I trusted Dr. Taylor's choice and feel he did well. For over a year now I have gone in for my regular checkups at Dr. Reeder's office with no problems. In February, 2018 I realized I needed a hip replacement. I saw my primary care doctor, as advised, for my pre-op evaluation and was cleared for surgery. Then two weeks before I was scheduled for my hip replacement surgery I discovered a problem in my mouth. I called Dr. Reeder's office explained my concern. They got me in to the office immediately. After examining my mouth Dr. Reeder discovered I had an abscess under one of my teeth. Knowing I was going in for major surgery he set out to help me address the problem which included having a permanent bridge installed. This went forward amazingly smoothly because he has the latest technology at his fingertips and a wonderful support staff. Due to no fault of Dr. Reeder, or his support staff, the bridge didn't arrive by UPS as promised the Thursday before my scheduled surgery on Tuesday of the following week. He learned that it was at the distribution site in St. Johnsbury. The next morning, Friday, he drove over personally and picked up my permanent bridge and had me into his office at 12:00 PM calmly putting it into my mouth. I left an hour later ready for surgery and five weeks post-surgery I can happily report I have no complications from either procedure. If you are looking for a capable, caring, compassionate dentist I highly recommend Dr. Reeder. He is exceptional in the field of dentistry and cares about his patients health and well-being. I feel the same about his stellar support staff. They all work together to help make dental care go smoothly.

I have had root canals in the past without problems. On one such occasion, three years ago, I was referred to an endodontist in the Portland area. At the last minute my appointment was switched by their office from the endodontist my dentist referred me to, to a different endodontist within the same practice. To say he was unprofessional in his manner and aroused a feeling in me that he was not as competent in his skills as I had expected is to say the least. I have since had two friends tell me they had similar experiences with the same endodontist. That appointment left me with severe apprehensions about ever having to go to another endodontist in this area if need should arise. Unfortunately, the need did arise, and my dentist reassured me when she referred me this time to Oak Hill Endodontics that whomever I got an appointment with, either Dr. Tangredi or Dr. Sebow, they would allay my concerns. WOW! This place is seriously fantastic. Long-time dentist avoider here, and honestly? I'm floored…read morewith them. First, 3D Xray, so they get a really accurate look at what's happening. Comforting, as I had 5 roots in one tooth. This allowed them to know what they were dealing with in advance of my root canal (which is fairly important). Dr Lucier worked on my teeth and she has SUCH a gentle touch with her anesthesia needle. Every other needle I've ever had was WILDLY painful (and dreaded on my part), but she put in just a little bit, let it get numb, then put in more, (which I didn't feel as it was numb) and slowly, so it really didn't hurt (all my other dentists did it all at once and usually had my eyes tearing with pain). Seriously, SUCH a treat! I had two root canals and they were so mellow. I honestly fell asleep during them. It was that comfortable. And btw, they were ready for me on time, moved me along quickly, but without hurrying, AND had a really nice waiting room with legitimately good reading material. Gang, I can not recommend these women enough. They are fantastic on all fronts.

I selected my Insurance "Metlife" for Retired Military, based on Circle Dental's availability…read morestatus as "Accepting New Patients- YES". I called Circle Dental to set up an appointment, and they told me that they weren't accepting Signa or Metlife because of a "Pay Discrepancy" and that "If I had Delta Dental, they would accept me". When I called my insurance back and reported this to them, they said Circle dental had not informed them of the "no new patients", I requested them to call and verify. Still, when MetLife called Circle Dental, Circle reported that it was due to overall "Patient Capacity" There is a significant discrepancy here between what they are telling patients and what they are telling insurance companies. These two calls happened today and within an hour of each other.
