You'll see in the screenshot the email exchange between the adjuster and I as well as the photo data which provided the dates the pictures were taken which was immediately after the move. I only took the adjusters word that the movers denied breaking anything though they were the only ones to move any furniture--I definitely wanted to take advantage of my moneys worth so I let them do it all. The movers were younger guys so I definitely have empathy and understanding them not speaking up about it--the broken piece was literally hidden in a corner. I booked a move with them and put a deposit down. They confirmed with me that they absolutely had…read morethe availability. They said they would call me 3-4 days before the move to go over details with me, that never happened. I finally called them a few days before the move, where someone immediately and very rudely told me that they couldn't move me. They said they were booked up, and didn't have the men. Another guy then tried to tell me that it was an "IT issue" with their central office, not their fault so they couldn't do anything. Through trying to complain about this issue, I was connected back to them and spoke to somebody else. This time his excuse was that a "truck broke down" after I scheduled my move. I do not believe a single one of their ever-shifting excuses. Sure, they're giving me my deposit back and "taking responsibility", but none of that helps me when I have to be out of my place in less than a week. He just kept insisting that someone else can do it (and would not listen when I told him that I did the legwork already and that wasn't true). Do not book with this awful, scam of a company. They will cancel your move and completely screw you over and do nothing to make it right outside of the barest possible minimum.
