Every thing was stellar. Adam came out to our home and repaired our exercise equipment within 24 hours. We couldn't be more satisfied!

Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disorganized and unprofessional from the moment I arrived. The building was locked, no guide or management staff were present, there was no organized check-in process, and there was absolutely no communication regarding what was happening. Multiple guests were left outside confused and attempting to determine whether the tour was even operating. Company-associated staff eventually arrived but provided no meaningful information until directly prompted. At that point, they stated they were only shuttle drivers and that they had to "figure out what was going on" after the scheduled rendezvous time had already passed. At no point within the first 20 minutes of our rendezvous was there was any clear communication, leadership, organization, or professionalism demonstrated by the company. Considering they're responsible for guiding customers onto Lake Superior, I no longer felt comfortable or safe participating in the excursion and chose not to proceed with 10 minutes remaining until the a scheduled launch time. I attempted to resolve this directly via email since management wasn't present during working hours and present staff couldn't provide a direct way to contact management; however, they refused to issue a refund. The owner instead responded publicly to a review in a defensive manner while claiming an emergency situation had occurred. He even blamed my inability to adapt over his employees vague and unprofessional verbal responses and despite three shuttle drivers being present and not shuttling us to our launch. The issue is the complete lack of communication, organization, professionalism, and reasonable resolution afterward.

1/5 -- I would not recommend purchasing from Cycle City Outdoors based on my experience…read more A retailer controls its website. A customer can only rely on the prices, checkout system, order confirmations, and shipping information it presents. Cycle City accepted my $203.99 order, told me it was being prepared for shipment, and gave me an estimated delivery date. Then they canceled it and relisted the same brace for $474. I purchased a Leatt 5.5 neck brace for $203.99, the price displayed on Cycle City's website. This was not a case where I merely saw a price and asked them to honor it. I completed checkout, received an order confirmation stating "We're getting your order ready to be shipped," and was given an estimated delivery date. Cycle City then canceled the order. The exact brace I ordered was subsequently relisted for $474. Their initial explanation was that a temporary issue with Leatt products caused their system to apply a "random price" to inventory. They offered me a 15% coupon instead. After I escalated the matter, ownership said the $203.99 price was an automated database synchronization glitch, claimed it was below dealer cost, and relied on their Terms of Service allowing them to cancel orders containing pricing errors even after an order has been submitted. What makes that explanation especially difficult for me to accept is that, after Cycle City said the $203.99 Leatt pricing resulted from an identified system error, another Leatt 5.5 remained publicly displayed on their own website at the exact same $203.99 price the following morning. That listing was for a Black S/M Leatt 5.5, SKU 1022111710 the advertised price was still $203.99. I preserved screenshots, timestamps, the product URL, and our correspondence. That also shows why $203.99 did not look like an obviously impossible pricing mistake to me. It appeared to be a legitimate discounted or clearance price, and I purchased it in good faith. I tried to resolve this privately before posting this review. I asked for management/ownership review and gave Cycle City another opportunity to honor the confirmed order. I was not asking for free merchandise or extra compensation; only the order I had actually placed at the price their website displayed and accepted. Ownership declined to reinstate it. I have included screenshots of the order confirmation, cancellation explanation, $474 relisting, the separate Leatt 5.5 still displayed at $203.99, and ownership's response including the Terms of Service provision they relied upon. Prospective customers can read and decide for themselves whether they are comfortable purchasing online under that policy. People can look at the documentation and make their own judgment. Mine is simple. I no longer trust Cycle City Outdoors enough to purchase from them. When a retailer displays a price, accepts an order at that price, confirms it, says it is being prepared for shipment, and provides a delivery estimate, I believe it should stand behind that transaction. Cycle City chose not to. One star.
