Terrible improve everything about this place, the curriculum is crappy. The teachers aren't motivated to teach, the guidance counselors do a half-asked job, and either try too hard and ruin it or don't try at all. The programs aren't meeting any standards, the principal is terrible and doesn't do anything, other than pass out food or yell at students. Truly a terrible school. Guidance counselors feeding kids nonsense, using specific buzz words to get them to repeat back, then call CPS on you. Without fielding the situation whatsoever or knowing anything about family history. Teachers are terrible, security is weak even though us tax payers paid for a new locking system last year that never got implemented. Theres kids smoking in the bathrooms. Cirriculum is terrible. My daughter is switching schools next year and when the new school did her placement testing there was stuff on there she has never even seen before and she is a grade and a half behind grade level. read more

I disagree with these other reviews I am a student currently but n seventh grade, who cares we have to say the anthem it's part of our culture some of the curriculum is slow however if you are put in a higher class(what you should try to do) give you a challenge... food is in my opinion below average and could be improved but this year different foods have been tried as well as drinks which are all very good.
