Plenty of pieces to look at right out front of the shop iron beds , shelves, cast iron urn planters , wooden head and foot boards , desks , and so much more inside . This is an Antique shoppers dream . Pieces dating back to the 1800's . Mrs. Long an antique herself,(I mean this with the upmost respect ) preserved perfectly. Her blonde hair carefully set in place , lipstick on, sitting behind the counter reading her paper . Sitting as still as a mannequin . She glances up over her glasses to greet anyone entering . Upon entering you will find wall to wall beautiful furniture , trunks , stoneware jugs, quilts , crochet dollies , dishes and much much more . This is the real deal of antiques . Pull out the credit card some of the prices start at $900.00 and go up from there . Mrs. Long says she's been in the Antique business since the 60's and her son Burt has been buying since he was 12 years old . She has passed her antique buying and dealing know how onto her son Burt . He is the one buying all the genuine pieces here now . He buys at least one piece a week . Family owned businesses are great . Mrs. Long still lives here in the property. Very nice lady . Oh and make sure you give Chipper a scratch behind the ears . He's the white and black cat keeping all the mice away .

Just before exiting Luray, we spotted Endless Deals. Basically, it's a mixture of antiques,…read morecollectibles, furniture, glassware, toys, and a whole slew of odds and ends. My girl spotted a large pail with a mirror in it - designed to be mounted on a wall. It had a great patina on it and she loves eclectic things like that. I also picked up a repro-antique of a carousel horse / tricycle. The back of the cavernous place was filled with CHristmas stuff and the front of the place was stocked with inflatable Christmas decor and backyard furniture. My only negative remark is the fact that do NOT accept plastic - ATM or credit cards, so we had to find an ATM machine and withdraw cash. They do not accept checks either. I guess you could call the place, "Cash & Carry." Lots of neat stuff to be found here.

When I got it home I realized it was only lacquered paint on the glass and when I went to remove the tape from it where the price tag was placed on it, the paint began to peel off and fell to the floor in large areas. I took it back the very next business day to show what had happened and the owner/employee refused to stand good for the product. It had been hanging outdoors on the covered entrance for nearly a year, and I suspect the heat of summer months and then the freezing and thawing of cold winter months had caused the paint to deteriorate, and when brought inside to room temperature the paint began to crack and peel in large areas, thus ruining the piece. The employee made it clear there are no refunds. I asked for store credit instead, but she also declined that, treating me like some joe blow who was trying to rip them off. I left the store and left the piece there as it was of no value at all with the paint chipping off in large areas. I have pictures of it. I will not ever return to this store.

This small-town appliance store is an absolute gem, and I couldn't recommend it more highly. From the moment you walk in, it's clear that customer satisfaction is their top priority. Lee and Brian are knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely invested in finding the right appliance for your needs. A while back we purchased a big green egg there and had a wonderful experience and at that point we promised we'd never buy an appliance any place else. Fast-forward a few months and we found ourselves with a broken dishwasher and washing machine all the week leading up to Thanksgiving. I called over and jokingly said that I'm your dream. Customer that if you have the product in stock and can install it this week. I'll be over with cash in hand. Lee and Brian appreciated my willingness, yet still went out of their way to make sure we got the right appliance and best deal (thanks Black Friday). They got us up and running and saved our Thanksgiving. Best of all, they service what they sell, and in a changing landscape of limited, trusted appliance repair options, this is a huge selling feature. Do not go anywhere else. For anyone in need of quality appliances with service you can trust, this is the place to go. Support local, support family-owned, and experience the difference. Five stars, every time!
