First of all, MrFence was prompt and on time. Scott came out the next day after we called to give us an estimate of what we wanted done. Today, our fence was installed by Ayden and Matthew, whom were also prompt and on time. They were professional, skilled and talented. They worked well together and were very cordial. Mr. Fence installed a fence for me in 2020. We needed a repair due to the recent ice storm. It took three phone calls before I could get a quote. They wanted almost $1,000 to repair six pieces. That was 1/7 of the cost of the entire fence! I was told you have to buy an entire section to get the top and bottom pieces. I understand the company who manufactures the fence only sells replacement parts by the section. The cost of one section from any other dealer is $144. Mr. Fence quoted $220 per section plus labor. When I asked where all my extra fence pieces were from the original installation, I was told I have to ask for them when they complete the job otherwise they take them with them. I paid for them....shouldn't they leave the extra pieces automatically? Looks to me like if they are collecting everyone's extra pieces, they should be able to use those pieces for repairs. Not only was Dale Dossett's attitude bad, he called my husband after I left and offered two options for my problem. Option 1 was for $607.41 to replace the damaged sections of the fence and leave the extra parts. Option 2 was they would give me the parts at no cost and in return I would give them a positive review!!! I have nothing positive to say about this business. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!! They are only interested in installing fences and could care less about anything anyone needs in the future. My options are to drive to Cincinnati to get two sections at $144 each or order the two sections for $144 each plus shipping of approximately $150. You can bet I will be getting my replacement parts from anyone but Mr. Fence and will NEVER EVER recommend then to anyone! Do your research before making a major investment in your property. After reading reviews on Facebook I decided to go with Mr. Fence. I mean he is the biggest and therefore the best right? Well the fence installed months after the promised time frame and the quality of the installation and materials were subpar. Then to top it all off they added charges to the original quote! I attempted to talk to the owner Shawn, but he came across dismissive and condescending. I had originally posted the review on Facebook a few months ago but have recently learned that they delete and block those that leave bad reviews, so I checked and sure enough I was blocked, had a friend check and sure enough my review was nowhere to be found. This is bad business all the way around. I want a customer to make an informed decision don't be petty and leave the bad reviews with the good. read more

After a week of getting the run around the owner Mr. Fence returned my call regarding damage to one of my vehicles from one of the trucks. He started spouting off about being a cop and he's not liable then proceeded to tell me to call my insurance company. Not taking responsibility or at the very least apologizing for the damage tells me everything that I need to know about the self proclaimed MR. Fence. I wrote this review from another Facebook because Shawn King immediately blocked me from all of his social media after speaking with him on the phone, I guess that's why he has such a high rating lol. read more

I would not recommend Mr. Fence. They installed a privacy fence for my parents nearly one year ago. It is junk. the back gate has a big gap, boards are warping all over the place. I know quality work, this isn't it. They tried contacting them but could not get any resolution to the problems they installed. It was overpriced as well. Had a full $4,100 privacy fence installed and they did fine. Then later tried to get pricing to install a small fence to separate my yard. The salesperson Scott came to the house to give us an estimate. When I called him several days later, he said he left it on the back patio? Who does this? Who would do this and at least not call and follow up. Weak salesperson. I told him that I didn't need cedar and asked him to re-price the fence with pine. 7 days later...nothing. I called the office and spoke to a manager (Danny?) who told me that they are busy, but he would have me something back that same day. Still nothing 4 days later. I understand this is a small job, but if they don't want to do it, they should just say so, Very unprofessional. Moral of the story, don't bother with them unless you plan on spending several thousand dollars or they just wont talk to you. read more

Mr. Fence gave me a reasonable quote for a white vinyl fence. They were able to complete the job the following week, and were extremely efficient and careful during the install. I was out of state and they kept in touch making sure that all the specifications that I requested were done. I would highly recommend them and will call on them again for any future fencing needs. After quotes from three companies selected Mr Fence because quote was professional. They promised and knew we were wanting fence to protect small dogs. First they put one side on backward which they corrected by putting another fence in front of it. Then after they left we discovered large gaps at bottom of fence. Now we have to hire someone to come and put dirt around new fence to keep dogs in. Finally they charged my card without authorization from me. When I called the receptionist said they couldn't have charged my card because they destroyed the number and information after they charged the initial deposit. Later she called back to apologize that indeed they had kept my original card number and their sales manager had charged the remaining balance . Buyer beware they have a slick website but these people do not deliver and are very pricey. read more
