Not only do they have the latest Ashley line, but they also have a number of hard to find, American made, furniture lines (Vaughn-Basset, England Furniture, Lazyboy, etc.) at way better prices than bigger stores are able or willing to offer. I now live in Florida, but I still purchase my furniture from L and L whenever possible. I just ordered a full bedroom set from them, which compelled me to write this review. I bought the furniture from L and L, rented a U-Haul to get it to Florida, and I still saved thousands from what it would've cost to purchase the same set closer to my home in Florida. Their prices are that good! But not only was the furniture priced way better than I could find anywhere else, the customer service I received from the L and L team (from the owner on down) was unmatched. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, but never pushy. Plus, my custom order of American made, American oak furniture from L and L arrived more quickly than it took in stock furniture I ordered from a national chain to be delivered from their own warehouse! And when I had questions about how to assemble my new furniture, the L and L team texted me pictures from the showroom and talked me through the process. I only write reviews when I find a stand out business and this is one is worth writing home about. In fact, when I told my best friend who lives in SC about my experience with L and L, I was surprised to learn that she also buys her furniture at L and L, instead of in SC for all the same reasons! If you're local or just visiting the area, highly recommend checking them out! You won't be disappointed!

Now I understand that there is now a shipping issue which originally started as a back order. I have a problem that the sales people at the local level have no further explanation as to what the shipping issue is exactly, because the hierarchy has not given them any information as to what the specific problem is. My delivery date was originally late September to early October and it is just now mid September and yet they already know in advance that it's gonna be more like November? My issue is how do you know it's going to be that late in November yet have no other explanation than" it's a shipping issue." So is has me wondering and asking, Is it a shipping issue? Is it that they can't keep up with the orders? According to the sales person that I spoke with they said they're still able to put in orders! I am thinking wait what? so my question is why are they even continuing to order items from this company when they can't even get orders that people are already currently waiting to receive? Back order on popular nice looking furniture is one thing But continuing to place orders with back orders in place now on further delay because of some shipping delay of unknown cause? This is not reassuring. And let me just add that we also are making payments on the furniture that we do not have! Now to be fair, I will say we were told we would likely start payments before we received or furniture but this was in August and we were looking at the order being out a month to six weeks out due to back order, not shipping issues!. So we didn't have an understanding that it's they'll be delivered pretty much whenever we get it. Now while I'm speaking for myself, I also do not think that it is right to keep taking orders for this specific company that apparently is out of Vietnam, but again that information came from the guy that sold me my furniture. So my next question to the sales guy was, is the next call gonna be this company is no longer in business? That is when the sales person then followed up with, "no in fact we're still able to take a orders for the company." This is bad and there is no other couch like this one in particular that I am aware of so we are hoping all comes through. I just hope furniture row orders a warehouse full of this item in case there are issues with anything coming. that no one has to wait to receive a replacement! why run out of something if you realize it is a popular item! whoever does inventory needs a new job or whoever doesn't allow extra inventory because of budgets. This is a ludicrous circumstance!

This place truly lacks customer service. They lack it so much they don't even know how to spell…read morecustomer service. I went with my parents to buy 4 rocking chairs and two small end tables. My mom asked if they had a military discount, my dad is in the Air Force. The lady literally said "I've sold furniture all day and no one has asked for a discount." First, we were buying them regardless, and a lot of people give a military discount and there is no harm in asking especially Memorial Day weekend. The lady was so rude. She found someone else who said we could have 5% off but we had to pay check or cash, if we paid credit card we had to pay full price?! What?! That isn't a military discount that is a CASH discount when you have to pay cash or check?! So we finally bought them. $2,220.93. This was not a cheap purchase. They promised to deliver and then said it was $60 to deliver less than 3 miles. So we decided to make several trips to pick them up, since we could make the trip to and from I less than 5 mins. We got back and our 4 chairs which we paid dearly for, are sitting I the PARKING LOT! We picked them up and on our last trip we in to tell them we got them, had our receipt if we needed it, and they older lady "we don't care." So yeah, I would not even buy a dang plant from this place. It's my mission to make sure they never treat anyone like this again, especially someone who fought for their freedom.
