The front office staff greets you with a level of customer service with such warmth and compassion…read more It's obvious they all are happy with their working environment by the way they interact with each other. The waiting room and office is very clean. I was seen very shortly after I arrived. The Doctor took his time examining my foot, asked questions and answered each of mine on a level I understood. He showed me my X-rays and explained in detail what was wrong with my foot and why I was feeling pain. The pain is gone and the healing has begun. He came highly recommended and I chose a great podiatrist!! Thank God!

I heard a radio commercial for Horsley Foot and Ankle discussing their non-invasive procedures. I…read morewas in search of a podiatrist to consult with about the bunion on my right foot. I had been in search of a competent podiatrist as the last podiatrist I consulted with about my 20 year issue didn't really seem interested in my foot medical history nor was he sympathetic to how sensitive I was about the protruding bunion. I decided to visit Horsley Foot and Ankle to find out about the non-invasive options. When I made the appointment, I was assigned to Kairi Horsley. When I met him, I was a little skeptical because I could tell he was the younger Horsley doctor. I explained that I had been struggling with this bunion for over 20 years and was hoping for a non-invasive procedure. After his examination, he informed me that unfortunately my deformity couldn't be corrected through a non-invasive procedure. He could tell that I was very disappointed. He immediately showed concern for my issue and assured me that he could still help. He explained a medical procedure called Lapidus that was very successful in correcting my issue. He confidently assured me that he had performed the procedure successfully many times. His knowledge of the procedure and sensitivity to my anxiety of this invasive option, helped me to finally decide to address this 20 year issue. I had the Lapidus procedure over two weeks ago and the results are very impressive. I would recommend Horsley Foot and Ankle to anyone seeking podiatric services. B. Coleman

Dr. Leff lied right to my face and said he was going to do one thing and did the complete opposite…read more It makes it pretty hard to trust him to have my best interest in the course of treatment. His front office staff is difficult to deal with and not very helpful at times. Some of them can be VERY rude. I had a worker's comp situation a few years ago because I broke my foot at work. I had trouble getting a claim established and it took several months to get a claim number from my employer's worker's comp insurance carrier. I explained the situation with Cindy and she said I could run it through my health insurance and then if I got a worker's comp claim number they could reprocess it so that's what I did. When it came time to reprocess the claims, she was very rude and made it seem like it was a huge burden and clearly didn't want to allow me to reprocess the claims but that's the only way the worker's comp was going to pay for it. So I paid $95 on copays so they could get paid and so there weren't any delinquent bills. They reprocessed the claims and then only refunded me $30 of the $95 I paid, a year later. Fast forward a couple years, I need to see them related to the worker's comp claim again because my ankle is bothering me...and their office manager or whatever her title is, Stephanie Walker, calls me to tell me that they will be billing my health insurance and will refuse to reprocess the claims if I don't open the worker's comp claim before my appointment. Clearly she does not want to deal with worker's comp at all and sees me as a burden and not worth their office's time. That's the tone of voice she used with me. She made a comment that she would have to bill me as a new patient because I haven't been seen in 3 years. I asked for clarification on this because it seemed odd since i should be considered an established patient. She clearly did not feel that she had to explain this to me based on her tone of voice. She states that it's common practice everywhere not just their office to do that. I said that I've never run into that where they treat you as a new patient just because you haven't been there for a while. And she says "I didn't know you were a medical biller!" Like that is totally uncalled for, inappropriate and unprofessional. I was just asking if she could explain what she meant by her statement and why that was. They also stated that they will bill to my personal health insurance and will refuse to rebill to worker's comp. I'm having a hard time getting the claim reopened and they want documentation that my current situation is related to the initial injury. So there's no way around the doctor's office having to rebill to worker's comp if it's deemed related. Their unwillingness to help and the way they can't be bothered to do their jobs is unbelievable. Front office staff could use some lessons in customer service and bedside manner. The fact that the office staff is unwilling to work with you, makes it hard to find good enough reason to keep going to this place. It's not my fault I had a worker's comp claim. It's not my fault the timing didn't line up between getting a claim number and seeking help. Do you even care about your patients? Wtf? I'm just so floored by the attitude of the staff. I find it odd how Dr. Leff could let his office be run by such miserable, unfriendly, and unhelpful people but you know what they say... the fish rots at the head. It makes me want to find a new provider. I don't think I can keep going to a place that treats their patients like this. However, I feel as though I must go back since this issue is related to the first injury since they saw me the first time. I'm at a bit of a loss as to what to do. Come to think of it, I've had quite a number of problems with this place. From problems with the admins to numerous billing problems. And they have something against communicating by email. Well why do you have an email address, a contact form, and an online portal if you're not going to allow your patients to communicate with you through them? If you want to be treated like crap by the office staff and lied to by your doctor, you can go here. Otherwise, choose somewhere else. Oh and they told me they were discharging me from the practice after they got wind of this review. Rather than try to fix the problems and correct things and take it as an opportunity to improve... they tell you not to come back. I was already planning to change providers but it shows you just how much they care about their patients and making things right. What's the point of asking for reviews if you're only going to be ok with the positive ones? Take it as an opportunity to improve and make things right. I'd avoid going here if you can.
