I have been going to Mountain View Pediatrics for about 5 months for our 9 month old son. The office environment is always so friendly and helpful. They have seen him multiple times for his monthly check-ups and his nurse is absolutely amazing. She has always answered any questions or concerns and eased my mind. The interactions with the nurses and doctors is always positive and I highly recommend this establishment for anyone looking for high quality pediatric care. p.s We do not live in Flagstaff, however the hour drive for us is worth it :) read more

I've been taking my 9 week old son to Mountain View since he was born. Being a first time mom and incredibly anxious, he's been there a bunch in his short life. His primary pediatrician is Dr. Berger, but all of the practitioners and nurses there have been lovely, caring, professional and so kind. Dr. Berger is great- I always feel heard out, and my concerns no matter how small are taken seriously. I love the layout of their waiting room- they have a check in and waiting area for healthy kids and babies, and a separate check in and waiting area for those with illnesses, which I appreciate. They even have hours on the weekends, which is great if there's something that needs to be checked out but doesn't warrant urgent care or the ER. I absolutely recommend Mountain View Pediatrics to anyone. read more

The appointment process is ridiculous, you call to make an appointment and then have to wait for a a call back. So they can't actually make an apt they just take your name and number and have someone call you back to then make the appointment, but they can not say when they will call you back just in the next 24 hours. So unless you have the luxury to sit by your phone and wait for a phone call then chances are you will miss the call and will have to call back only for them to tell you that you are going to have to wait for a phone call and then the ridiculous pattern of missing phone calls and not being able to get your sick child an appoitmeco tongues. Am I the only one who see this as absurd? The manager was an idiot when I called. If my daughter wasn't already established her I'd go elsewhere. Another shitty part of living in flagstaff, the healthcare options are complete shit. read more

It's funny to think that I used to be seen here as a kid and now MY kids go here. There are actually a few familiar faces from way back when too! Everyone from their front office (Shanee and Kathy) to back office- we loved Dr. Rand but she retired and we now love Dr. Bosch are amazing at what they do. We've had to see other physicians on short notice for illness or little things that popped up and we have yet to have a bad experience. I would DEFINITELY recommend taking your children here. They are professional, knowledgeable and experienced and most importantly, kind. read more

We found the management, not the doctors, at Mountain View Pediatrics is terrible. - My baby had a fever, and we called for two days, but they never called back. - I called them on November 8th to make an appointment for a one-year-old check-up. They did not have any time until December 30th (52 days later!). Although, after many calls and begging, they let us see the doctor a few days later. - My baby needs a 15-month-old vaccination now, but they don't have any time even for a quick vaccination (not a Dr. visit) until December 20th (3 weeks later!) I talked to one of the managers about the problems with making appointments. She said they don't have enough providers and nurses, and they are planning to hire new providers. We have given up on them and moved to a new practice. read more

Love Mountain View Peds! Primary doctor for my little one is Hayward, she is amazing and I love her as the doctor. I was able to have Deleva while still in the hospital after birth and I enjoyed her too! I have seen one other doctor when my child was sick but I don't recall her name. But everyone in there is great and they do their best to get you in when you're little one is under the weather, they have an option to talk to an on call nurse when out of office hours, and even during office hours you can talk to a nurse before scheduling an appointment. Wouldn't choose any other doctors than here. Even with covid they have gone above and beyond with check ins and separate entrances/exits for healthy and sick children. read more

Our daughters have been seeing Dr DeLeva for the past few years. After having the same doctor down in Phoenix for their entire lives we had some reservations about changing doctors when we moved up north. These reservations were unfounded, she is absolutely amazing. Interacts with the girls as if they are her own. We are so happy to have found Dr DeLeva and MVP. read more

I moved up here from the valley in July 2021. My children have been seen here twice because the lack of communication on EVERY front from this office. They mark they return calls when they don't (truly have not gotten a phone call back ever from them). The appointments took 2+ hours and i even had to go check back in with the desk to make sure we weren't forgotten about. My son got his 15 months shot and reacted which has NEVER happened before as well as now has a huge physical visible lump on his leg and when i call to check with the doctor I get told I will receive a call back by the end of the day, said call never comes in. And when I called to check in I am told oh well we tried to call you back, when in fact there was no call ever made to me. I have now as of today pulled both my children from this office and will be traveling the 200+ miles to the valley to their old doctor who understands what simple communication is! this kind of "care" is beyond unacceptable when it comes to children! I will never refer someone to this office. read more

I have to say this place comes highly recommended, well I am not the bit impressed with it. We keep getting Dr. Tuckman who in all reality is condescending and talks way to fast. I believe he is robotic at this point with the things he says, he does not even consider the fact that I have had children before and understand what to do but still he spews out the same garbage in a tone like we don't know shit and he knows everything. I am over this crap! He's kind of an ass in my opinion! We picked Berger for Dr. but have hardly seen her. She's really good. I'd see her if she had her own practice!!! As long as I don't have to see tuckman, I am good. Berger is great! Tuckman is the only reason I don't offer more stars because he does not shine in my eyes! ;) read more

We have seen several pediatricians here for my son and daughter. They have all been excellent but two have been stellar. Dr. McGarey is so thorough and makes sure that she spends time with you so that you completely understand what is going on. Her nurse is excellent and so compassionate! Dr. Hayward goes above and beyond what I would ever have expected with a pediatrician. She has been working with us on some issues with my daughter and she is amazing. She calls after hours, collaborates with other physicians and always makes time for us. I can't speak highly enough about her. She is just an incredible doctor and a caring person. I highly recommend this practice and both of these physicians. read more

I had my baby in December of 2015 and Dr. Tuckman was her pediatrician at the hospital so we just decided to continue with his care and have had the best experiences. We switched all of our kids to this location and everyone we saw there was amazing. I'm usually a freak out type of mother and Dr. Tuckman is usually good at calming my nerves and reassuring me that everything is fine. I've been very happy with all the Drs at Mountain Pediatrics. My kids have been going there for 6 years now. Everyone is friendly and my kids love Dr Bosch. All the Drs are great. We've been really pleased with Dr. Tuckman, as well as the other Doctor we've seen on an urgent basis. The staff takes appropriate time with patients, and listens. I really appreciate the Saturday and Sunday availability, so that urgent issues can be taken care of by a ped at an appointment, not a random adult urgent care provider after a long wait. Wait times for appointment are usually 5 minutes or less. read more
