The newly opened store in Westfield Hornsby will doubtless see an influx of curious and perhaps dewy-eyed customers wanting to bask a little longer in the brilliance of Apple's visionary founder. This store is much more modestly sized than it's big smoke big brother, but with the same layout and blue-shirted brigade of assistants, you'll quickly feel right at home. The Apple store employees are notoriously helpful - they're a revamped breed of customer service in an increasingly distant, online era. This chatty, happy, geeky service - alongside the shiny products and free wifi - is what makes visiting the Apple Store more than fun, it's a downright delight. Steve Jobs can add that to his lengthy legacy.

The consultant was arrogant and ageist and told me that unless I could provide proof of purchase the ipad was useless but not to worry because he could dispose of it for me. He was smug, arrogant and most importantly ill informed as an email to Apple password recovery solved the problem. i expect consultants to know their products but this consultant was unfortunately blinded by his hubris. The culture in this shop seems poor.
