We even offered them multiple days to complete the work (when we had previously agreed they would complete the job in one day), and they still got into their trucks and left, claiming it was their choice to leave even when we had paid them and they had given us their word. This company not only wasted our time and money, but caused immense stress during our move. When I started looking for a house, a quality home inspector was high on my list of crucial partnerships. Suffice it to say that I was not disappointed with Jeremy. In fact, I was overwhelmingly positively impressed! I ended up having him do inspections of a few houses before I bought mine and Jeremy's reports were fantastic. He was amazingly thorough and I had total confidence in each report and that I was able to make an informed purchasing decision. Now that I have a house, it also helped me prioritize repairs and upgrades. I was fortunate enough to get a turnkey house but knowing about outlets that were wired backwards and other odds and ends of things allowed me to spend a bit of time early on making sure that the house is safe and secure. I'll add that Jeremy's reports are top notch. He even found spots where the roofers used the wrong nails and called those out for me. I honestly don't think that if I spent a day crawling around every inch of the place that I could find a single thing he missed. Radon levels in the basement are a little above norm but not outrageously so and that gives me peace of mind as well. With Jeremy's report in hand, we were able to prioritize and asked the seller to fix the major issues knowing that we'd need to pick up the minor issues ourselves. I've recommended Jeremy to my son and his wife as their go-to inspector as they're looking for their first house. We had a horrible experience with Snook's! We purchased a Scratch and Dent GE Double Convection…read moreOven because it was in stock and could be delivered the next day. Due to area flooding stoves were hard to find in stock so we jumped on this model after being assured it was new and only had a minor scratch. Our salesperson wrote our phone number down incorrectly so they couldn't call us for delivery the next day. I called after not hearing from them and was told they'd come the next day. The next day the team delivered our stove and worked for over an hour to get it hooked up. The guys couldn't get a steady flame and told me they needed a pressure checking tool they didn't have with them. After an hour they gave up and said a tech would come look at it the next day. I asked if we needed to shut the gas off and they assured me the burners were off and so was the oven so we were fine. This was around 2 PM. The guys left and my daughter and I ran some errands and grabbed dinner. We sat down to watch a movie and we noticed how strong the gas smell was. I checked the stove again and everything was off. About 8 PM we were both dizzy and had pounding headaches. I opened windows, turned on fans and pulled the stove out myself and shut the gas valve off because my gut told me something wasn't right. It took hours to air out the house. The next day the tech came out and found that all the fittings in our new stove were set up for propane and not natural gas. Gas had poured out of 7 opening for hours! By law they have to mark stoves that have been altered with a sticker and this one didn't have one. This is so dangerous! We had Black Hills come out to check the line a few days later and make sure there weren't leaks (which there weren't) but they were appalled this had happened as it could have killed us or blown the entire house us had I not shut the line off. Snooks didn't have the natural gas fittings for my stove and told me it could be awhile for them to get them. I went to the store to talk to the owner Bill. He apologized and assured me they would do whatever we needed to "make it right". I asked if we could get another model but that was when we discovered several other units were also propane fitted and not marked. I found out their scratch and dent models come off a truck from Best Buy normally and they don't know what their issues are; hardly what I would considered a new model. The whole transaction felt very sketchy. I inquired about getting a brand new version of the same model and he told me it would be awhile for it to come in and despite only costing $300 more than what I paid for my unit, he said couldn't do that because he has a bottom line and offered me $100 discount on a new one. I was so offended at the lack of empathy he displayed when his faulty product could have killed my family. He said it could be a month to get the right fittings for our stove, negating the entire reason I bought the stove. I inquired about getting our original stove back that they hauled away the day before and just getting a refund. Bill suddenly said we will do whatever it takes and that they couldn't get our stove back, which made no sense. I left the store angry and upset. My husband called to see what could be done as I had gotten nowhere and Bill was incredibly rude to him and hung up on him! Magically a few hours later Bill called me and said they had pirated our fittings from new units and would install them after the weekend. 6 days after we bought the stove we had a team come with the correct fittings. They lost a piece in the stove they never found and dropped the tipped oven onto my tile floor at one point but they did get the new parts in. All the crew that came to our house were very nice and apologized for the mistake and for the way the owner treated us. We got to pay a high gas bill thanks to Snooks. I still feel we got a lemon. Bill never followed up or "made it right" other than getting the correct fittings. We will never buy from Snook's again and urge others to think twice.

They then sent 2 people who then OVERFILLED the boiler and both stood there for 45 minutes to let it drain. Which I paid for. Unfortunately got a new install furnace done by them as well last fall. They cut the lines to my old ac condenser for the install and never told me. Was a nice surprise to find in the spring. I tried to use them one last time to bleed a boiler after not being able to find ANYBODY else. They waited 3 weeks until the the day before the appointment to cancel and say they wouldn't come because I was upset about my previous service. I think after spending 5k I'm allowed to expect good service, but they disagree. 0-10 if I could
