Where do I begin?! The owner Kathryn and her daughter came to my home to give me an estimate. It…read morewas a deep clean and she charged A LOT which I was fine with because a deep clean would be worth it. She said they did not include cleaning the fridge inside or doing window glass but they would clean outside of the fridge and the windowsill. They also asked two things-- do I not enjoy certain smells and to please let them know the day of if anything isn't to my liking because they just want to do a good job but they're human and can miss stuff. I said I don't like strong (they specifically asked about Fabulosa) scents as I usually clean my counters with vinegar and lemon essential oils. But other than Fabulosa and Bleach I'd be Ok. And I said of course I'd let them know if they missed anything. The day of they come around 10:30 and are done before 1:30. I'm thinking wow these ladies must be so efficient to be able to clean that fast. As they're leaving I did mention the counter was still dirty and crusty. She took a dirty rag and brushed it over reluctantly. I also mentioned a giant window sill in a bedroom was filthy so clearly they didn't do that. She wasn't happy and barely wiped it. I felt weird after that and didn't say anything else. Then I see the real deal. No window sills were dusted or wiped. Corners of rooms weren't vacuumed or mopped. Dust bunnies all over. As entire bathroom garbage was forgotten. Every fan was still dirty. It was a disaster. So I texted her. I'll add the messages here to read. She seemed really ok with coming back and fixing everything. As you see in the texts I gave her an out by asking for a partial refund. As she asked, I made her a list. And honestly it was long. The next day they come back with FACES on. Like major attitude. She was really mad when she saw the list. It was so bad I flat out told her this is exactly what I didn't want to be made to feel uncomfortable in my own home but if they couldn't do a deep clean then they shouldn't say they did. She made an excuse for everything. She said my ceiling fan was too high. Then she said a deep clean never includes ceiling fans and she always mentions that to clients before hand. She said a deep clean doesn't mean she vacuums corners or behind couches etc. It was wild. I regret allowing them in my home the second time. I for sure regret allowing them in my home the first time. $450 is a really expensive deep clean for a 2 bedroom 2.5 bath townhome. And the energy and attitudes that came with this price tag were awful. Truly one of the worst experiences I've had with a company. Avoid at all costs.
