I shop here regularly and truly enjoy the experience. The Village Store is part of our quaint Main Street area not to be overlooked. You can shop for housewares, local foods, boutique clothing and jewelry, toys, Lake Life and Lake Norman local gifty items, like tshirts, pillows, tea towels, etc. There is so much to look at here, and trust me, you will find something you love! The staff there is very friendly and the store is so well stocked. The prices are very fair compared to other boutique style stores, but I'd say the Village Store has the biggest selection of home and gift items in the Lake area. They have begun putting out their fall decor, and they really have some beautiful displays during the Christmas season. I really enjoy shopping here.

The store is largely furniture and decor with all kinds of design ideas throughout and they also have a section with local candles, sauces, apparel, salsa, coffee, etc. We purchased some cherries for old-fashioned drinks and a peach salsa made right in Davidson. She introduced us to the furniture designers/creators and we got to see some live work in progress-they were also friendly and awesome! The Winston chair is about 3 years old and matches them perfectly. When I ordered these, people thought I was crazy "Why would you want a green sofa?!!", but when anyone sees them, they will always compliment them. In fact, I had a police officer knock on my door one day to ask about a neighbor and as I was talking to him at the door, he noticed the sofa and said "Man, that green couch is cool!" Cracked me up. In any case, if you want an heirloom piece of furniture that will stand the test of time, you really should consider Cococo home. Are they pricey? Yes. Is the wait time uncertain? Yes.
