Arrived to find a tree down and another very large old tree about to fall. I called them in the late afternoon and they arrived early the next morning. They did a great job looking over all the trees surrounding our home and the trees that were unsafe were quoted. The quote was reasonable. During the next few weeks another tree on the edge of our lot became a hazard - it was a giant black oak and was threatening the neighbors house. Thanks to them for getting that taken out the week of July 4th. We had an excellent experience. 7 trees in all. They work hard and clean up after themselves. Great people to work with!

It started when Chris, the owner of Eaton quoted work we needed done on trees removed. When they…read moreshowed up, they were at the next-door neighbors and quoted the wrong place. After accepting the mistake and 43% increase in cost, they cut and dropped trees with no worries. Smashed ornamental outside art and decorative trees. Finally, they took one tree down without removing the branches. A tree branch punctured my main water line to our home. After 3 times of trying to fix what was a plumbing issue that he couldn't fix, we had to call an emergency plumber on Memorial Day to have them come from Atlanta to fix. The plumber fixed the problem. Eaton Tree Removal, Chris Eaton, has now avoided our calls and efforts to contact. Forcing me to file a small claim in court for the extra $1300.00+. Unprofessional and they lack the tools to do a good job.

Scott is an honest and good man. We have a view of the mountains on the backside of the house and a…read morelot of growth started to narrow the view, but we also wanted to expand the view. Scott came out one day to take a look and we discussed the plan and rates. This house is new to us, so I was not familiar with normal rates for this kind of work. Scott and I came to final agreement, and he was ready to have his men come out and begin work the next day. The men were also very polite, Austin, Wilmer, and Victor were the ones I spoke with the most, but there were a few others and all of them were polite and very hard working. If they found they had climbed 30 ft up the wrong tree, they would climb back down and do it right (as it goes out, it becomes more difficult to locate the proper tree from the base). A woman I work with has a close friend who cuts trees, and I sent her the before pictures with lines drawn of where Scott and his crew did work along with the number of trees estimated, asking if he could give a rough estimate, and while he said that he would need to come out and look at the property more closely to give a more accurate one, his price was almost double Scotts price. It was a good sign that Scott gave honest prices and he does honest work. At the end of the job, I had my own before and after pictures and the difference was PHENOMENAL. Scotts men stayed late the second day (they did A LOT of work for just 2 days time, these guys are good) and Austin was directing the others to perfect the final touches. The amount of care these guys have for their work is impressive. They had a mission more than a contract; the mission was to make me, the customer, happy - and they couldn't have done a better job. Scott is going to remain as the man for all my tree work until we sell this place or he retires because I know I can trust him. Tree cutting/trimming is expensive no matter who you go to, but with Scott I got a truly fair (if not better than market) price, and he really cared about doing an honest job. We hired Josh and Kelsey to…read moreplant two lines of trees, put an irrigation system in place and take care of the trees for one year so they were properly watered in their first year of life. We aren't tree experts, but it looked like they did a good job on planting and installing the system, and we were excited about their approach to the irrigation requirements, and for that we are grateful. As far as caring for the trees for one year, beginning 9/14/24, it started out well. However, as the year progressed they stopped sending pictures (even after we spoke about it with a follow up phone call), and seemingly stopped caring for the trees altogether. They have been absolutely unreachable for months via text, phone (full voicemail), two email addresses, two Facebook pages and a Yelp message. We don't know what they may have going on in their family, but we would hope they could at least communicate with us if something significant came up. At this point it looks like the lines are clogged, trees are uprooting, water deprived and sickly. We trusted them to do the job, and they seem to have taken advantage of this trust we placed in them. We hope to still talk with them so they can make it right, but right now it looks like they took our money and reneged on the contract.

We learned a lot from him, and we learned about how to properly water the trees and keep them in tip top shape.
