Had a great experience with MP Painting. Miguel, the owner, quickly responded to my request for a quote and came over within a week to assess the job. He and his crew were back a few days later to paint several bedrooms and a bathroom, including patching holes and smoothing some uneven areas. They finished it all in one day and were very tidy in both their work and how they left the rooms. Pricing was fair and reasonable. I was matched with MP Painting through Home Advisor. Initial response was positive - scheduled Miguel to come out the next day. My husband took the day off work to meet with Miguel for the estimate. At 12:30 (the appt. time was noon), I got a text that he hadn't shown up. So, I texted Miguel to find out what was going on. At that time, he responded with: "Im checking, the address show me 2 hours, is to far for me, sorry but i can be there." Obviously, he meant he can't be there (not can). When he scheduled, I confirmed he had my address through Home Advisor. He did not mention it was an issue at that time, nor did it become an issue until his appointment time had long passed and he hadn't shown up, nor contacted me to reschedule or notified me of the delay. Miguel was super! Only reason I didn't give a 5 was that a few times he didn't come when he said he would, so that meant a schedule re-do on my end (probably should have a 4.5). The bottom line, however, is that he got the work done by our set deadline, and that was the important thing. His work was really, really good. It was a jagged, poorly cut 12' x 18" space across the living room ceiling, and it's now invisible. His price was also good. So was his attitude. My husband and I hired MP Painting to make several drywall repairs and to paint the interior of our house. My husband received a job offer out of state and we needed to get our house ready to sell very quickly. Miguel, the owner, was able to come out the same day I called to give an estimate. His quote came in hundreds lower then anyone else. At first I worried if maybe the quality of work wouldn't be as good as the other companies I received estimates from, but Miguel was extremely polite and seemed like an honest hard working man so we hired him. He started the job a couple of days later and had everything done in 3 days (i was expecting at least 5 days with all we had to have done) I am SO very pleased with the work Miguel did! The house looks like new! During the busy and stressfull time of listing our home Miguel was able to take a HUGE burden off our shoulders by making our home picture perfect.
