Within 1 week we noticed that one out our bushes was leaning and losing color and browning. After calling Paradise Lanscaping, they instructed us to give the bush more water and put stakes down to feed the bush. We had already been doing so! The other 3 bushes that were next to the dying bush were doing fine, it was just this one in question!! Here we are just under a month of getting the work done and the densi yew bush we purchased with Paradise Landscaping is DEAD. Once confirming with a local nursery company about the conditions of the densi yew bush, they also REITERATED that this bush should NOT have been purchased in the first place! Therefore, I made another attempt to call the owner of Paradise Landscaping (Joe) to see if he could replace the bush since it DIED before 30 days, however; Joe said he could not do anything because it is my responsibility to maintain the bushes. That was an insult. Paradise landscaping brought me a dead bush and refused to do anything about it! I expected better customer service from a local company, not so! Beware!

I must say, we tasked Greenline with quite a project of grooming a mess that we acquired in our…read morebackyard property line when we moved in. We weren't sure what to expect, but the results were definitely above and beyond what we expected! The process began with a relatively simple and information walkthrough. Prices were not given at the time, but realistic "challenges" were explained to us. In our case it was leftover rock disposal, removal of a shrub, and the potential of uncovering any other surprises while digging and leveling. A walkthrough was completed by a manager/owner(?) and one of the crew members. We were scheduled for a time frame, between 2 and 4 days. On day one it was kind of odd when they arrived because for one, it was around 230pm when they arrived to start. Also, we came to find out that only 1 person was going to be working on the project. It seemed like an incredible amount of work for one person, so we were skeptical. We were working from home throughout this process, so we were able to go take peeks of the progress. The first picture in the collage I attached, easily took the entire first and second day due to the mess and surprise old pond setup. This one guy, with his pick-axe, just kept chugging away at the mess and ripping it up. The truck had to drive away multiple times to dump off the debris, especially the big bush we had ripped out with their Dingo stumper remover. When it was all said and done, they laid down some hay barrier, as you can see in any of the right side photos I attached, to cover the dirt and hopefully prevent anything from sprouting up in the remaining portion of fall. Pros: -very efficient and removed EVERYTHING we asked -great price, was a couple hundred under the quote we were given even though it was more work than expected -excluding day 1, he started around 9 or 10am, took a break for lunch and finished around 6pm -no mess left behind Cons: -left tools and equipment behind overnight and throughout a weekend that he didn't work. Didn't enjoy the liability of someone seeing it and walking up and taking it if they wanted to. Thank you Greenline for everything you did for our backyard foliage renovation! Looking forward to maintaining our new look in our backyard in the spring!

He yelled at me on 2 separate occasions because he was wrong and instead of saying his company made a mistake he got defensive and yelled at me. The first time he was very rude and raised his voice to me was when I called after waiting 3 weeks for my tree to get cut, he left a message and said that I was 2nd on the list for the next week and he was coming Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week. Tuesday I called to confirm and he got all defensive saying he never said that and that I was on the schedule for Friday and he never schedules that far out. I offered to send the voicemail he left me to him but he declined. I should have known then not to do business with him however I had already waited over 3 weeks, I was desperate. The second incident was after my tree was cut. His team had initially put the wood in my neighbor's yard. It is pretty obvious that it was not my yard, and I had to run after them before they left to move it back to my yard. His team also put 2 large logs from the trunk into the creek behind my house. I called let Joe know and to discuss when his team could complete the work (still had to grind stump and mound) and that is when he lost it on me. He was so rude and started yelling at me saying why would his guys do that, maybe it rolled down a hill. I explained to him there is no hill and it had to be intentional. Joe cut me off, yelling again saying, "well I will get someone out there to remove the little logs." I explained to him they were not little logs they were very large. Joe then hung up on me. Then he sent me a text message which you can see below. I could not believe what happened, that he yelled at me the way he did instead of listening and trying to fix the issue. I responded to him and told him I was cancelling the initial check because we paid for services we did not get and he can now deal with my husband. WARNING to anyone looking to hire this company... In his message he states that they usually just leave the wood "wherever it falls!" Had I known this I would have never hired Family Tree Removal. On top of all this, my yard was a MESS when they left! There are at least 20 holes in my yard now from when they just let the very large branches fall. I understand a mess and some holes but the amount I have in my yard now is ridiculous. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Be careful if you hire them. You will not get what you expect and the owner Joe Jakubowski is a hot head!!!
