Had a communuted displaced clavicle with acromium fracture. The bill totaled over $92,000. The titanium plate was $14,000, titanium screws from $4,000 to $2,000 a piece. I was pleased with the surgery and attention at the hospital but the amount of garbage attached to my bill was absolutely heinous. My out of pocket was over $5000 and that is with a 10% discount for paying my bill. read more

Just extremely rude and overall not understanding. the two women at the front desk were giving me attitude and being rude because i was a little late after getting lost. I just moved here not too long ago and was trying to get a new primary but honestly I'll just go anywhere else if it means im treated like a human. I'm sure the doctors are great but the front desk turned me off. There was also paperwork everywhere and all of the desks looked messy and unorganized. I don't think I would want to trust them with any of my documentation. read more

They treated me great, doctor was excellent great job. They lost my brand new prescription glasses. Six months later I'm still waiting for finance to approve it. Numerous emails and phone call and very rarely get a response. I'm disabled on a very tight budget, and can't afford another $550.00. So I've been doing without seeing too well for a good six months. I've been getting headaches from straining to see. I didn't realize I didn't have my glasses until after my surgery, being that my mind was on the surgery but I called them within 15 minutes of leaving the hospital. They said they were going to look and call me back. When they finally got back they said they couldn't find them. Being that I am disabled, I have enough problems without being able to see. Very depressed and losing hope. They really should make this right. read more

Been here twice. First time the wait was 4 hours of waiting to spend ten minutes with the doctor. Didn't mind terribly much because it was busy, but they had seemed short staff. The doctor was helpful. Went back today and didn't have the quickest visit but whatever. The reason I'm leaving a 1 star review is because of the following: I went in for UTI symptoms, and requested a full panel because you can never be too certain/comfortable these days. I WORK IN THE FEILD, so I was pretty confident it would be a UTI. Came back negative. Got home and looked at the paperwork and it says we discussed my "high risk sexual behavior." We did no such thing !!! Nor would i describe why I requested a panel as my OWN "high risk activity." I am in a long distance relationship, have been for around a year. Feels victim blamey, not that I should have to discuss my business publicly as I am a grown, adult woman. Now that's on my permanent chart with all of the Mountainview Clinics Seems prejudice and judgmental. Thank you MountainView for making a hard, bad doctors visit even worse than it needed to be !!! Worse experience ever. I feel I totally tasted my time. I caught something during Christmas. I cough and throat hurt a lot. Also have hard time to breathe at night. Since the symptoms has lasted for more than a week and does not seems get better, I decided to see a doctor. Long story short. After a long wait, I finally saw the NP Michael Zavala. He came in with a some printed out paper and started to tell me what medications he prescribed for me. Of course steroid, antibiotics, and some spray for my throat. I told him that I worry about having pneumonia since the long last symptom. He did not check/listen to my lung or do anything. He does not want to know about my symptoms. It seems the whole purpose he was there is to prescribe those medication to his patients. If I do not have infection, I do not want antibiotics. The provider like him causes the Antimicrobial Resistance of their patients. I will never go back to that place again to waste my time. The front desk and nurse are pretty good. read more

DON'T GO HERE!!! 2years prior: They are awful. I went there last around 2 years ago to get a check up on my back because it starts hurting. I believe her name was Dr. Pacheco, she came in and started to talk to me instead about my diet, getting on birth control and telling me that my significant other is obese and I should be encouraging him to lose weight. (I'm 5'10 and weighed around 200 which isn't that bad, she was the same size as me) She got me a blood test with a nurse who couldn't even draw blood out from either of my arms and recommended me going next door instead. Then right towards the end I reminded her again before the doctor left what about my back pain. She simply just popped my back and said bye. Present day: I have had this birth control implant for two years and is simply tired of being an emotional mess so I called the clinic about removing it. They told me they don't do removals and to go to another doctor to remove it... DON'T GO HERE!!! read more

I recently tried to make an appointment with an orthopedic doctor using the MVH online scheduler. This was one of the most useless poorly designed attempts at a service that was intended to help your clientele that I have encountered.. Finally called the office number, which I should have done in the first place, and was able to get an appointment. I was not able to get in for four more days but at least I got a time and date. I was in your ER two times. Ideally the ER doctor that saw me initially and said I needed to see an orthopedic doctor, had been able to schedule an appointment for me through your system, it would have totally improved an otherwise traumatic event. Horrible System that is scamming the insurance industry and the patients!! If you are really so sick or injured that you have to see a doctor right away go to the hospital or find a regular primary care doctor! If you go here be aware that you are going to be charged a crazy amount for the visit and you better have great insurance that doesn't mind being overcharged for minimal care. I went in to have a blister on my heal looked at that was really painful and was not healing. I was worried about an infection. *I did not have insurance at the time and was ready to pay out of pocket*. I told the receptionist this information and she gave me a bill for $80 which I had to mark the box I understood that the FULL payment was due at time of service. So I paid the $80. I saw a CFNP after a 30 minute wait who never even took the bandaid off to look at my wound. I was prescribed an antibiotic and told to keep it clean. (5 min visit tops) So off I go... I then received TWO more bills. One from Las Cruces Physician Services for $208 for outpatient visit that was adjusted down to $36.48 after my $80 pmt and a credit of "provider adjustment". THEN I got a bill from Mountainview Regional Medical Center for $311 (no explanation of what for) adjusted down to $108.85 for self pay discounts. When I called to ask why after signing the document that said full payment was due at time of service I got two other bills I was told the doctor bills separately for his services and there is a $311 charge for simply walking in the building. I can't even imagine how much they would have charged me if I had insurance. No wonder insurance is so expensive they are being fleeced by a healthcare system that is ridiculously charging for literally NOTHING! read more

If your looking for an Urgent Care, I highly recommend Mountan View on Valley, wait time was minimal, I checked in online, so may have helped, the gentleman that checked me was really nice and polite, told me about what they charged, which I felt was very reasonable, the nurses were great, my provider Melanie was so kind and empathetic, we discussed my problem, she examined me, then we spoke about what she thought I needed, explained everything about the procedure and then she fixed my problem, I was in and out in less than 2 hours and am feeling SO much better. read more

I had to go in today because of extreme vomiting during the night and couldn't keep anything down not even fluids. I was worried because I'm 8 months pregnant. Everyone on the staff was extremely nice from the front desk receptionists & nurses to the CFNP (Brian Lara) who treated me. I was diagnosed with dehydration and stomach flu. They got an IV in me right away and within 15 minutes I was already feeling better. Three people checked in on me frequently to make sure my baby and I were doing ok. They were VERY professional, kind and extremely helpful the whole time I was there. I was feeling much better when I left. The whole staff turned my worries into calm relief. I'm going to give them 5 stars because the doctors are amazing but the front office staff not so much. The billing department is terrible and the check in girl is terribly rude and unprofessional. Many of the front desk staff are great but the one check in girl is making the whole place suffer. I am very satisfied with the nurses and doctors. waited over an hour to be seen yet saw multiple people who walked in after us go in first. they told me it was because it was 3 of us, myself with a fever and 2 kids and they needed so a large room to accommodate all of us. when we got in it was the same small rooks i have always been in. now another hour later after being examined still waiting to be finished stuck in a tiny room with 2 kids who have been here for 2 hours, suck, tired and hungry. thought about going somewhere else and should have listened to my instincts. now i'm going to pass out because i'm exhausted read more
