3 Vortec that blew up after only 115,000 miles. Aspen ordered a Jasper motor for our vehicle and replaced the original motor. Poor customer service during covid. Reposess with no hope of retrieve for a mother of 2 children. She lost her job and as soon as she got the money she was told Too Late. Like they gotbpeople knocking down the door to buy cars. Im telling all who will listen dont get a car from here. There is no real job security during pandemic. They capitalize on that and wont even let you retrieve your belongings from the car. That is not serving the community at all. Never never again. read more
