My wife and I started working inside the house to hurry things along, swearing we would not pay him any more than we already had! After many attempts to work with him, Mr. Clark (The Owner) informed us that "Neighbor's Choice" had gone out of business, but he would not require us to pay the remainder of what we OWED HIM!! Not even half of the work was completed after we paid him more than half the money! We found out from his sub-contractor that Ken gave him the job with very few details and had only paid him $10K! We tried to reason with The Owner to get the other $7K back since the only work he had done on the project was to collect our check. But, pirates never give back the booty! RUN from Neighbor's Choice Remodeling or any business with which The Owner is associated!!!
