I thought it was a great bit of actual honesty. I replied, "no, not at all, I just like to know as much as possible about what is going to be done." Maybe, in retrospect, I was a bit suspicious and didn't realize it, that's what happens when you've been a landlord for over twenty years and have to deal with all kinds of dishonest repair people. In about an hour Ivan had everything fixed. I wasn't even expecting him to do the work right then, but he did, and the price seemed reasonable. I don't have anything to compare it to as I had just moved to Binghamton, but as I said, the price seemed fair, he was very competent and explained everything he did after he was finished, which was a nice touch. Eric is prompt and accommodating with his scheduling, knowledgeable about all kinds of glass installation and his rates are reasonable. Most important of all, he is friendly, easy to work with and has a positive attitude on the job. Other glaziers we spoke to when getting estimates either refused to touch our specialty custom windows, or acted very put-upon to take a job that was outside of their normal scope of work. Eric, however, responded with enthusiasm to the challenge and treated our project with interest, like it was his own. The poor people parked in the Handicap spot had a little boy in a wheel chair who looked to be around four or five, who appeared to have Cerebral Palsy. It was raining and they couldn't get the poor little guy in the van because this guy parked so close in the yellow lines. The people had to go in and ask for someone to come move it. The guy comes out with an attitude saying "looks like a perfectly good spot to me. Looks like a spot." The dad of the kid was rightfully getting really annoyed and this guy was being a complete jerk, even though he was obviously wrong and caused this little guy to be in the rain while they tried to get him to move. The mom looked like she was about to cry. I heard the guy say "What are you going to do call my boss? Go for it. Call my boss" and then laughed. I looked on the website and he appears to be the owner, which is why he didn't care. I didn't call because I figured it would fall on def ears. Before you support JKS Home Improvement, I suggest you think about the kind of person you are dealing with!!! If he can be so rude to parents of a wheelchair bound CHILD after he was the one who parked in a spot he shouldn't have, imagine how he's going to treat a customer!!! Surprising how much more air comes through new screen. They all look and function very well. I also have an odd sized slider door that has not had a screen slider from the time I bought the home almost 6 years ago. Despite constant searching, I never found what would fit, even called a local company that did my garage screen units at my old home, and they failed to show for 2 years and many calls later. John took the measurements and provided a solid metal framed slider which now allows for more cross breeze on those windy days. Nice person, leaves no tell tail evidence of work behind. I had 17 broken windows due to a severe hail storm. When the windows came in we scheduled the first…read moreavailable date for the install. The finishing work was scheduled for over a week later. The two-man sub-contractor team led by Bruce were there on time. They went straight to work and had all windows installed quickly. They then followed up with insulation and cleaning up at each window. After the installations were completed inside, they worked well together to start the wrapping outside. When they finished for the day the house and the yard were cleaner than before they started. The team was scheduled to come back after Christmas, but they didn't want us to have to wait so long. They were working just up the road the next day, so asked if they could stop back in the afternoon to finish up. They were again on time, got right to work, and finished everything for us that day! We were warmer with new windows and it was quieter inside as well. We were very happy with the decision to go with Window World.
