My experience was with the Kia team and I had great service from them from start to finish in the buying process. I didn't feel pressured into buying any extras that I didn't want though all the options were explained to me. Follow up service was great too with a phone call soon after purchase to check everything was OK and also a call a year later to check that everything was still OK. Basically, a good buying experience, not too pushy and very professional.

I was told it was an RAC warranty but turns out to be administered by TWG. I have a coolant leak and booked it into Chorley Kia to have an inspection. I was told it was the radiator. Chorley Kia stated that it wouldn't be covered by warranty as its normal wear and tear and a consumable part. What a load of rubbish!! The motor ombudsman clarifies a warranty as ""A vehicle warranty provides protection against having to pay for parts and labour following the mechanical or electrical failure of components such as an engine, fuel pump or radiator"". I've never in all my years ever had a radiator fail due to wear and tear!! On my return home I contacted the warranty company who said they were told by Chorley Kia that they didn't know where the leak was coming from and as far as they RAC were concerned the claim was on-going. On contacting Chorley Kia again they now say that the radiator fins are breaking away from the frame and it isn't covered. If I didn't know better I would think that the After Sales Manager who is rude and obnoxious was in cahoots with the warranty company. Chorley Kia refuse to help even though they sold me this 12 month warranty which is apparently useless. They have even suggested I go elsewhere to get the car fixed as they don't normally service this make of vehicle, but they will gladly sell it to you if you are daft enough to buy it, which I apparently was. !! DONT BUY A USED CAR FROM CHORLEY GROUP and be careful of any warranty sold under the RAC Brand Name.

He would get me the car, and at a reasonable rate. Tickle my chin and call me Deirdre, for that car I now drive. Polished to within an inch of its life, you could drink beer out of the alloys, fully MOT'd and serviced. Jeff was true to his word, riding roughshod over the traditional stereotype of the dodgy used car salesman. Wingray doesn't have the biggest forecourt, but given its space constraints the range of motors is great, from family cars to more sporty and luxurious models. I didn't have overly high expectations really, as my previous experience with manufacturer dealerships hasn't been overly brilliant - though, admittedly, that was with a different manufacturer (Ford) and a different area. In all honesty, though, RRG were great. They were able to not only book my car in at relatively short notice, as I only called up a couple of days ago, but being able to book it for a Saturday was brilliant. The icing on top came in the fact that they were willing to price match a quote from another dealership for the same work, and offer me a deal on future work to boot. The staff were friendly, and more than happy to answer my daft questions about servicing plans and how they compared to paying outright at the time. There's complimentary drinks available - I opted for a bottle of water - and some little snack things on the tables, like biscuits and sweets. In terms of the actual service, for the car that is, that's a pretty standard routine dictated by the manufacturer but the paperwork I received back was clear and detailed with everything which had been checked and to what standard. The staff also weren't pushy. They tried to upsell me some stuff, as you'd expect any dealer to do when they've got you, but it was very much along the line of "Here's the information, take it home and have a read and if you're interested, let us know". Overall, I'm very happy with the service I received from RRG and would happily recommend them to other Mazda owners. The site also houses a Suzuki dealer, and for those of you with more money a Lexus showroom too.

RRG is a rising firm for car-dealerships with the north west, having been to their branches in…read moreRochdale, including the Peugeot one, I decided to have a look in, in this one in Oldham, to take another look at the car I planned to get, without being pressured about buying the car there and then. The dealership is quite nice, although typical for both RRG and Peugeot, with it not really standing out to other RRG Peugeot dealerships, such as the one in Rochdale. They do sell flagship cars for Peugeot mainly, which are unlocked on the inside, to take a look at. The salesmen here seemed a little poor, honestly they seemed a little boring, and far from engaging, they simply seemed like very poor salesman, which is quite uncommon compared to other RRG garages I have visited, including Skoda and Toyota. This dealership doesn't have a great vibe in it, to spend a while, the layout seems to be the only thing different to the Rochdale store, and a few other minor tweaks means Rochdale is of course nicer as a whole, meaning this one is simply the Brian Kidd, to his Manuel Pellegrini, so I can only give 2 stars, which I still feel is a little generous, but is more deserving rather than a single one star.
