Came across MPC Veterinary Care about 6 months when I was looking for a low cost vaccination clinic for my rescue. Started taking my senior boxer to their main clinic due to his age, health, and condition. The staff has been nothing but patient and caring with my anxious somewhat aggressive senior. Dr. Pinney was informative of my dog's condition and supportive. Jennifer was of great support and caring when it came the time to make a decision for my senior. It was the most difficult choice I recently had to make and Jenn was always answering all of my doubts & questions with patience and a caring approach. Never rude, even when I kept asking her the same questions and voicing out my same doubts. This staff was amazing, they were with me every step of the way. Im blessed to have taken my senior here. I miss my senior baby tremendously and I will forever carry him in my heart.

Thank you Dr. Pinney and Priscilla. You are our Angels this Sunday afternoon. My dog had been very sick and had visited the stone oak ER last week. I paid about 400.00 on my care credit and my little one was still not better. I googled and saw your clinic this morning. By 11am I we were waiting our turn. Today your care, efficiency and expertise truly was amazing and touched my heart and you made a world of a difference with Chloe French bulldog brought in with a severe allergy reaction and GI symptoms. I am so grateful to you all and how you provide this service on the weekends. You saved my family from getting behind on our bills this month and missing work and I was able to also afford the prevention medicine so this doesn't happen to my Chloe again. God Bless you all words just can't express my gratitude as I am digressing. The wait time was amazing considering I had spent generally 3 hours at a Animal ER. I was only there today for about an 1 hour & 1/2 and you all provided so much individualized care, tests and instructions. My Best.. a loyal customer forever! Lisa and Chloe :):):)

Dr. Pinney and his team are terrific. Every other week they hold pet court at Lockehill Feed and Seed, providing first class affordable pet care, exams, shots, eye.. Tink is surrounded by a variety of dogs ( and a stray cat or two) and stares with wide-eyed wonder at her kin! Today's visit was exceptional! Rosie provided a level of care and concern beyond the norm and Tink was in good hands with her and Dr. Pinney! It just doesn't get any better than this!

Affordable and the vet techs and cets are knowledgeable. Sometimes you have to wait a bit but it's not too bad.

I got the call from Dr. Pittman and they were both professional and apologetic for the delay. I did receive the notes as requested and results we were waiting on. I brought my dog in since our regular vet was closed on weekends. It cost $250 to explore the wound. Once Dr. Pittman "explored" the wound and remove out two small "masses" she didn't know what it was or wasn't confident about next steps. We came back 3 days later for wound check and we noticed my dog had something similar on another paw and she removed that as well but this time sent it for testing. Also my pet insurance has requested visit notes and records to process my claim and I have even tried calling to have them send the notes needed and they still have not sent anything. When I called the receptionist states she has submitted the request and once notes are ready they will send it. Why does visit notes take over a week to do and send? Overall, I think this place makes it very inconvenient for owners as they are not responsive with requests.

They ran test on her and said she was in congestive heart failure but they never said her life was at risk or was there any mention of any urgency to take her to an ER. Instead a $100 bottle of pills that she needed to take for the rest of her life and $500+ bill later she was sent home. Once again they never said anything about this being an emergency and then the next day our baby DIED AND I BLAME THEM!! So that next day we spent $600 to cremate our baby instead of $600 to try to save her life. I dnt know why our dog didn't get 4..7 star treatment but I give them ZERO STARS

This is our regular vet. Despite explaining the urgency of the situation, Dr. Halberg refused to see my dog due to a "staffing shortage." Again, this is my regular vet and I was there when the doors opened at 8:00am on Saturday. No triage, no brief assessment, no effort to determine whether this was an emergency -- just a refusal of care. I completely understand staffing challenges, but when a current customer presents with a pet showing serious neurological distress, I believe there is a professional obligation to at least evaluate the situation or help coordinate immediate care elsewhere. Furthermore, when I asked the front desk clerk to write the address of the Emergency Vet Hospital they recommend, she sent me to a HUMAN emergency clinic. Unbelievable. This was an incredibly disappointing and stressful experience, and it has significantly impacted my trust in this practice.
