My sister bought this expensive unit for her health. The…read moredisplay panel stopped working after 8 months and it took Hydroworx 15 months to replace the panel. The treadmill worked intermittently and this has been reported to Hydroworx last year only to be addressed by sending a technician recently who then said the treadmill was fine and again it stopped working after he left. The pool heater arrived not working, discovered by the installer and was quickly replaced by the company as it was within warranty period. The second heater did not work after one year and she had to install a gas heater instead. The service technician who was sent over for checking the treadmill then found that the heater wires were buned, he replaced the wires and adjusted the water flow. well that turned out to be a disaster, when the heater was turned on, the pool pump breaker tripped and all units shut down. Now the treadmill is completely non functioning! Be aware, the warranty period as stated by Hydroworx for 5 years was only for the fiberglass unit, the other moving parts ( jets, pump, heater, treadmill ) is only ONE year ( Note the gas heater she installed separately had warranty period for 2 years which is standard for heaters ). So when the service technician came over to the site, the owner assumed it was still under the warranty period and found out that there is labor cost involved of $125/hour to fix the heater. ( the bill she received was for labor cost of $250/ hour)

Clean and a decent functional area HOWEVER they refuse to fix the air bikes (I've been asking for…read moremonths), they don't let you use dumbbells in the functional area (anyone else do devils presses or dumbbell cleans/snatches?). Just a bunch of really dumb rules. Shoes... really? Most people do deadlifts in socks because that's what's SAFE. Deadlifting in shoes is a great way to pull the old back. Yeah, I get you don't want people walking around in socks but to perform a movement in one place is perfectly reasonable. Please fix your bikes. Some of us are limited in what cardio equipment we can use. Also, look into a new leg press and adductor/abductor machines. They don't give full range. The leg press forces sheer force on the knees that's super painful. It's pretty much unusable if you have any OA in your knees.

The staff at the Carlisle YMCA childcare center lacks many things.. They are all young volunteers…read moreor young "teachers" who have no children of their own to offer real life experience. Communication amongst the center is terrible. Everyone will say how wonderful your child is & then the director will send you a nasty message bringing something to your attention you weren't even aware of.. save your time & money. Unless you want your child to be thrown on the playground with children of all ages ranging from 1-5 years old for most of the day with their expectation of them all acting right... They are good at throwing parties for the kids but god forbid a 1 year old doesn't know how to properly regulate their emotions or have better impulse control they'll start making accusations that your kid has a developmental problem... not to mention, after having our son evaluated by his doctor he was certain the daycare was the issue & insinuated they were not equipped to handle children's normal developmental behaviors. Most importantly, the fact that the directors daughter was starting in our sons class was the prime reason he was kicked out after being given SEVEN days to turn his behavior around, A ONE YEAR OLD. The situation is laughable, since it's clear they don't know how to handle the children at their center. While they only had 3 students in his classroom, the new center we recently switched to has 16 & they truly know how to handle each and every one of them all at the same time!

Wow! There's so much…read moregoing on at this Y! I was here to conduct a PT test for my company, but I wished I had time for a swim, workout, or something after the fact. It's a bit of a maze finding your way around, but wow, the amenities are amazing. I'm a member of my local Y, which includes the use of about 10 locations, but this one is NOICE! For one, there are several pools. One for laps, another with 2 lap lanes and for swim lessons, and there's what looks like a little swim park for kids. There's another small pool that wasn't in use. I wasn't sure what that one was for. The indoor track is a bit small, but they keep it cool. A volleyball team was practicing on the basketball court below, which could be seen from the track. There's a big cardio room and to the side you'll find strength training machines and some free weights. There's also a large day care center on the left side of the building. So many kids came pouring out it must be a large space! The staff is very friendly and of course there's plenty of seating to sit in the front lobby. There are also high tables where several people were seated drinking coffee and on their computers. This is a very nice Y.

The YMCA is a place filled with fun and skilled activities such as a track, basketball court,…read moreracquetball court, and several workout areas. To top it all off there is a kids room! The cost is expensive but worth it. The only thing I would do better is the service. I went there today so before that we tried to get a raquetball court but the guy wasn't attentive or anything. Otherwise great place highly recommended
