The room had an immensely comfy bed and was equipped with blackout curtains and a powerful fan, which was perfect for me since I love complete darkness and white noise when I sleep. There was also a huge deep bathtub and separate shower. Complementary bottled water (still and carbonated) in the room was a nice touch, and a delicious customized breakfast omelette was served in a really pretty room.

It's very clean and modern - cozy with a faux-wood oven (electric), and full bathroom facilities. Even has satellite tv (if that's your thing) Dave is a real train buff and has gone to great extent to detail the experience around trains. Breakfast is served in their house, on original Canadian National Railway china. Breakfast was delicious, especially the homefries! They have a hot tub, and provide towels and robes - we didn't use it because of the weather. Overall it was an excellent B&B experience - lots of small thoughtful detail, plus they drove us to and from dinner in nearby Singhampton (at Haisai Restaurant & Bakery) Will definitely recommend this B&B experience to friends - the view from their property is stunning as well - they say you can see for '100 miles'

We were speaking with the owner's brother, Michael, and he let us know they had only been open for 8 weeks. Felt safe in the house and we ended up having the place to ourselves for the most part as the other peeps also staying at the same time went into town for most of the evening that we stayed. House was spotless and very nicely furnished. Bed was super comfy. One thing to note : everywhere nearby we called did not deliver food to the inn (even the local courrier/delivery place) so if you are having a few drinks, be sure to plan accordingly. We ended up going to a pizza place in town (see next review) before we got too into the "sauce" LOL. Breakfast was really amazing and the highlight of our stay. All of us agreed it was one of the best French toast dishes we ever had - super crunchy on the outside yet amazingly fluffy on the inside - YUM! Michael is actually a chef in Collingwood and you could tell from the care and execution of the dishes. I do think they need to possibly reconsider the bathroom situation (ie add another one if possible) as there was only one shared option on the upper level. Just made it a bit awkward trying to shower in the morning as there were probably at least 8 people trying to get in there. Also, one small note - there was no where to hang the wet towels after being used. Perhaps just adding a rack behind the room doors would suffice! All in all, I would definitely stay here again!
