I was impressed with the variety and quality of arcade games, truly something for everyone, kids and adults. Prices about what you'd expect. Unfortunately I went to the counter to purchase $11 on my game card for go karts, however when I arrived at the track I was told it was closed because there were puddles. Understandable the weather isn't anyone's fault. However why wasn't the front counter told to warn people the go karts were closed and not sell admission. Worst customer service I have ever had at an establishment. My family saw a coupon in clipper magazine and decided it was a gorgeous Labor Day to enjoy some mini golf. When we arrived, the coupon would not work. We spent an hour between three phones trying to get the coupon to work. Manager told us it was a known issue, but they refused to accommodate. We had an actual buy one get one free coupon, and knowing they had a known issue with the other QR code coupon, they still refused to just honor the physical coupon twice to give us the same value. As someone who works in customer service, this was a very poor approach. I guess they feel they make enough money that they don't care. Go somewhere else who actually appreciates you as a customer and not just another dollar figure! read more

I booked a birthday party for my 14 year old son recently. We were all very happy with how everything turned out. The price is kind of high but when you consider everything that you get, I believe it to be very reasonable. The pizza was quite tasty and the ice cream cake was from Turkey Hill. The party room is bright and full of windows. I was impressed with it. Our hostess, Mikayla, was awesome. My son had chosen mini golf and go-karts for his party but because of the weather, the go-karts was closed. So, they gave us arcade cards instead. We were asked the day before if we wanted to reschedule the party which I think is a very reasonable option but wasn't something we could do. I would highly recommend booking your party here. It looked like a place in the middle of nowhere. It was good to have fun. Via after covid-19 and going green no one was wearing mask inside with some employees. Go cars were fun but no one did any cleaning of the wheels or anything else. Including tables when people left which I would get anything to eat again. They have a arcade but I don't know if they clean there either so I don't think I would. It rained and after we played mini golf they warned us about puddles which is nice but filled with water holes and I wonder with other stuff. I don't know I didn't feel right telling a manager and the staff was no chillant and didn't seem in a hurry. Oh no mask rules. Decent prices and I know one thing we will go back to finish and have fun but via covid-19 if you want to be safe and follow the rules or any cleaning. This place was so much fun it took me back to my childhood. I probably play mini golf 15 to 20 times a year and this is better than most. This location is easy to find with ample parking. Staff was very friendly. Site was clean and well maintained as well as clubs and golf balls. Only drawback - greens were a little soggy in areas but likely due to rain the day before. Only one course to choose from. It was pretty easy, but still fun and I managed to get a hole in one! Woohoo! of the two miniature gold courses close to Hershey park, this is the easier of the two. We got through the course in around 45 minutes, that was no bad with how many people were on the course with us. It never got dull and even with folks in front of us and behind us we weren't pressured to move quickly. We got to take our time and enjoy it! Will be back again. They also have an arcade inside that was pretty decent, A bunch of ticket games, a few claw machines, and some regular arcade games. They have machines that vend cards for the games. They also have go carts, bumper boats, batting cages, and a few other things, I did not try any of them so I can not say how they are. Overall good mini golf course, that is close to Hershey park, it is worth coming to if you are in the area. Great place for fun activities with your kids. We went to Hershey Park on Saturday and the crowds were as bad as Times Square everywhere you turned. Went to Adventure Sports on Sunday and it was a refreshing change. You can easily burn through money here but if you know that going in, you are good. The variety of activities was impressive. Nice place to drop a 100 bucks on 3 boys who had a good time . . Go Karts were excellent ride and value . Bumper boats were 9$ a person which was expensive you get 5 minutes on them, they set a timer, takes 2 min for kids to figure how to move them around . We were only ones there so could of let them stay on longer . We did not use the batting cages, laser tag or miniature golf. The kids did game room and they liked it . Won tickets for prizes . Mini-golf: The mini-golf here is 4/5 stars. It is probably my favorite course in the Hershey area and in my experience the most well maintained. Greens are typically in good condition and the course has a variety of challenges. There aren't many options for good mini-golf in this area, but I enjoy this place. Go-karts: Cars have good speed, the place smells like oil and gasoline and when the track gets full it has that nice feeling of danger that makes go-karting fun (I am not saying it is dangerous). I don't believe you are in danger. But that feeling. That you get when someone might RAM you. BAM! That is the fun part. You are not allowed to ram though. They have rules. Arcade: I have not been to the arcade since the recent remodel. Let me review the machines as I remember them. Of course who can forget Big Haul. I hope they haven't gotten rid of this classic. As you remember from your child hood days the man says "Try again, dieselhead!" when you miss. You don't remember the game (a mis-spent youth)? Well, you take your token (a.k.a quarter or 25 cent) and place it into the slot at JUST the right time. It must hit the flag on top of the Dump Truck. If you hit the flag, it bends back and then JACKPOT, the tokens that are in the truck slide out the bag and the man screams WOO HOO. Or maybe a horn beeps. I can't really recall. Great fun. I will say they had two Big Haul machines, one had a jittery chute. I would avoid that one it is harder to time to have your coin hit the flag. One always appeared to be oiled just right and was very fun to time and hit the flag. Next up, Slam-a-Winner. I don't recommend actually slamming to create a winner. Timing is essential. This machine was one of the more finicky Slam-A-Winner machines I've played. The balls didn't always load right into the top, so you sometimes have a hard time hitting the jackpot. My choice (motto) is to time it just right and drop the ball when the yellow part is between the K and the P. You'll see what I mean. Cyclone and Wheel of Fortune - Classic arcade staples. I hope these were retained in the remodel. Timing is key of course. He sings WHEEL OF FORTUNE when you win on the WoF model (not cyclone). Be careful, the lights flicker. You could get sucked in and spend many tokens/quarter (25 cent). Arcade staff - friendly high school students mainly. There may be a manager around somewhere usually in the back office. the staff are great about reloading tickets in the machines, which is a must when I arrive with very little fanfare but leave with large winnings. Thank you all. Ticket system - they issue you a receipt so that you don't have to leave with armfuls of tickets (coupons). Very helpful. Prizes - Large items and small. Candy up to a TV and I believe Playstation 3 last time I was there. I of course am working towards the George Foreman or possibly a blender. Can't wait. Tickets/coupon appear to be worth around 1 to 2 cent based on my estimated value of the prizes. Make sure that you are winning at least 25 ticket/coupon per quarter/token for the best chance! That's my advice. All in all this is a great family place an a nice alternative pricewise to HersheyPark! I love going here. Also, there is usually ample parking. They also have batting cages and ice cream inside! read more

I was trying to take the kids to Hersheypark for the afternoon and it was crowded AF. The parking lot was filled all the way to the Giant Center. Never a good sign. They were bummed. So now what? OH lets try Adventure Sports! I literally haven't been here since I was a kid and even then I don't even remember what I did there. What a great place! They have a decent arcade with a little snack bar. The arcade games are fun but they're not the best with tickets. We spent $30 on games and won crappy things but the kids had a blast and in the end that's all that matters. Then we decided to do the bumper boats. At $8 a ride I felt it was a little pricey. But we don't do this all of the time so why not? They give you a decent amount of time in the water and you can tool all around this pool in your boat and ram into other boats and squirt them with water. It was actually pretty fun. We didn't try the go carts but they looked fun, and there is also mini golf and laser tag. I am not sure if there's an indoor laser tag area, but there IS an outdoor laser tag area which I think sounds super fun. And there's a play area outside that my kids enjoyed. You can rent rooms for parties, and although I have winter babies, this may be a place I could consider for my next party. They operate the rides and games with a game card that you can fill inside at the desk or there are machines throughout that you can add money to. Very convenient. So even though I spent more than I would have at the park on this day I was happy to have given my kids a fun afternoon doing things we'd normally do on vacation. So what do you do when you've already seen Hershey World and the like and seen Harrisburg Downtown? You go and play mini golf, that's what. I was lucky enough to find a coupon for a buy one get one free offer from one of those tourist magazines they have for Harrisburg. It was pretty worth it to get admission for 2 at the price of 1. The course might not be really creative, just your basic hole in a ground and occasional hills and such. It was fun though and worthwhile especially for $7.75. At the end if you get a hole in one, you get a buy one get one free offer from Turkey Hill which is inside the shop. Great for families or groups of friends or even for dates. They wouldn't let my daughter ride the go carts with me because she was a half millimeter over the height limit. Strikes me as a racket to get more money because they would make her drive by yourself which is more money for them. The problem is she was scared to drive by herself so none of us rode the carts. Customer Service was my biggest pain point. It wasn't not crowded and no lines. We used batting cages, mini-golf, and go-carts. the Mini-golf was functional but old/dated but clean and reasonable price. Go-carts were fun - slow but fun. I was surprised at height requirements 10-11 year boys (fairly tall) couldnt ride but they had 2 seaters. Batting cages - we pick the slow pitch and noticed it was pitching way to high. I went in pretty quickly (less than 5 minutes of 30 minutes) and spoke to customer service person and manager. it was pitching head height for the kids and faster than the medium speed. They did not want to hear me or help me - I offered simple solution to the problem but they didnt care - manager said "there is nothing we can or will do" and walked away. A nice person in the next cage over let the kids bat on med and they hit on medium but didn't hit one pitch on slow. read more

We had our twin girls 9th birthday party at Adventure Sports. Best party ever! I really didn't have to do anything to prepare for this party! We had great staff hosts and they did everything from setting up and cleaning up, decorating, playing games, entertaining 16 kids, serving the yummy pizza, drinks and ice cream cake, writing the list of gifts, loading my car with the gifts and also handing out the awesome goodie bags so I could actually enjoy myself! The bumper boats were super fun on a hot day, and the arcade was great! Our younger guests (age 3) loved climbing on the wooden train. They are very generous with the 75 arcade tokens per party guest and each guest got to get nice prizes from the arcade (even an emoji pillow!). My girls loved getting to spin the prize wheel and getting free mini golf tickets. Would definitely recommend Adventure Sports for a birthday party!! read more

Wow, what can I say other than this place is a rip off. How is it other places like Chucky Cheese can have every game for .25 cents yet Adventure Sports has very few games for .25 cents. Most were .50 to $1 to play. Also, at least 1/4 of the games were out of order. What is that about? My kids who are 11 and 7 actually said to me that this place is a rip off and we all know kids don't hold back. I couldn't have said it better. The go-karts were fun, but at a cost of $7 for one driver and $8 for driver and a passenger, that is excessive. The place was very clean and puts on a great appearance, but honestly, much to expensive for what you get. We will never return! read more
