The classroom is quiet and calm, giving kids the best environment to learn I have come across as a parent. No over crowding, lots of play time, and help kids begin navigating friendships and conflicts successfully. Having opted for the private Kindergarten, we hate to leave and wish they would add more grade levels.

The parents are very involved with the school and the outdoor environment, is great and green . His teachers (Mrs. Gloria and Mrs. Lyeen) are wonderful. They are dedicated, passionate and intelligent. We know our son is getting individualized attention and they are allowing him to grow at his own pace (i.e., not just at the common denominator of the class). They are cultivating and developing the whole child. We are simply amazed at how much he is learning and advancing. All while becoming a compassionate and polite individual. We always feel supported as a family. They have been great throughout the enrollment process. They are always planning activities and the children are never bored. It's an efficient and well run school. We are enrolling our 3 yr old son given how much his older brother enjoys the school.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in their care for my 2 year old. He would be brought to me with a poopy diaper, dried snot on his face, extremely hungry and thirsty. They were documenting that he was eating 100% of his meals and snacks but he came home famished. They then admitted that they just mark in the computer that all the kids are 100% of their meals. They were going through 35 diapers a week and he was only there 35 hours a week. I started sending 4 diapers a day, then suddenly the same 4 diapers would come home in his bag each day. One time he came home with diapers that were not our brand. The turnover was unacceptable. They were on their 4th director in 1.5 years. The teachers came and went weekly. I never even met my son's teachers. If you wanted to talk to the teacher, you had to make an appointment and then they'd see if they could get classroom coverage for a 5 minute meeting. There was absolutely no communication with the teachers. Any communication was 3rd party through the director. When we started there we were on the 4th page of the sign in log. 3 months later, when we left we were on the 1st page. A lot of families came and went. Owner was not available as he said he would be.

PARENTS BEWARE:…read more Feeding our baby breast milk from a stranger's mother was the final straw. But this was preceded by an instance of walking in on one of the caretakers shaking a crib a little too vigorously for comfort (all the while saying "GO TO SLEEP, GO TO SLEEP...."), and two months later my wife saw an open notebook where the teachers communicate during shift change where she read "fu*#! This MotherF@#$ing place see you all in hell tomorrow..." Given that the well-being of our children are in these people's care while we're off working each day, I'd expect that kind of behavior would result in an immediate firing. But despite our reports, not an apparent slap on the wrist resulted. Our infant was diagnosed with repeat cases of RSV (3 times) and ear infections several times. We feel this has a lot to to with a somewhat apathetic enforcement of their rules for sending sick children home and a generally unsanitary environment overall. This was all a shame, because there were some teachers that we really liked, but we just couldn't wait for another incident. The new daycare that we found was a bit more of a drive, but it's like night and day: When you walk into Young Scholars Academy, it's immediately like day/night from Little Sprouts. Everything is clean, it smells nice, each classroom has a structured curriculum posted with lessons in history, science, etc.. And mostly you can just tell that the vast amount of money you pay goes back onto making the daycare a much better place. At Little Sprouts, it's become very apparent that the money you pay goes into the bank account of a single person who exists behind the curtains. They don't even fill their hand sanitizers, bathrooms have been found to be missing either soap or paper towels (my personal pet peeve). 2 stars out of sympathy mostly, for the few good teachers that have to endure working at this place.

After touring many childcare facilities we finally decided upon Little Sprouts for our newborn. We…read moreare both teachers and love this school. The main pull for us was the organic meals and environmentally friendly approach that Little Sprouts implements. They also have a really nice outdoor play area and animals for the kids!!! The head staff, Sara and Tesa, are amazing individuals. Very caring and always there for you & your kids needs. Another neat thing is that they accept cloth diapers, which very few places will do. They've done a great job with getting my 10 month old into a sleep/nap schedule! This made this momma very happy. Also, the place is wonderfully clean. Everything gets deep cleaned each evening. I'm slightly OCD with cleanliness and I have no problem sitting on the floor and playing with my little one.

The kids there are rude and make the staff's life very difficult if the staff doesn't show dominance and the punishments at this school aren't as harsh as some need to be. The school's food is clearly a little bit unsanitary and a little weird looking sometimes and has caused sicknesses constantly. Students break the dress code all the time and have been caught vaping in bathrooms. I didn't have too much of a hard time there but (most students) are disrespectful and rude and the poor teachers are so worn out and nice that they have to be rude back but then the students just hit harder so if your thinking about going to this school i suggest you come prepared.

But as I watched him walk to the front doors, I knew my lifve would never be the same. This first day at school was horrible for my little tater tot. As soon as he entered the school, he was snatched from his friends by a women who goes by Amy Hamiltion. This women exerts her control over the 6th grade class with a iron fist, a iron fist that she then uses to smash down their indiviuality. When my beloved little boo tried to make a good impression on his first day by trying to be himself, a women by the name of Erika Patino said that no, he couldn't wear a speedo in the building. He also is not allowed to hug random people in the building. As has been mentioned in several other reviews, Mrs. Patino does happen to play a cowbell with such gusto that she nearly blew out my widdle boy's ear drums. It doesnt end there. As a single mom at the age of 25, I was judged by many teachers who thought I was his sister. They even tried to pretend I was a student to fuel their endless gaslighting agendas. Because I am unemployed, I couldn';t give my son a nice homeade lunch. At his first day of school, he bit into a breaded chicken sandwhich-better described at roadkill. He was diagnosed with food poisining, simply because it was raw. That day, I pulled hm from the public school system and now he is homeschooled by yours truly, when I have a break from pouring over the bills. I can only hope he gets his time tables down by senior year. -Lilah Posquinay

They set the standards high and it definitely shows, they even hold conferences for each age group and will sit down and go through everything with you and address any concerns and make sure they help with any goals your child may need a little help with. Everyone is so welcoming and kind the minute you walk through the door; Mrs. Emma and Ms. Wendy have always answered all of our questions in a timely manner and are just so helpful. Ms. Wendy actually was in the infant room with our first when we first started attending LSP and she made the transition so easy and was always let us know that our daughter would be in good hands! It was a true comfort when you drop your first child off in a new place, but she always put our minds at ease and you could tell how much she cared for the children! Mrs. Heike was the infant teacher for our son and you can truly tell she loves all of the infants in her care and she is always communicates all the adorable things our son did or his accomplishments at that age. Our kids have since moved up in classrooms and the teachers along the way have been so fantastic! Ms. Elysia has helped to make our sons transition and drop off easier in the morning once he got older and drops offs became harder for him. She also pays such close attention to any of concerns and even gave me the links to the ASL the kids are learning to help us work with our son the very specific things they learned that day in class so we can help him work on his speech and ASL at home! She is truly just so wonderful! Ms. Lyuba his other teacher is always so kind! She makes sure to ask us how our day was and to make sure she shares something unique about our sons day or something he did that day and it's just so lovely knowing that when we are away at work he has such a wonderful teacher paying such close attention to him and celebrating his little successes! As for our daughter her current teachers have just helped to make her blossom! Ms. Aliyah (Aly) has been so great in helping us with our daughter and her speech and just really finding her voice! She has been so patient and kind and willing to help us with whatever her speech therapist has recommended! Mrs. Kim has made our daughters day multiple times by changing her hairdo into something more spectacular than what we sent her with that day, it literally is sometimes the highlight of her day! And it means so much to have someone make someone so small feel so darn special! And the floaters Ms. Seven and Ms. Kaley are also so amazing in helping out and dotting on the children and helping them learn along the way! Both of our children have learned and grown so much while at LSP! There has never been a day that our oldest has not loved her day! I could go on forever about how amazing this place is and how grateful we are for the care and curriculum the kids learn! So thank you LSP we are truly so blessed to have such amazing and loving teachers for our children!
