Excellent service with one hiccup…read more We dropped our SUV off more than 10 minutes early for our appointment so we could be picked up to go to worship Sunday morning. Walmart elected to do the work immediately. When we got back to pick it up, we were charged the Installation Fee we'd already paid for online. The Cashier was only able to explain that since we'd been early we had to pay again (he didn't explain that the original fee was already taken off our CC). I was totally frustrated since I was only told I would be paying twice for installation since I was too early for my appointment (not that the first charge would be dropped). The Service Manager stepped in very aggressively; his first question was "Do you understand banking?" I was totally shocked (Masters in Business, worked for the VP of Accounting for a Fortune 100 Corporation, etc.) and realized this was going nowhere so I asked for the Department Manager. He wasn't available, so I was sent to Customer Service. They couldn't explain it, so I paid for the second Installation and left. It wasn't until a few days later when I ran into the Department Manager. He explained the procedure for cancelling the first charge, etc. and some internal stuff with the Employees I wouldn't have known that contributed to the Cashier not being able to explain the situation and the Service Manager being aggressive (he felt he was standing up for the Cashier when that really wasn't necessary - a simple "the first charge will be taken off" would've solved the whole misunderstanding). I will gladly take my car(s) back for Tires, etc.
