Ain't no party like a Yelp party with swag and raffle prizes to boot. Endless libations and creative concoctions made by Marin's finest mixologists using Larceny Bourbon sponsor of the party. My personal favorite was the cocktail "Thieving Woods" from Barrel House cocktail creator Alexa (only female bartender in the house)...rooted for girl power; although, the judges placed her 2nd. First place went to Julio from Playa & Cavallo Point Pierre was 3rd. Everyone had skills at the Lighthouse from from Belcampo to Piazza D'Angelo. As we know, Sake is an alcoholic drink that is originally from japan and is made by fermenting rice. Very strong and with a strange taste, Sake is very good and is now gaining popularity. I have seen it in many asian grocery stores with varrying flavors and types such as jello shot in a can or with gold flakes. Sake day is on October 1 and signifies the start of sake production in japan according to google. Now it is celebrated internationally. I am excited to participate in it this year! Super cool.

Coastal Cleanup Day 2019 was finally here and EAC had teamed up with the Ovster companies of…read moreTomales Bay and Marconi Conference Center to make it a success. Volunteers spread out over land and seat to collect trash and recyclables from beaches and roadsides around the bay. It was a beautiful day to collect trash. After a couple hours of work we all met back at Marconi for the after party which included local beer and cheeses but best of all, oysters straight from the bay. Thanks to all sponsors and volunteers the event was a huge success.
