This is a perfect little vintage shop! I haven't found one of these gems in a long time so I was glad to happen upon it. There's a back room full of dresses in era order, from the 1900s to now. Great selection of tops, mensware and tons of great accessories. It looks as though each piece is curated into the shop, so there's no concern of damage or stains. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I snagged a gorgeous ring and an addition to my scarf collection for just $32, so the prices are pretty comparable to what I'd expect from a vintage shop. read more

This has become one of our must - visit places in Daytona Beach. I just love this street of shops and Moxie Vintage is everything it sounds like it would be! We get such a kick browsing through the literal decades worth of items throughout the store. Men's, women's, shoes, jewelry, a lot of T-shirt's. I feel cooler just by stepping in the front door (and I don't just mean the air conditioning!) It's hard to generalize exactly what Moxie sells. The store has such a variety of goods. But the majority of it all caters to vintage clothing and retro furniture. But in addition to that is jewelry, pictures / posters, racks, lockers, displays and so on. They even help out local sellers by letting them house soaps and necklaces in the shop. There are other consignment shops in the area, but this easily has the best selection simply because the owners spend countless hours every week hand picking stylish items for the store. The owners are mother (Barbara) and son (Danny), some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. There's always a 'hello' and 'can I help you find anything' waiting for you as you walk in. They keep themselves busy during the day by pricing, organizing and cleaning the store. But that doesn't take away from their customer service. They're quick to help you with anything you're looking for, explain what any item is (even though most of them have small descriptions on their tags) or even give you gift ideas for a friend. Extremely neat and organized store. There's never dirt on the floor or dust on the shelves. There's always that odd used clothing smell in shops like these and even worse in thrift stores. But not here. Always a clean smelling aroma in the air. When it's not summer time, the front door is normally left open so a breeze can find its way inside. There's not a lot of original and unique stores here in Daytona Beach, so do yourself a favor and stop in if you're on vacation. You won't regret it. read more

While I was home for Christmas my mom suggested checked out Moxie Vintage. She wanted to take me somewhere that I would enjoy, and she knows that I love vintage shops. This one is in the downtown area of Daytona Beach and if you weren't paying attention you could easily pass it by. Thankfully we knew exactly where to look and got a prime parking spot right out front. This place was amazing! The front of the store is furniture and housewares, while the back is clothes, shoes and accessories. One thing I'm noticed is the instant something is labelled "vintage" the prices go through the roof. I was very happy to see that so many of the items were reasonable prices. They had a great selection of clothes, but unfortunately nothing in my size. I did walk away with a great orange belt for just $6 that I know I will get a lot of use out of. Moxie has a great selection of unique vintage clothes, shoes, jewelry, and decor! The owner was very friendly and personable to everyone. She suggested to help hold up one end of a large blanket for me while my mom held the other end so I could look at it better and make sure I loved it. We were in there a long time and never felt rushed. When my mom had a question about a piece of jewelry, she was very knowledgeable about the maker and where it came from. She was smiling and seemed to really love vintage and loved to help her customers appreciate it too! She also said that she restocks her items every day so I will definitely be back soon so I don't miss anything! read more

No matter what time or what day you go in you will always find something that you MUST have. The prices are great, it's organized, and the best part is that the clothes are super high quality, cute, and fashionable. I believe it's family owned, and they are so nice there. I have been shopping vintage for many years. I also worked in the fashion industry for 17 years. My fiance'and I were in Daytona for a golf tournament and he indulged me by stopping in. A true vintage shop which is rare. Super cool and fun place for sure. It was genuinely a blast from the past. I saw clothing, sneakers, and leotards we used to wear back in the 80s & 90s that I haven't seen since that time. So awesome!!! HOLY FRIJOLES. Moxie Vintage is the manifestation of all my wildest dreams come to life right in my hometown of Daytona Beach. Our area is lucky to have a generous sprinkling of antique and thrift shops to peruse and enjoy; however, unlike many shops that require quite a bit of digging to find any sort of treasure, almost everything in Moxie is of great quality and taste. In addition to that, they actually have really fair and awesome pricing, unlike some of our other shops that charge an arm and a leg for only so-so items. Another thing that's great about this shop? Just when you think your life is coming to an end because someone else swooped in and bought something you had been pining over, they replace it with equally amazing items. Seriously. Moxie is my absolute favorite go-to store when I'm in FL! The owners are the nicest, most-welcoming people. I can't tell you how many compliments I get from all of the purchases I've made there...amazing one-of-a-kind tunics, dresses, purses, hats, jewelry and housewares. Being an Interior Designer in NY it's hard to find unique pieces at affordable prices so it's such a treat to shop here. I came in with a pin up group, The Luscious Ladies, that I'm a member of. We had just got done a photo shoot and had dinner after. It was always part of our days agenda to go to Moxie, but time had gotten away from us. We all had gotten to Moxie with a half our to spare. The lovely store clerk kept the store open past closing, assisted us with the dressing room, and helped us pick out items. She was so gracious to stay open late for us and let us play. Very cute vintage boutique, had a lot of one of a kind finds which made it a lot of fun to browse. Organized well in my opinion, a lot of boutique stores are cluttered but I didn't feel that way with moxies. I liked that the stores in the area really rep for each other and I was recommended to go here by other local store owners, tight knit community of local shops and by going to one you will get awesome recommendations of other great places to try out! This little store is amazing!!! I have been looking for a vintage fur coat for a while. This place did not disappoint!! They had so many fur coats and stoles that I couldn't believe. Who would've ever expected for a store in Florida to have such a selection in the summer. The nice lady was very helpful and explained the different types of furs, vintage trends, and other useful information for my search. She even said that their inventory was lighter than normal right now because it's summer. Wow! I'm going to have to make a trip back to Florida in the fall/winter just to visit this store. What fun! We are ladies "of a certain age" and spent rainy beach days browsing vintage and consignment shops. Moxie Vintage stood above all of them. Items are artfully displayed, the inventory is creative and fun, and best of all, there are items for all ages and seasons -- clothes, hats, scarves and other accessories. (It was a wonderful surprise that, after looking in traditional stores for two years, I found a classy winter coat that fits perfectly and looks great -- for $50!) It's worth the visit. read more

A mom and son vintage thrift shop. Both who have great attitudes and personalites. Not only did I enjoy shopping there, I really enjoyed my conversation with them as well. Every piece in the store is carefully picked. Furniture and bric and brac's in the front, clothing in the back. What I loved most is that when you shop for vintage clothing the sizes on clothes always run small, 0-6. In this shop you will find sm. Med. & Large, even some pieces extra large. I thought this was so cool. There were many different sections of quality stuff, from hand picked killer print Hawaiian shirts, leather vests, army, navy, marines jackets and shirts, a section of Hawaiian dresses and shirts for women... Hats, shoes, belts, purses... Truly love this store and will go back every time I'm in town... And the prices were so reasonable, they weren't trying to gouge your wallet.
